Houston investigators are praising two off-duty officers who fired back at a woman who opened fire inside Pastor Joel Osteen's Lakewood church. Her 7-year-old son and a 57-year-old man were wounded in the gunfire, but it's unclear who fired the shot that hit the boy. The suspect has a history of mental illness and a criminal background. Plus, a hit-and-run crash in Gardena leaves a 5-year-old boy dead. Also, Donald Trump has asked the Supreme Court to suspend a ruling on his immunity claims in a 2020 election case.

  • It is all about bad design that creates roadways that make it more comfortable to speed, distracted drivers, as well larger vehicles that are quieter, smoother on the road faster. Something has to give, either it takes longer for people to drive places or you just accept the fact that senseless deaths like this will continue to occur.

    • You are so wrong. First gun stores are required to run back ground checks and must run through FBI databases. Gun stores can also decline people from sales of firearms as well if they suspect any thing suspicious with the buyer and will even blacklist the buyer from other gun stores in the area as well. The only way felons or criminals are able to obtain firearms is from ghost guns/black market or even through straw buying(is very illegal to do).
