  • During my teenage years, I lived in a haunted house. It’s hard to explain to someone who’s never experienced it. Every spirit haunts differently. This particular presence seemed determined to chase away all of my girlfriends right before I could get to second base.

    • The problem is that our species has survived by making type 1 errors. Thinking something is there when it's not. "Is that a bear in the bushes, let's run first and ask questions later" Type two errors often end in death. Thinking there isn't something when there is. So for this reason, we as a species need to be aware of this fact. We need to fully explore all ideas before jumping to myths, magic and the mysterious. But hey, maybe you did have a ghost. What do I know.

  • When I was still living in the house I grew up in I would sometimes hear my name being called by an adult woman. It always sounded like it came from outside of my room, like from the other side of the house, and it would only happen when I was alone in the house. Usually I would be having my headphones on and kinda vaguely hear it through my music. I sometimes checked the house to see if someone had come home, like maybe it was my mom's voice, even though it didn't exactly sound like her. I didn't have any neighbors nearby, and of the ones that lived nearby, nobody shared my name, so I kinda just shrugged it off as being a hallucination of some kind. The brain making things up from noise. But the strange thing is that when I got my first girlfriend, my house was the place where we usually hung out, and whenever it was just us at home I would never hear it. Then we broke up, and I started hearing the voice calling my name again from time to time. Then, I got together with a new girl, and she started hanging out at my place. At some point we started sharing ghost stories and experiences, and I told her about a few of mine, she told me a few of hers, and then I mentioned it to her. Before I met her, I would sometimes hear a woman calling out from somewhere inside the house. She looked at me wide eyed, and asked me "Is the voice calling your name?". At this point I'm thinking she's trying to scare me, but at the same time I didn't mention it calling my name, so I asked her "What, don't tell me you've heard it too?". Yes, she had heard it too. Calling my name, not her's. She actually seemed genuinely spooked, enough to convince me that she was being serious. Some time later I ran into my ex at school and we talked for a bit, and I asked her about if she's ever had anything weird or like supernatural feeling happening at my parents' house and she just casually said "Yeah, I sometimes imagined hearing your mom calling your name." And there is no way that my then gf would've told my ex since they didn't know each other and didn't go to the same school, and I never told anyone this. No clue what to make of it, but it's always been a bit of a surreal thing, and I thought it would be interesting enough to share.

    • Something similar happened to me, some context my grandmother has dementia the one we’re it takes over slowly over a few years she didn’t really talk at all as well, basically all through out my childhood when I wasn’t at home or in a different town (my grandmother lived with us) I would always here my grandmother voice saying my name as if she was right behind me whispering into my ears, at these times I thought I could feel her hot breath on my neck, i told my mum and she didn’t believe me, flash forward to a few years my best friend (who I grew up with and has met my grandmother and she considers my friend her grandchild too), we was at her place house sitting for a weekend, a few months prior my grandmother passed away, we was sitting in the lounge room listening to music having a few drinks and what have you, out of no where I felt that warm presence and heard my grandmothers voice say my name, keep in mind we was blasting music, I didn’t bring any attention to it because I was tipsy and didn’t want to scare ourselves 🤣but my friend turned to me pale and shocked and said “you heard that right”… my heart sank into my chest and said yes, essentially I told her everything, I was just so distraught that after so many years no one has ever heard it before and in many cases I was in a social settings or basically touching skin to whoever was next to me, that was the last time I heard it or felt that presence, even when I go to her grave I don’t feel a presence at all.

Then the other day I was sitting with my sister she said "did you realize something? Since we left that house we don't hear out mom calling us." • I’ve had one paranormal experience. I had a panic attack after. My 2 year old son was playing with letter magnets on the fridge. The fridge sits next to the laundry room doorway. At one point, my son dropped a magnet and it rolled into the laundry room. I saw someone pick it up and toss it back to my son, and it landed at his feet. He picked it up and continued to play. I figured it was my sister doing laundry in there, but I realized that I hadn’t seen her walk by me to go in there. So I looked in the room and no one was there. I was only able to see less than half of what it was (the shoulder, arm, etc, but no face since I was around the corner, so I didn’t have a full view.) It was insane. My dad got his gun ready thinking someone broke in, but that would be impossible for someone to break in and disappear two seconds after I saw it… unless it hid in the dryer which would be way too small, and impossible to do it in two seconds with no sound. There’s literally no way possible someone could have done that. It’s possible I hallucinated, but that’s never happened before, and my son reacted and picked it up after it landed at his feet.

    @hearts16@hearts16 Жыл бұрын
    • Was your son looking up at the thing's face or was he just focused on the magnet? If he looked up, what was the expression on his face?

      @untitled6391@untitled6391 Жыл бұрын
    • @@untitled6391 he was focused on the magnet. He was two, so not at that point to understand what was out of the ordinary, or maybe he thought it was my sister too. I’ve asked him if he remembers that, and he doesn’t. He’s 4 now. And to add in, yesterday I heard the dryer going and it was super loud because it had shoes in it. Then I heard it turn off. So I went in there and the dryer timer had 44 min left and the door was wide open with clothes hanging out of it! Lol but maybe the shoes knocked it open. I think of logical reasons first, but the magnet incident was one thing I have no answers for.

