The McElroys' song at the end of The Adventure Zone: Hootenanny Live in Nashville Tennessee
Пікірлер
I constantly forget that all four of them have musical theatre backgrounds and am occasionally blessed. Love these sangin' McElboys.

I can't, lol. I grew up in Florida, but also VERY southern Baptist, and I was in theater in high school, lol.

I cannot believe how well they kept the beat with the audience’s horrid sense of rhythm. and how well griff edited that out of the final product.

and then paul claps on the 1 and the 3. fuck me

Madi hahaha no Paul’s got the 2 and the 4 but the audience just can’t keep up at all and is even directly opposite often. Watch just his hands, don’t listen

The poor sense of rhythm and timing from this audience is actually staggering. Don't they know you don't just clap/stomp whenever you feel like it? It makes me genuinely surprised some people don't just forget to breathe to death lmao. It's actually unbelievable haha

Travis looking like an emo country pirate and absolutely killing it too. I don't know anyone else who could get away with that style but that's just Travis, he just rocks it.

I did too!! Griff’s editing is amazing, and Paul flawless at fitting in there. XD No actual rhythm in the audience at all, sadly. I say this as one who has no rhythm. I knows it when I hears it.

This is definitely up there with my favorite TAZ Live episodes. I never thought there would be a McElroy/Future Folk crossover. If anyone hasn’t seen the movie The History of Future Folk, do yourselves a favor!

JFC I hate it when the audience claps along and are so obviously offbeat. Just let the good folks on stage do their own thing. If they didn't ask you to join in, don't.
