In this episode we bought the recreated Evel Knievel Stunt Cycle, launched some jumps with it, and it was awesome!

  • I got one for Xmas I think in 1977 or 1978. I still have fond memories of building ramps to launch it off of. Best Toy Ever!

  • I loved this toy as a kid and another I just remembered was a blow up robot with remote control base. It was the robot from buck rogers.

  • The original stunt cycle was made by Ideal Toy company. They sold millions. But when Evel was convicted of attacking a writer with a baseball bat and breaking the man's arm, the toy company pulled the toys from the shelves of toy stores. I wonder if this is a vintage toy or are they remaking it?

  • When Level jumped the shark it was all over, he literally jumped a shark on his last jump, yes one month before Fonzie, they were happy days

    • He actually jumped into 1980 before he quit. There is a list of all his jumps, over 300, in the Evel Knievel Museum in Topeka, KS. Most people only know of the televised ones, and the epic crashes.

  • Very durable to be crashed so much and not break. Made in Germany? Or Japan?