I was young, like 10 or 11 and had woken up in the middle of the night, and with my blurry, half-conscious vision I saw what I made out to be a taaaaallll faceless figure, in a white flowing gown (specifically, I saw the white gown lift as if the wind had picked it up a little and brought it back down). Within milliseconds I shifted the bed covers over my head and all drowsiness left me as my main concern was just staying as frozen as I could. I remained awake and freaking out silently under the blanket until it was time for my mum to awake me for school. I refused to tell her out of fear until more than a week later. My mum just laughed it off, but honestly, besides what I believe I saw, I don’t think I have ever felt fear so strongly-nor had another frozen in fear reaction.

Ive for near minimum wage protected hospitals, morgues, graveyards throughout my early 20’s. all these very spooky places were very calm and no issues. I worked a state run retirement home for 8.50 an hour, 10pm-6am, people go here to live the last of their days out. I go into a room within a big hall area centered to the elderly townhouses, 3am, I lock myself into the hall, go to restroom to take a cat nap. I sit indian style on the ground and close my eyes, in this clean two stall bathroom locked into another building, a voice whispered into my left ear, “get out”. I sprinted out the building and stood under a light pole in the parking lot till the sun came up. i am a coherent man. I was 24 at the time.

My mom had confirmation when my sister woke up, went into my mother’s bed and asked her “ who is the man standing in the hallway ? “ She said she froze at the time but was sure he was our lost grandfather meaning no harm. I’m now 29 and been living with my GF and her family for 9 years and sometimes it happens that I see a shadow just like I did before. I asked her “ was your grandfather very tall ? “ and she said yes so I immediately knew it was one of their relatives “ showing up “. Over the years people from the local buildings just kept pilling up junk and random stuff inside, and then neighbourhood managment sealed it off like 20 years ago. Anyways, we managed to somehow open the old rusted door and we gained access to first room and hallway. There was another door also sealed shut so we couldnt go further. It was dark and dusty, nothing too special, some random stuff on the floor and old rusted bike with no tires. Few days later i decided to go alone and explore other rooms, and i basically managed to open that other door without too much difficulty with a crowbar... Long story short, nothing too special or worth taking, but i was on the edge the whole time because i was alone. No matter how many times you go into tunnels or abandoned buildings, you never get used to it when you are alone... And then in the middle of my exploring session shelf rack in another room collapsed and crashed down. It was one of those beaten down old wobbly warehouse shelf racks. I know that i was the cause of that because i was messing with it prior, but silence was interrupted by a crashing bang and i sh*t you not, if i didnt die on that exact spot from sheer shock i never will..

  • I have had paranormal experiences my entire life. Hearing my name called, footsteps, shadows, doors opening and closing you name it I’ve experienced it. Nothing sticks out in my brain quite like this experience tho. When I was a kid the house we lived in seemed extremely normal on the outside but as soon as you stepped in there was an unexplainable feeling. I’m sure many of you know that feeling. Sort of feels like you’re not alone or being watched. it’s like a heavy feeling of dread that you can’t shake. I was always a night owl so I’d often be the only one awake in the house. This was back when tvs were still big and boxy with a very reflective glass screen when the tv was off. I was up late reading a book with my light on and that dread feeling came over my body. I just happened to glance up at my tv reflection to see what looked like a hand reaching in slowly thru the crack in my door to turn off my light switch. I was frozen and couldn’t look away from the reflection. I screamed for my parents. As soon as I yelled the hand pulled back out through the crack and I heard what sounded like someone stomping away. My mother came running into my room to see what had happened. She told me her and my father were asleep. I had my dad check the house while I went into my brothers room to see if he was asleep. He was. To be fair, yes this could have been an intruder, but there’s no way they escaped in the short time that I alerted my family. We moved out of that house a few years later thankfully. Haven’t experienced anything like that since.

  • This is similar to my experience when I used to urban explore. We visited an old mental asylum in Lincoln (UK). There were two of us exploring a bordered asylum in the late afternoon into the evening. We stumbled into one of the wings and reached the end of it which looked like an old communal area. We decided to ask some questions and do the things we saw on TV. Nothing happened, we got no evidence so we decided to leave the area. As we left the communal area the temperature plummeted, we got goose bumps and we felt really uneasy. We pulled out our digital camera and it froze on a black and white static screen also, the battery which was full went to empty. We turned the camera on and off but the issue persisted. We got a bit of a move in after this as we were spooked! Afterwards we left the area and returned to the main entrance area. Our camera returned to normal (full battery), the temperature normalized and we felt much easier in ourselves. Every photo we took in that two minutes was distorted or blacked out. Our camera remained at full battery until the end of our visit. We were hooked on the paranormal since that experience.

