I do think she is holding back to save her voice from this long and tightly scheduled tour. Her vocal condition is excellent, she can easily hit that Eb5 in the climax imo.

@@huhyoucantstealmyjoy7420Holding back to save for what? She will not randomly sing this song or whatever else live towards the end of the tour. What you see here is what it will be on the last date. People say she is preserving her voice all the time, but she has been lipping most climaxes for the last 20 years, her voice should be in pristine condition cause she hasn’t actually sang anything taxing for years. People are confusing resting with laziness and I am saying that as a fan. If she was resting, and then sings every song live. Then the vocal routines and not speaking all day etc warrants the results. She isn’t preserving her voice, she just knows her instrument and knows that it is not consistent enough to even attempt the majority of songs live anymore.

@@SilentAssassin01234 who u comparing her to. She has nodules since day 1. You can’t compare her with those singers that don’t have nodules. Her voice kept changing during her absolute prime. I don’t sense anything wrong with her lipping most of the climaxes. They are much much harder than those in other people’s songs. It’s unrealistic for her to replicate climax in live performances.

But singers can improvise new melodies and dodges like she has done before. My point was more about how lambs say she is lipping to preserve her voice, but she isn’t preserving it for anything. She should have been preserving it for these shows, and maybe she has but what’s the point in doing that to sing one or two verses live every few songs. She has preserving her voice for 10 years lipping hard vocals, and it has no effect. The damage is done, rest won’t save it or improve it now. I am angry with fans who say she is saving her voice for the tour, that is just a bs excuse. The tour is now, she should be delivering. And she hasn’t had nodules from day one, you cannot be born with nodules. She developed them later in her childhood as a lot of children do. Mariah hasn’t sang anything vocally taxing live for 15 years. So these lambs that say her voice needs rest and to be saved for later shows are delusional.

My criticism is that at this point there really aren't any songs in her shows that are completely 100% live. She relies on playback and live mixture in every song. If there is a fully live song its probably either shortened, a duet, an improv, or at high risk of being dropped from setlist.

It's obvious she's amped her lipping up more, and with less instances of switching between live and playback then back to live etc it overall makes for a cleaner sound.

@@pvm3926 Exactly. There's a lot of copium in these reactions. She sounded okay during the first half, when she was actually singing, but it was wobbly in places. Then all of the sudden, at the bridge, she sounds like she went back in time 20 years and the rest of the song is perfect. Mariah should do what all other aging singers do - lower the key and use more head voice. Miming is a sad look and nobody is paying good money to hear that.

@@LeandroRozolen então, eu acho que talvez ela pode estar triste por causa da voz. Li alguns comentários dizendo que ela estava com autotune no microfone, dublando bastante.... Eu não entendo muito, então não posso falar, mas para quem sabe realmente cantar deve ser muito difícil não conseguir realizar as mesmas apresentações que se conseguia. A Whitney ficava bem triste no final da carreira por não conseguir ter a mesma qualidade vocal. Espero de verdade que não seja isso.

she puts out so many shows in short period of time, nobody compliments her passion in music and singing. when couldn’t sing as well as in the 90s, people like you will be first to bully her as a “fan”. now that she sounds good, yall call her lazy. what tf more do yall want?

that means mariah loves doing what she’s doing. her goal is to connect with her fans and sing for them. this is her passion.

I haven't followed her for a long time. Not only the voice, but there is also no energy, her body almost does not move, a clamp in her shoulders and other things, as if it is difficult for her to even walk. It's very sad. She can hit the Bb4 live but she doesnt want to over damage her voice this early as she still has many tours left 😢

@@Mommyyriah Lol Mariah has been ‘preserving’ her voice for years, how can she be resting and not speaking all day etc for her to just sing two verses live in a song. I love Mariah and respect her legacy. But she doesn’t care that much anymore I don’t think. People say she is resting her voice for the whole tour, but we all know she will be lipping the whole thing. It isn’t like she will randomly do a song 100% live later on in the show. She hasn’t sung the Hero Bb4 live for years. Mariah has been lipping regularly for 20 years now, her voice should be in it’s best condition because she hasn’t actually sang anything taxing since 2005 live on tour. So everyone saying she is just resting to not damage her voice, the damage is done. She has been resting for years and the voice is not healing.

@@SilentAssassin01234 Mariah needs to A: remove her nodules via surgery or B: start vocal training from 0. She has the muscle memory, but the lack of constant warm up and too much rest is what makes her voice inconcistent

The music is still the same and she still singing it even if not live. She showed up and moved her mouth and knows the lyrics and at least tries to keep people happy even when they disrespectful her by complaining over using an instrument that has done crazy things for thirty plus years

Hi ..But when she does sing live you can bet people would complain. . Either she doesn't hit the belt properly or her voice cracks and people would say she doesnt sound the same as she did years ago or thar she lost her voice.. I just think people need to remember she is human and frankly what she did in the 1990s isn't possible now. Her voice would naturally and rightly change but the expectation of her still hitting those notes day after day with same power as her younger voice probably scares her because all.her career she has been dubbed as one of the greatest singers so it's a double edged sword. If people could accept that she could sing live but alas she is trapped in her own talent that any mistake is made bigger and colossal as it really needs to be. I would love nothing more to hear all the faults and all but the perfectionism is so ingrained in her that she doesn't want to shatter the illusion. But.thanks for the reply. To me, Mariah is foremost a song writer and recording artist I don’t think she sees herself as a performer Largely, I imagine she tours to give her fans the chance to see her and because the market is lucrative She works with her musical team to give the best shows she can with the skill set she has access to She lips using recent vocals. I think that’s acceptable given the hours of singing she has given to the world, at the cost of parts of her own signing voice

Mariah is in good voice and she can sound exactly like prerecord vocals so we’re just confused as fans why she’s not attempting as much as she used to. I get that she’s human but Mariah should seek help with her voice bc that is not fair to the fans that pay hundreds of dollars to see her. She’s been having vocal issues for awhile now so I feel that’s irresponsible of her to not confer w a specialist to help improve her vocal state, especially since she’s been laying low and hasn’t been performing as much.
