  • That song is so fucking underrated it’s CRAZY. He’s saying he built his career (this house) with fans. He has no manager, no publicist, no contracts or labels, and he did that intentionally so they can’t hurt him. He built his house with haters in mind because he knew they would come for him, and he built it strong enough to take them. Fucking brilliant.

    • He also talks about how faithful and strong his fans are, talking about the traps and sensors they put in place while building this castle to go after those that try to take them down, to protect the platform that they helped build for him to perform on. I've watched him do live feeds with his fans, and he's straight as hell, he's grounded by them. He has a unique relationship with his fan base. It's kind of cool, I didn't grow up with a role model that took the time to get to know, and shoot the shit with the people that supported them.

I listen to my podcats and fall asleep to Chopin at night. Yep, I am that boring. I just happened to hear your song "Fake Woke" on the Tatum Report. So of course I have been binge-watching many of your videos over the last few days. And as always, I'm not disappointed. I never liked rap before, mostly because I don't care for the vulgarity nor can I understand half of the bullshit they say. Not only that, I can see, how much you actually value your fans. I even see that I have gotten likes on comments (I recently made) on videos you posted years ago. So for all those people that can't stand Tom MacDonald, well he literally doesn't care and your wasted energy? Well, that will just fuel him for the next song. Much love, E.

  • I’ve been on KZhead for majority of my life so far and this is my first ever comment i posted on any video ever. Tom Macdonald I can sincerely say, without a doubt, that i respect him greatly for his messages and his mindset. I’ve watched all of his videos several times over because they are both skillfully orchestrated and actually have a bit of soul/meaning behind the words being said. This comment might never be noticed and may disappear into the sea of hate and love for this one person. But i just felt that either good or bad, this Man needs to be seen, he needs to be heard. The world needs for thinkers and doers like him, who will fight for whatever they want out of life. My respect for this person is great and some of his work has helped me out of some tight situations. This person needs to be listened too, whether you agree what he has to say or not. The message is strong and means something.