  • I was born and raised in cancun mexico, some of you may know that the mayan culture once ruled this territory and there are lots of stories of "aluxes" which are supposed to be creatures that guard the jungle, as well as the spirits of mayan people that were buried in cenotes or sinkholes which are all around the yucatan peninsula. Me and my group of friends were between 13 and 17 years old, one summer we took a trip to the small town of bacalar which is a 4 hour drive away from cancun. In the jungle near bacalar, there was an abandoned mansion that was supposed to be property of a druglord that just vanished, some say he was shot and some others said he was kidnaped. We went in the mansion climbing wall that was a small jump away from the second floor balcony, we all made the jump and got into the mansion, it was very interesting to explore there was still some furniture, but the mansion was almost falling apart because of the humidity and jungle enviroment, we spent around 40 minutes inside the mansion just checking it out, breaking stuff and having good old kids fun. When we decided to leave we all went to the balcony, as we were ready to make the jump back to the wall, we turned our heads to give one last look inside the mansion, out of nowhere a clandle or lighter just lit up inside the mansion aproximately 30 feet away, without sayin a word everybody jumped, some of us where so scared that jumped directly from the second floor to the ground, i broke my wrist and sprained my ancle, another friend had a huge cut on his leg because he landed on a branch but we all ran like crazy and didnt look back, to this day (im 37) when i talk with my friends about it, we still have no idea of what that light could had been, the mansion was literally in the middle of the jungle, nothing but darkness around.

  • The most paranormal thing I've ever witnessed with my own 2 eyes was in The Dalles, Oregon. I was working in some cherry fields with my family and we were staying in some cabin/studio in the mountains for the employees. It was just a mid sized open living room connected to the kitchen, no hallways. We were all sitting in the living room watching TV one weekend night with the lights off, then we all saw a shadow humanoid figure physically open the bathroom door and walk in, then close the door and never came back out. We didn't pay any mind to it until my cousin got up to use the bathroom, knocked, noticed the light wasn't on, opened the door, then he paused for a second, turned around and said, "You guys just watched someone walk into the bathroom too right?" We all got chills and sat in silence trying to figure out what the hell we just saw. When 4 people all see the same thing, there's no denying it's not real.

    • Yup, i remember being at home with my cousin watching Adult swim in my parents room (parents went out to a party with friends) Nothing much happened until maybe around 1 or 2 am past midnight my cousin is asleep and I'm still up. (Parents didn't come home till 4 am) I closed the door and locked it cause the hall way was super dark and looked like an abyss and felt like something was watching me, then I could hear multiple people whispering on the other side of the door, like multiple whispers, not just one person, sounded like 4 or 5 ppl whispering, I jumped on the bed and covered me and my sleeping cousin with the blanket and I peaked out and the whispering got louder, then the door knob started slightly shaking just a little like something was trying to come in. I told myself that maybe I'm just delusional and forced myself to sleep even tho I wasn't even tired cause I took a nap earlier that day, i also tried to believe that maybe people broke in. Found out later that our neighbors were a family of exorcists and the casted demons roam the neighborhood. Makes sense cause I experienced more around the neighborhood like our school and even the preschool. Terrifying.

  • I've had quite a few "paranormal" experiences but theres one in particular that i unfortunately cannot explain away. Anyways, the story goes: one day me and my buddies had a sleepover and the house which we all stayed at was very old, built early 1800's, old decrepit basement, extremely creepy but i was around 15 years old and never even thought about ghosts, so i was never really scared. I was a skeptic and to this day i still am. i had stayed over there many times before and had been told by his dad and him that the house was haunted and they had seen things in the house but i never really thought anything of it. so, fast forward to the sleepover in question, it was the next day after the sleepover andeveryone had left the house except for me and my one buddy because my friends dad had taken him and his little brother to hockey. his dad let us stay behind and just hangout until their hockey was over. it wasn't out house so we were respectful and what not but we were upstairs in the house listening to extremely loud rap music and freestyling/rapping and just fucking around etc. me and my friend are sitting on the opposite side of the room and out of the corner of our eye we see a glass of orange juice that was on a table about 15 feet away from us goes flying off. we instantly reacted and the moment it happened their dog came up and started going crazy barking at something. me and my buddy freaked the fuck out and ran out of my friends house and waited on the front porch. we called his mom to come over and wait for our other friends dad to come back from the hockey practice with the boys. genuinely this story is impossible to explain away because there was another person there who witnessed the exact same thing. it still fucks with my head to this day, im not religious and ive always been a skeptic but that experience gives me the chills. one more. about two months ago i moved into my sisters house with her and her husband because my mom passed. from the day i moved in my sister and her husband told me they think the house might be haunted. their reasoning being that a subway sandwich had been thrown off their kitchen counter. they both seemed pretty adamant about it, but again to this day im very skpetical so i didnt believe them tbh. anyways, the whole time i lived there i would fuck around and walk around saying things like "wow this ghost sure is boring" "this ghost cant do anything" basically just talking shit. fast forward to a day where im by myself at the house. im walking around talking to myself and in the back of my head im always now thinking theres a ghost around so i keep talking shit and seeing if it would do anything. i go upstairs and put on some youtube and im sitting there watching and suddenly i paused it just to check my phone and the moment i paused i heard a fucking childs toy go off from downstairs(they have a baby) keep in mind this was after i had talked all this shit about how it didnt exist and how it couldnt do anything. im ngl it scared the life out of me. but it's weird because i would walk around the house at like 4am almost everynight(i be eating alot of snacks) and nothing would happen.

