Arthur and De Jong are good but lets face it, they're not at the level of Xavi and Iniesta. Look at Man City with the likes of Silva and De Bruyne under Pep. Their football is sexy but not at this level of Barca with Xavi and Iniesta. Also, Man City are not successfull in the Champions League. The chemistry between players are important in tiki taka BUT the legendary quality of the Xavi-Iniesta-Busquets midfield is most crucial. I dont think Arthur and De Jong can handle this type of football and bring us a Champions League. We better let them play their own football.

Messi was not just a bonus. Barca used to play that way long before Guardiola. In the early 2000s, Barca was struggling hard. With passes, they would bring the ball in front of the goal line and wouldn't even score. The play was nice to watch but the results were frustrating.

The football around them evolve and they need to find another way to reach another ideal football. have you no idea how great sachi initiate the evolve of football back in 90s?! He broke down the previous concept all in one more than what tiki taka did by Guardiolla. But when you iniate a changes, somes will adopt, others will find a way to adapt and one of those will try to break it like what Mourinho did with his Inter and Jupp Heynckes with his bayern munich. If you want to expect for a glory to stand last, never expect the same way, the same philosophy. He brought his own style to how he wanted to play it and to some extent that style was also determined by the kind of players he had at the time. So is all about getting a coach with better/fresher idea's as in application of the same philosophy with this current squad. A style of application of Barcelona's philosophy that is adaptable to modern trend of the game not necessarily evolution from that philosophy to a completely different philosophy.

@@albertosei8788 The manager doesn't, matter, Tiki Taka was showing its decline back in 2016-2017, like he said; you can't expect the same philosophy to work if you want to establish yourself for the rest of time. Pressing and counter attacks will just shut tiki-taka down. Some delusional Barcelona fans will just believe that if they keep on sacking the manager, then suddenly all will turn back to normal and Barça will somehow get back to winning everything whilst still implementing the same philosophy despite no La Masia youth players making an impact in Barcelona and most of their players either retiring or are ageing dramatically? Itdidn't work with Enrique, it will not work with Valverde...

@@omalone1169 In terms of playing style and performances, the 2010/11 season team was the best. There was telepathic connection between all players. It was poetry in motion. The 2009/10 team had some issues with Zlatan fitting and his form, especially in the second half of the season.

• The duo Xavi-Iniesta were key to the system whenever the possession became repetitive and sterile these two for the most part would create something unexpected. • The movement off the ball to give passing options or create room for the ball carrier was so well choreographed and intelligent. • High pressing was fundamental to Barça dominant play style. The positional play was incredible effective to recover possession. • Messi being part of the system instead of being the system was the cherry on the top of the cake. At the time he didn't have to drop back too much and could spend more energy in the final third.

This Barcelona side was so good, their passing, movements, pressing once they lost possession, triangles to provide passing options This Barcelona, Mourinho's Chelsea (First) and Real Madrid, Arrigo Sacchi's AC Milan, SAF Utd 2007/08 team were some of the best teams, Klopp's Liverpool, Man City under Pep, Bayern under Flick and Nagelsmann, Invincibles, Ancelotti's AC Milan, Luis Enrique's Barcelona in the MSN era are some of the best football teams I've witnessed in my lifetime

Usually the best-ever generation of a club that has enchanted the world is in the past. Like Cruyff's Ajax, Pelé's Santos, Liverpool from 1970 and 1980, Arrigo Sacchi's Milan and the Dutch trio ... And with this Barcelona from Messi, Iniesta, Xavi and Guardiola, we could feel the same as Santos fans when they saw Pelé and Ajax fans when they saw Cruyff. We experienced a magical time when we witnessed one of the best football squads of all time, led by one of the GOATs, Lionel Messi.

I know this was made a while ago, but it's one of the best youtube videos I've ever seen. Probably the only video which really captures whole actions and not just the last two touches in 1007 angles. Also, even though I appreciate that some people love modern music, they could always google said music, sports video s should only have commentary (and sounds of the crowd ofc) as you made it. All in all amazing work, congrats, first time to subscribe to someone watching only one video (although source material was great as well ,tiki-taka was something outwordly).

Barcelona 2011/12 keep the ball but do it with speed. There team has to be fast but patient. Dangerous but smart. Individual talent but with synergy. Intensive but calm. I believe this is the greatest team ever made. Top teams had good players on there team but Barcelona 11/12 had a field full of talented geniuses. If you imagine the pinnacle of Football that would be it.

@@sakketin i dont think so. His stamina is reaaally bad. He never runs when he doesnt have the ball. He just stands there waiting for the ball to come. He preserves his energy smartly but it shows hes running out of energy quickly already. I dont think its motivation, hes very motivated to win the UCL at least.

Arthur and De Jong are good but lets face it, they're not at the level of Xavi and Iniesta. Look at Man City with the likes of Silva and De Bruyne under Pep. Their football is sexy but not at this level of Barca with Xavi and Iniesta. Also, Man City are not successfull in the Champions League. The chemistry between players are important in tiki taka BUT the legendary quality of the Xavi-Iniesta-Busquets midfield is most crucial. I dont think Arthur and De Jong can handle this type of football and bring us a Champions League. We better let them play their own football.

Messi was not just a bonus. Barca used to play that way long before Guardiola. In the early 2000s, Barca was struggling hard. With passes, they would bring the ball in front of the goal line and wouldn't even score. The play was nice to watch but the results were frustrating.

Xavi was the lynchpin and Iniesta was the hinge - Messi was the cherry on top.

As a Madrid fan, this was a very dark period for me. No matter how hard we tried during this period we were always a levels below Barca.

The positional play was incredible effective to recover possession. • Messi being part of the system instead of being the system was the cherry on the top of the cake. I know this was made a while ago, but it's one of the best youtube videos I've ever seen. Probably the only video which really captures whole actions and not just the last two touches in 1007 angles. Also, even though I appreciate that some people love modern music, they could always google said music, sports video s should only have commentary (and sounds of the crowd ofc) as you made it. Barcelona 2011/12 keep the ball but do it with speed. There team has to be fast but patient. Dangerous but smart. Individual talent but with synergy. Intensive but calm. I believe this is the greatest team ever made. Top teams had good players on there team but Barcelona 11/12 had a field full of talented geniuses. If you imagine the pinnacle of Football that would be it.

@@sakketin i dont think so. His stamina is reaaally bad. He never runs when he doesnt have the ball. He just stands there waiting for the ball to come. He preserves his energy smartly but it shows hes running out of energy quickly already. I dont think its motivation, hes very motivated to win the UCL at least.
