    • The video is definitely an artistic masterpiece and moved me deeply. I'm not 100% sure about the real meaning of the English word "wonderful", but I wouldn't use that term in a video where a happily in love couple dies together in a gloomy world. I also don't think IU wants the people who got her message to say it was "wonderful."

  • I thought Love, Death, Robots was insane by creating a coherent, edge-of-your-seat story in just 15 minutes, but this MV takes the cake. I am yet to NOT be in tears when I watch this and it's 'just' a MV. This is insane, everyone outdone themselves on this one.

  • I'm still in shock about this masterpiece and the fact that it felt like a complete movie in only 5 minutes. We got instantly attached to these unknown charas, we felt happy with them, we feared with them, we got frustrated and even hated this world for being so unfair. And that ending broke us all but had such a powerful meaning at the same time. Thank you to everyone who was involved!

  • She was hearing impaired..she was speechless..he was visually impaired..but they could make up for those deficiencies with their love..even when the whole world was in trouble they stood hand in hand and still had to part..what a beautiful story they have presented. ....I didn't see them as idols... Instead, they were two actors competing... If they have been able to capture the hearts of those who are watching, then that is their success.... ❤️I finished watching the MV with tears....

  • i think the most haunting thing about this music video is the fact that their clothes fall to the top of that pile. each item of clothing in that mountain once belonged to a person. kept them warm, kept them safe, expressed themselves. each item of clothing tells a story in that massive pile. what other stories happened in this world? how many other people, lovers, family, friends, held each other and cried in their last moments? how many souls clutched onto their loved ones for the barest whisper of comfort in a world in which safety is so uncertain, life so fleeting? how many protected their most treasured person in the face of death? the bride’s veil and groom’s suit are simply the tip of the mountain - how many people never grew old? how many stories never got told?

  • I want to commend the people who thought about the concept of this mv. Like they literally represent the box as the "box". We often heard this phrase, "get out of the box" meaning that we have to get out of our comfort zone or to what the society demands us to be/to do. Because once you locked yourself in the box that's no different in being dead. And in this mv, the characters were running away from the box because they wanted to be free and alive. However, the box still caught them and died. Moreover, IU being deaf and V being blind in one eye represents the people with disability which made this mv more emotional. This is a really good message for them that even with disability, you can still do more so you don't have to stay in the box. But in a wider scope, I think IU and V did not only represent the PWDs but everyone as a whole. Because everyone of us have our own struggles and insecurities that make us scared to get out of the box. So, everyone can relate to this mv. Lastly and definitely not the least, IU and V being lovers here did not only represent the couples (I think in this mv they thought that was easier to understand by the viewers). But I think, it could be anyone who would be by your side while you are struggling to get out of the box. Someone you could trust and lean on. And someone who would stay and not go away. And that's my take in this mv. I hope everyone who hears this song connects with it and get the message it's trying to tell. ❤

  • This’ll be a long comment but whoever wants to read this, here it goes: This MV/Song wrecked me every time I come here but I didn’t realize the impact this has. I showed this to my older brother, and he’s your typical MANLY man, “emotions are bad” type of guy… I showed him thinking he’ll scoff at it. We watched it together and the last thing I thought would never thought happened. He cried. Also, he didn’t realize that he was clenching on to the couch cushion so hard and when I asked if he’s ok he just said “play it again” with tears falling. No sobbing or audible crying but just stoic tears and would just say “play it again” every time it ended. Most heartbreaking yet beautiful moment I’ve experienced is seeing the strongest person I know finally letting his guard down to FEEL something. I’m writing this comment now because though we are family, we weren’t close, but ever since watching this together, we’ve been much closer like siblings are supposed to be. Now I’ll always remember that IU and V brought my brother and I closer for the first time since we reached adulthood. Now we’re more open when we talk to each other. About life, relationships, struggles, and after hearing a lot of things he went through, I can see why this song touched him. He even said “I didn’t read the lyrics, I just FELT the song. Now I’ve created a playlist for him to get started on listening to IU and Tae/BTS. Thank you IU for this masterpiece that has brought my brother and I closer. ❤️