  • Paranormal comes in so many shapes One day i was in a park with my friend and we were having a casual conversation on a bench. I was about to reply to him and i swear to god the words that came out of my mouth wasn't what i wanted to say. We were just going back and forth, i dont remember the subject, but i litteraly told him instead : 'you are going to burn me with your cigarette'. the words litteraly flew out of my mouth instead of what i wanted to say. He then turned to me and said 'what?' because he didnt hear me well and by doing the motion to face me he accidently burned me with his cigarette. that was some insane matrix hindsight that just happened in a moment of grace. i cant explain it. Never something like that ever happened to me after that. truly mind blowing stuff when it happens to you. i used to work as a security guard in a little island park close to the city, it was a very popular place and many many people would go there and there would be events and music festival all summer. one night, at like 11 pm, there were still people around but the park was slowly closing. i was sitting in my patrol car and i just looked up in the sky and i saw this... giant rocket thing in the sky. it was looking very crude, cartoonish almost, like the red rockets in the roadrunner show that the coyote always use. it looked somewhat like a short and bulky arrow, almost like when you draw a house with just a square and a triangle roof. and it was big. Really reallly big for me to see so clearly in the sky. And there was this unbelievable trail of spark like when you light a stick on a birthday cake. i stood there looking at it for a good 5-10 seconds before it disapeared into the tree line and i remember telling myself: 'i am going crazy! i am hallucinating!! this cant be real!'. It wasnt the high tech alien space craft youd think about when hearing UFO stories, quite the opposite in fact, it was the crudest giant rocket you could think of with a huge trails of sparkles. Impossible such a thing would exist, even less fly! to this day i still think i must have hallucinated it or something because that thing defied all the laws of physics and common sens and if it was real i guess many people would have seen it. i never talk about this to anyone unless we are sharing paranormal stories because it is so dumb and weird. By far my worst and most terrifying experience happened after i just got back from vacation with my girlfriend. i was a regular on marijuana but i didnt want to get in trouble in another country so i just didnt smoke for the week we were there. first evening when we came back i go to smoke before going to bed with my girl. i was trying to sleep, everything normal. And then all of a sudden i heard the loudest 'HEY!' like someone just shouted in my ear. that totaly waked me up and i looked around in the dark. my girl was asleep, no sound and in the darkness i could see a huge shadow in the dark standing in front of the closed door, right where we kept our dressing gown on a hook. i wasnt sure if there was someone or it was just the clothing but i started feeling this ominous, corrupting, totaly evil presence in the room. i was litteraly scared shitless. i have never been so afraid in my whole life. not just scared, straight up intimidated. Dominated. i felt powerless. i closed my eyes, i refused to look at the thing. i put all my thoughts into my loved one, litteraly trying to 'fight' this evil with good. i felt my body slowly lift up in the air, like a jedi was using the force on me. it felt like i was two feet above the bed, and then i started spinning on the Y axis, litteraly phasing into the bed and out. i kept thinking about my girlfriend but i didnt dare to open my eyes or wake her up. When i woke up the next morning i told her everything and got on the internet researching hallucination and stuff. i found out that many people report hearing stuff or having spatial issue after going on a plane trip, and smoking pot after a week of withdrawal can lead to alot of issues too. did a demon try to possess me? maybe. Did i hallucinate everything because of the plane and the weed? maybe. Am i crazy? Maybe... These three thing happened within 15 years, more or less 5 years in between each event. Reading all these interesting testimony in the comments got me thinking about my own experiences and i realize i had my fair share of inexplicable event. Just wanted to share it with strangers on the internet

    • You think you was in midair spinning like a beyblade?

