Thank you so much for the work you put into this. As someone with ADHD, I truly appreciated the way you spoke clearly and demonstrated your points immediately afterward, then repeated them clearly again. It cemented the points, making it easier to follow along and process, to learn. Thank you for such a greatd video. It makes me feel empowered to cut a bixie now.
This is amazing! I can totally relate. Thank you so much for watching 🫶🏻
Thank you Ellen! Beautiful work and clear instruction!!
Absolutely love this cut
Absolutely love your video, your speed and explanation is flawless thank you! ❤
I love this cut. I don't understand why the hair cutting shops I have gone to never do cuts in sections, they just cut big gobs at once and I am never satisfied with the cut I get.
Oh no! May we suggest that you reach out to a Redken Artist in your area. Redken artists are highly trained using the same techniques that I use! You can use the link below to locate a Redken Stylist or a Redken Elite Salon in your area! www.redken.eu/en/salonlocator

Excellent instructor.
I want this cut so bad 🥺😫 I just don't want anyone giving me a mullet style that's so "in" these days 😂
For sure! I feel the same way about it.
Have your stylist watch this video. Any good stylist, loves education. And especially when it’s free!
@@kathleenfotch7316yesss !!!! I love when clients bring me any kid of inspiration but esp a tutorial bc I usually get to learn a new way to do something in a form I would never thought before ❤❤😊😅
This is an ugly version of that haircut.
Where do you live? Area? Did you find a stylist? I am thankful for education! ❤️ been cutting hair for 46 years. Still love cutting and coloring hair.

Appreciate you, thank you my friend 💜
my frined is asking for a wolfette cut, but I feel this would suit her face shape better, thank you so much for giving us such a greatly explained video!
Thank you for the tutorial, very nice haircut! Do you think it is possible to do this haircut only with the scissors ? or it will be look too heavy?
I love the bangs to I have longer hair. I want these bangs.
Very helpful. Thank you.
This is a great tutorial!!!! Doing this on my client ok Thursday!!!
Have fun! 💜
just did this haircut to myself and i love it, thanks ❤
HOW???
Love it
💜💜
This is it!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Glad you like it!
I LOVE THIS HAIRCUT, I WISH I CAN DO IT ON MY OWN HAIR..... LIKE THE WAY U EXPLAINED THE CUT 👍😁✌💞
That's my problem I can do my front and sides but have no one I trust to do the back. I dont trust myself cutting it although I can bleach, highlight, or color it all alone just kills my arms
@@cindygr8ce SAME, MY ARMS NEED TO DO A WORK OUT.🤣✌
@@b.c.3577 idk what I did but I did something and I love it!! Although I waiting for my girlfriend to wake up I need to borrow her clippers so I can shave my left side undercut leading to my elongated asymmetrical pixie around to a shoulder length extremely layered shag....damn I wish I could insert a pic on youtube
@@cindygr8ce HAHAHA ! SO U JUST WENT FOR IT, COOL, THE WAY U EXPLAINED IT, NOW I WANT TO SEE THIS "MASTERPIECE" U DID ON UR HAIR👍😂✌
@@b.c.3577 I didn't say masterpiece I said I love it. It's good enough it doesn't look like my toddler did it and it's the kind of style that even a mistake looks intentional. If I can find the time today to actually shave the undercut I'll throw a pic up on insta I use same handle everywhere even though I don't use any of them but a couple times a year
Tooop and Nice
It’s so hard finding a stylist who knows how to cut and can give you what you want. 😩
May we suggest that you reach out to a Redken Artist in your area. Redken artists are highly trained using the same techniques that we use!
I'm not able to go to any hairdressers for the time being and my hair is getting really long and uncomfortable 😭 I'm a bit scared of cutting it on my own but I think it'll be fine.... it looks complicated but hopefully it's easier to actually do
Love this cut and how and where you’ve sectioned everything. However, once I saw the razor come out I shrieked, a razor to my hair is the worst nightmare. I have thick wavy hair and a razor destroys my hair. FRIZZ until it grows completely out🫣 I would love to see this exactly tutorial using just shears, I know it’s more work but those of us with different hair texture simple can not have a razor to the hair. I do see how gentle you are which is amazing, but that’s not how most stylists use the razor, most just slice into the hair and I know, lived through it several times until I found my current stylist. I used to hear my hair being sliced literally that’s how hard the razor was being used. And it took me a long time to say NO because then you feel they get upset and you feel you’re stuck in that chair. I don’t know how much training is actually taught in using a razor explaining which kind of hair it’s suited for a razor and which hair texture is not.
Hey Ellen, at 12:04 when you say exact pattern all the way through, do i bring the hair towards me or do i move with the crown of the head to cut?
Hi! Same pattern meaning vertical sections with zero over direction pulling it towards me!
😂What did they do to the 90s,my ex wants to hang out with your mannequin 😂
Is this hair cut style good for any face shape? Thank you.
👀@ellendevine Can your respond?
I really liked the tutorial but I found the background music to be too distracting. I think it would really benefit from having no background music or having a more neutral song (like a lo-fi beat or something)
Thank you for the recommendation. We will take it into consideration for the future!
Hello, do you do the same process when trimming that same haircut ?
👀@ellendevine Can your respond?
Will this haircut look good on wavy hair?
@EllenDevineHair- Can you help?
❤
Do you pull the hairline back in the middle everytime you make another section
@EllenDevineHair- Can you help?
Why exclusively the razor???
@EllenDevineHair- Can you respond?
The razor cuts hair and gives texture all at once! Helps give the cut a “shaggy” look. Razors cut hair like a blade of grass so the ends will be lighter and move better. Hope that helps! 😊
The 90's coming back is scarey lol

The longer version looks like a 1960's "shag" haircut.
Very retty cut.
Love the haircut!!
