In this video I show how I sit down and approach a jazz standard on the accordion. What approaches I take to harmonize the melody with chords, creating different lines in the bass, counter lines under the melody, lots of passing chords, and half step approach chords!

    • Haha. The accordion doesn't hurt that's for sure. This is a borrowed from a friend, Ernie Felice Model SS4. It's an amazing jazz accordion.

  • This is the best youtube tutorial on jazz for the accordion. One of the reason being that it is the only one :-) Jokes aside, this is really good stuff.