      @LiterallyRiggtarded@LiterallyRiggtarded Жыл бұрын
    • All of those things are classic signs of advanced aliens experimenting with you psychologically or biologically. They can manipulate spacetime with their technology. The levitation with rotation (though in most cases the rotation isn't quite as you describe) and yourself and the visitors passing through solid objects. In the presence of a dark figure (a semi-visibility cloak to hide their identity, perhaps from our militaries or other aliens on Earth who are opposed to their activities) and a sometimes imposed-feeling sense of dread. All these are commonly reported worldwide in overt abductions and "sleep paralysis" (covert abductions), with missing time or sedation for the parts you don't remember. Telepathy is extremely common with abductions both overt (i.e. when they don't bother making the event seem like a parasomnia to us, or like one of our superstitions such as the incubus or witchcraft, and take people wide awake and active outside without any cloaking of their bodies or craft) and covert ("sleep paralysis"). Brain hacking to control words and actions, I.e. "possession" is less common but still documented. For example, look up the audio, translations and context of the case of the Mexican pilot Rafael Pacheco Perez in the 1970s, who forcibly channeled aliens to air traffic control, including speaking languages the pilot did not know, implying that the aliens have a real time translation device or use their telepathy to translate thoughts to any language and vice versa. There is also the case of George Kowalczky: a mass sighting of a UFO crash from which emerged aliens that looked like bigfoots (they were a large bipedal hairy mammal with glowing eyes in the dark - a good design for brains and brawn so probably a fairly common phenotype among high tech species in the universe) and they too seemed to "possess" a man, making him act bizarrely and vocalise like they did. Thirdly, Bryce Zabel, movie producer and screenwriter, tells that military officers showed up at his private party for the launch of his fictional alien TV show, and offered advice on how to make it more accurate, including the method of possessing people that the aliens used: "that's not how they do it". They were disappointed that he didn't agree to make changes for future episodes. Waking you up might have been accidental, as their technology can induce delirium on and off on demand, so they might have left your brain delirious for a second as you were emerging from their sedation, causing you to have an auditory hallucination that woke you up, after returning you to your bed. Alternatively, sometimes when they seem to frighten us on purpose I think the intention is to check whether the remote paralysis inducement is working before they dare approach. And some groups of ETs have to get close to you or look you in the eye to induce the sedation or memory loss, hence the last thing people remember before snapping out of it is often the cloaked or uncloaked alien being on top of them or staring them in the eye. I think that moment is when the memory loss or sedation is induced. "This is a gift from some friends out of town." "It will isolate the impulses in your brain, specifically the ones for memory." "Look into this red eye..." Agent K, Men in Black. Many insiders have said that media producers are often given tips by military and intelligence officers on real ET history and phenomena so that the public gets educated without knowing it is true until and unless they ever need to. That movie is said to be one of the most accurate depictions of what goes on. I don't think they gave the neuraliser a "red eye" by coincidence. The red eyes of cloaked or uncloaked aliens are commonly used to paralyse or give the impression of missing time in overt abduction accounts as well as "sleep paralysis".

  • I moved a lot with my mother as a child. When I was 6 we moved into a house. We had a hallway connecting a bunch of rooms, and every morning we would wake up to all the books from a book case laying on the floor. One night I woke up and was going to the bathroom and just as I passed the bookcase all the books "flew" off the shelf and onto the ground, as if someone had pushed them all, at once, from the back of the book case. I freaked and ran to my mother's room. I lived with my father until she moved a couple months later. I was really badly shaken, as I connected the books on the floor with my experience seeing them fly off. My mother blamed it on a crooked bookshelf and told me they were just sliding off in the night, but that's not what I saw and she never wanted to talk about that house again. I have had other experiences with the paranormal, but this one haunts me to this day and if I see a book lying on a floor I get flashbacks seeing them fly off that bookshelf.

    • Ive had quite a few paranormal experiences but you have reminded me of one of the weirdest. I was 14/15 and sat in my bedroom with my decks and vinyl (I DJed from a young age, trance and stuff) and I was gawping off into space when my eyes were basically drawn down to one of the sleeves on the floor and it basically skidded and turned a few feet. I was pretty shocked and knew it was not a breeze as was evening with no windows open in our fairly small house. Plus the way my eyes were drawn to it and it moved like it was some weird communication, it was freaky I remember it so clearly..goosebumps or what!!!. Other thing is at the time I had very hippy friends who claimed they could see ghosts when stoned and one of the hippies even spoke my name into my mind one night!!! No shit as I said a lot weird experiences...maybe I should write a book. My dad who left when I was small and died a few years later was big into the paranormal too, he spent years travelling around villages in the cotswolds in England...he made a living drawing and painting old houses..no wonder he was a believer!

We lived in an apartment so I could hear the voices of my family members talking in the living room as I balled my eyes out. As I was crying, I noticed a tall dark figure with a grin looking straight at me through the crack. • I worked at a place called Dreamworld in Australia, Gold Coast, I had many experiences while doing night shifts there. The strange things that happened to me were all documented in the Security Guards log for years before, all exactly the same as mine. That freaked me out, the Supervisor thought it was hilarious, pages and pages for years on end of the exact same happenings. A few notable ones were children's laughter in the Nickelodeon park, so distinct and loud @ 2am. The Icecream store on Main Street which had one door in and out that was locked by me at closing, a proximity alarm goes off so I investigate, I open the door to find every single item from the shelving on the floor , @3am. Check CCTV absolutely nothing but fuzzy static and then clears to show the last few bags drop on the ground. After an event one night while travelling back on the train tracks by golf buggy, my manager and I round the corner to see someone standing in our office window on the second floor of Central Block. I ask him do you see that ? he states I have the only key to our office how did she get in there !, we park the buggy, run up the stairs to find the door locked and lights off in the office. @ 2 am. One last one of many more, while in the loading bay Security office I see a person walking the fence line just outside adjacent to the carpark on the bank of CCTV monitors. I look up and see the person stop in front of the gates, look at me, I see it with my naked eyes, then watch as it passes through the gate and towards White Water World on the other side. This happens every few weeks, sometimes @ 3am or 2am. All of these few things are logged and documented dozens and dozens of times to many people. Years later I work with a guy for 3 years at my new Uni job, one night he tells me he worked at Dreamworld too, tells me 3 things that happened to him exactly the same as mine, and many different ones. Place is a hotbed of action, and in the Top 5 most haunted places in Australia.

