    • Do you know how much they get paid on daily basis for making the 12 bowl a day?? Pkr 1000Rs. a day wage equivalent to usd 4 dollar for 10 hour 😢

    • Throughout the process they have a stream of water running to catch the dust and turn it into slush, also to stop from heating. Stone is never cut or polished without water being poured on it continuously.

  • In Mexico, there was or is a large vein of onyx 14+ feet in diameter that you can cut to any thickness table you want. Saw these at a Mexican trade fair in San Antonio in about 1976.

  • For making 1 bowl a big piece of marble is required and it's all from our nature. So after CNG this I am thinking that we shoul keep our handcrafted items safe because it related with nature's assest which we can't buy with any millons.