  • Here is a cool story that started my belief in spirits/ghosts: My mom moved to a new house that I lived at for like 10 years. I would play piano in the basement a lot. I never believed in ghosts or spirits before this, but I would play the piano and get the feeling someone was downstairs in the room. A couple times I played piano, I heard items shift behind me in the basement just to run around thinking someone is there. The real crazy story starts when one day I was playing with a group of musicians in the basement. No one was playing the piano the group. While playing, I would randomly catch piano notes being played. At one point it got so bad I stopped the practice and was like "guys does anyone else hear the piano notes?" which everyone said yes to. Than a little bit later, another musician who was running late comes walking down the stairs and says "Is your house haunted or something?" We all in disbelief ask why, and he said the lights are flickering on and off upstairs. We all went up and of course nothing was happening, nor had that ever happened in the past or ever happened again. I later that day asked my mom if anyone had died in the house. Apparently the last resident died in the house! Things you think your mom would tell you.. After that whenever I played piano I liked to think I was playing to a listener! It created a peaceful feeling and energy to the room whether it was true or not. Not all ghost stories are bad.

    • Visiting my uncle in Trinidad one year, I got my confirmation. I was laying in bed, reading my tablet under the mosquito net. The only people in the house apart from me was my uncle and cousin. My Uncle had a futon in the next room over that he slept on and everytime he got up you could hear the creaking of the metal frame. My cousin's room was down the hall. He made a bunch of noise whenever he emerged from his room. So on this particular night, it was quiet. It was late and I just wanted to read a few minutes before I went to sleep. The door handle to my room was very creaky. So as I suddenly heard this handle begin to squeak. ....I shout "who's that?!". No answer. It begins to open, I shout louder "WHO'S THAT?!"... The door opens up! My Uncle heard me on the 2nd Who's That, so he jumps up the same time I get up because the door opened completely. This was a rickety door too. Not only did the handle squeak n creak, the bottom of the door dragged the carpet. So we both met in the hallway and there was no one there. My Uncle wasn't shocked by the incident at all. He himself experienced weird things in that house. This all took place after my Aunt passed away in their front yard. Not saying it was her....just saying.

One night I saw a shadow run through the lights that illuminated the patio. Annnnd it scared tf outta me because I jumped back thinking it was a person running towards me. Until I saw nobody was outside. That same unit tho . Doing my rounds in the senior side . I had noticed festive decor while walking the halls and on one particular door I saw a “ do not disturb “ sign . I kept walking and thought to myself “ imagine a dead body and nobody knows “ now mind you it’s like 3am I’m tired . But as I’m walking down the end of the hall to get the elevator.. in the window I see a black figure behind my reflection … and I hurry tf up and go and I’m like frantically pressing the buttons for the elevator to close . I chose to wait in my car until 5 and go home. The next evening the coroner is at my job . And the body came from the same floor I had seen the shadow . 😅😅😅😅 I quit

  • I worked as a custodian in a casino which has 4 sets of washrooms located on pretty much every corner of the gaming floor and one of the washrooms doesn't get much attention from the patrons but we'd clean it anyways. Well, within my first weeks of working there I noticed that the women's side of the washrooms which doesn't get much attention would always give me an eerie feeling as if someone was watching me and I found it strange and interesting because none of the other washrooms did that even the men's side right next to it. Well, one day I was cleaning that set, I go in the men's and check to see if anyone is in there before I close it off( I'm a male), nobody's in there, boom easy. I get to the women's entrance and before I get to call out if anybody's inside I hear the toilet flush, followed by the faucet, and then the paper towel dispenser so I immediately assume someone's in there and back off and wait. Well, almost ten minutes go by and no one leaves the washroom and so I get pretty impatient at this point because I have other things to do so and so I make my presence known and call out "Facilities, anybody in here!?" no one answers, call out again, no one answers, and again (it's pretty common for people not to answer to the first one but after the third call out it's not), and so I say "coming in!" and as soon as I enter it's dead quiet, no one is in here and so I immediately followed up with "Oh no one's in here, just ghosts I guess" as a little joke to myself lmao, and from then on I always joked and talked to myself in that bathroom just to break the weird tension I had everytime I walked in there, and also I find that the less scared you are and the less you pay attention to whatever this energy-spirit shit is then the less weird shit will happen to you. Another few weeks go by, and I'm in the stock room organizing our new inventory and tools. One of the older custodians walks in and starts doing the same with another younger custodian and they're just killing time and then the older one sees a name written on a piece of paper of a previous employee and says "Oh! I remember her! She used to work here when we first opened... She absolutely refused to go into this one washroom." and Immediately I turn around and go "You talking about the women's washroom beside ____?" and she goes "Yup! Did you experience something too?" and right then we started talking about our stories and turns out every custodian has their own story about that specific women's washroom. Interesting how we all found out early on our own without any warnings from the other custodians. There's so much more to tell but this is already wayy too long.

  • To this day I'm not sure if I had a paranormal experience or not. My sister and I were sitting on my bed in our room watching something on my laptop and our bedroom door opened. That was a pretty normal occurrence because the doorknob was busted and we had a lot of scarves hanging on the door that messed with its weight distribution so an air pressure change between the room and the hallway would open it and we had the window in the room open. What was abnormal was what happened after that. Ironically we had been watching Supernatural and I decided to be facetious and make a joke over the door opening. I said "Hey Mr. Ghost, you know its rude to leave a door open so if you could close it we'd appreiciate it." and then to mine and my sister's horror, the door swung closed. And that NEVER happened. We ALWAYS would have to get up to close it which was also somewhat the origin of my jest because neither of us wanted to get up to close it. I like to think it was somehow the breeze in our room from the cracked open window, but it was still creepy lol

    @Bryndela@Bryndela Жыл бұрын
    • This is probably due to pressure/wind in a room. Have you ever been in a room where a door slam shuts? why? there was probably another door or window in the room that’s open and in result the door will close quickly (idk the science) just search it up. Probably just coincidence that it happened at the same time you said

  • I lived in a apartment complex that was haunted. My sons high chair would go flying across the room on its own. A spoon that was in a bowl of mashed potato’s went flying into the wall across the room by itself in front of us. My mom set up a little prayer area with Jesus & Mary in a bedroom because that bedroom door Would get locked all by itself with no one in there. One day my little sister and I were on the couch talking. We both saw someone who looked like my older sister walking from our kitchen into the hallway toward the bedrooms. We said Jeanine shouldn’t u be at work? She didn’t answer. She was wearing a white tank top & red/white shorts. She suddenly walked through a closed door. My sister and I started screaming and holding each other. We couldn’t believe what we just saw. One night my mom got a phone call from my older sister. She said ma leave the door unlocked I’ll be home Soon. My mom unlocked the door and laid on the couch waiting for her. All of a sudden my mom hears someone coming up the stairs. Someone opens our door then opens the refrigerator and goes walking towards the bedrooms. My mom calls out but no one answers… suddenly the phone rings and it’s my older sis saying did u unlock the door? I’m coming now my mom started panicking she said someone came in the house I thought it was u. Stop messing with me Jeanine please. It wasn’t my sister & no one entered my apartment.

  • I used to live in a haunted house 10+ years ago that was built back in the Victorian times. There would be knocks, footsteps, ringing of the doorbell with a different old tune to what it was originally set as, things going missing/getting moved. We also used to capture Orbs on camera. (We still have these pictures to this day). After years of living there, we moved out and we now live in a newly built house and have been the first family living here for 8+ years. In this new house, I have had 2 personal experiences that have targeted me and only me. I’ve seen the infamous ‘Hat Man’ shadow figure in the reflection of my walk in wardrobe. I woke up in the middle of the night (which i usually do anyway) and just felt a presence, and I see this 7/8ft shadow standing, wearing a trench coat and top hat, but the shadow was fully black, had no features. After turning the light on and freaking out, it eventually had gone, but for years I never ever knew this was an infamous shadow Man and it’s only as of recent that I know I’ve defo seen him in my room. I just want to confirm, I’ve never ever had sleep paralysis and I was defo not paralysed when I saw this as many say he’s a sleep paralysis demon. My second experience (I’m hoping to be more of a good experience) I was in bed watching KZhead and it was like 8:30pm, and I hear 4 distinctive knocks coming from my wooden mirror stand (which is on my window sill). I sat up, said wtf out loud, but in that time, nothing happened so I just went back to watching KZhead. A few moments later, I hear my duvet rustling, and feel a weight laying down next to me on my right hand side, as this was happening, I turned my head to my right and saw a white mist with twinkling flashing white lights all over it, and it was so so so hot in temperature! I freaked out, ran out my room screaming for mum and dad and ran downstairs, during this though I felt weird, it was like I was watching myself run from a POV, but at the same time had this overwhelming feeling of happiness. When I was downstairs telling my parents, I was freezing, couldn’t get warm, the cat and dog were looking around me/above me, not coming near me at all and acting weird. To this day, I’m still not sure what that was laying next to me in bed, whether it was a loved one or guardian angel, or something sinister (which I don’t think it was).

So there I was, starting to drift away when I heard a very faint "pst". It sounded very soft and I didn't think much of it. I just thought if it was my friend calling me she'd see I had my eyes alteady closed so she'd stop. Then I heard it again."Pst." This time it was louder and I was sure it's from inside the room. I still had my eyes closed that time and did not bother opening because I really was sleepy. But then a loud, third one came. "PST." I opened my eyes as soon as I heard it as it was almost right by my ears. I froze when I realize what was happening. There was no one in the room but me. Lol. It was at the same that I remembered all those stories my friend told. Lol. I quickly got up and ran downstairs. It aws just knocking all over the place on my walls.>Sounded like it was form the inside..We checked outside the house to make sure nothing was able to tap or whatever. Nothing, and it was doing it right by our heads sometimes, and it would do it when we quit talking about it. It was intense.

You've just informed evil people, dark powers, and principalities that you don't know God. Satan took Jesus to a high place and offered Him all the kingdoms of the earth if He bowed. The devil controls this fallen world, everything from religion to government. He starts wars, and ends them...and you just asked for the 3 main things the devil will try to offer in exchange for your faith in the Most High.

  • I've had some weird encounters at the facility that I work at. I've heard voices of children giggling. I've felt a presence stand near me and I had goosebumps all over me. People at work kept saying, Oh that's a good thing because these souls want to reach out and communicate with you. I don't know about you but I don't want any communication with anything that's not alive! I always pray to God because you don't know if these souls will attach itself to you and come home to haunt you!

  • I am a sensitive and grew up in haunted houses. About 30 years ago my high school had our prom at the Queen Mary. I knew nothing about the history as I had only moved to SoCal 2 years earlier. It was one of the creepiest experiences I have ever had. I could only stay on the ship for about 30 minutes then I had to go. I have had paranormal experiences my entire life. My advice to Sam & Colby or anyone venturing into dealing with the paranormal is to always protect yourself spiritually, especially before entering any known places that has paranormal activity. Always cleanse yourself with sage or palo santo after leaving because there are things/beings that can follow you home. I now live in Massachusetts and have been to several places like Salem and even friends homes that have strong paranormal energy and I always cleanse before I even get in my car. You don’t want to deal with the repercussions of dealing with negative energies, I say this from experience. In my almost 50 years dealing with this I could tell you stories that you only see in movies, television, and in nightmares. Please be careful and have discernment. I hope this helps someone. ❤

    • The problem is people en masse need empirical evidence, usually, to really believe that stuff. I for one am fascinated about the unknown phenomenon regarding spirits and poltergeists, yet have experienced zero and I mean zero evidence to prove its existence. That being said I believe it may be true and not just some weird human construct pack mentality we exhibit to be apart of the group. I have family members who say they've seen spirits and while I love them don't believe what they saw was real but rather hallucinations or things they convince themselves they saw. Like some people say they've spoke to God. I personally feel they are just talking to themselves. Their moral compass tells them what's right and wrong and they interpret that as "speaking" with God. But I believe some people have captured real footage of spirits in rooms or cemeteries. It's just difficult to decipher which or authentic and which are hoaxes.

    • You sounded reasonable right up until you talk about cleansing with sage. That's demonic witchcraft. Jesus Christ is Lord, His Holy Name drives away demons, and they're conquered by His cross. And I'm not telling you what I believe. I'm telling you exactly what weapons I've used in dealing with a nasty demonic poltergeist that attached itself to me BECAUSE I was playing with the exact same stupid esoteric witchcraft nonsense that you are, sage and crystals and dumb stuff. Girlfriend, find Jesus. And then you'll probably find out that you actually do have negative attachments, because they won't like it once you turn religious. That's when they get provoked out into the open.

  • One scary experience… About 5 years ago when I was 15 years old I lived in a homestead with about 5 acres of property. Now I was living in Pennsylvania and the property was in the middle of miles of miles trees and nature. My school was 25 mins away by car and the local store was 15 minutes away. My mother at the time has left to the local store. I was in the house alone for a while, but even though it was nighttime and everything was dark i still wanted some snacks. Next to my kitchen there is a little step way into the fireplace room. I go into the kitchen to get my snack. i usually always look out the kitchen window to see fog surrounding the area with the moon as the only light source reflecting off the ground, but I heard something move in the fireplace room. It sounded like the metal tools to use for the fire, as i’m looking at total darkness in the room all I hear, CLEAR as day is my mothers voice, calling me to “come here”. I heard the voice once. It was loud and very unwelcoming. It sounded exactly like my mother but it sounded eager to pull me in. I instantly ran upstairs to my room. Never staying home alone in a house again😀

  • Years ago I was cycling on a narrow pathway through a field next to a graveyard with 2 other friends single file about 1am in the morning, all 3 of us had bike lights so we had fairly decent visibility despite it being pitch black. We were approaching a bend on the path which was right in front of the graveyard entrance, as we got closer I could see a woman standing beside the gate.. she was barefoot, wearing what looked like a hospital gown, her hair was covering her face and her skin looked pale. I was cycling in the front so my light lit her up first as I rode past, then the same for my friend who was cycling in the middle, but when my mate at the back rode past.. she wasn't there. We spoke about it afterward and all 3 of us saw what happened, ill never forgot that.
