Ryan Callaghan teams up with First Lite’s Casey Hawkes, to hunt wigeon and mallards on the big water. The skies and rivers are full of ducks, but it’s the end of the hunting season and the birds are call and decoy shy. It's up to Cal and Casey to find the best spot, present the best decoy spread, and make the shots count on this heavily hunted public water. This is public land waterfowl hunting at its finest. Presented by @FirstLiteHuntingApparel and @yeticoolers.

Great hunt, the bantering back and forth is what makes any hunt! 🇨🇦
I don't always miss a duck, but when I do, I miss it all 3 times.😂😅
That should be duck huntings headline
I felt that "Big talker over here" a little different after the first shot & then "You can send her Cal" 😂😂
I normally don't get excited to see people in the spots I frequently hunt lol but seeing cal-meateater in my local river is awesome. SNORT!
What state is this in?
You forgot “Hollywood!” For a shovelers nickname 😂
Meat eaters duck hunting videos are the best. No guides. Just a couple of bids out running around freelancing it on public. The way it should be.
Keep up the good work Cal
I guess duck hunters and houndsman have something in common. Watching that Lab swim to those ducks was pretty awesome.
Spoonies are beautiful birds
Great video as always. Mahalo for sharing
Another great video.
Good afternoon from Syracuse NY and Happy New Year everyone
Very cool. I love hunting river ducks.
This is the life of adventures
18:47 Catch and release. Well done.
4:05 .....tense.
What Choke was they using in this video?
great video, whats that panel blind?
What collar are you running on Snort?? 5:23
Wonder who makes them waders? Lol
Hello, I am writing from Turkey, nice hunt, thank you. How many grams of hunting cartridges do you use? What is the temperature?
Great video, i am looking forward to getting back on the water after a year of not hunting. Our move from TX to AK made me put hunting on hold for a season as we got our residency requirements met. Now, with the requirements met we are rolling into 24 with many hunts already planned
Definitely the Snake River in S. Idaho, I don’t quite consider it the central flyway though
I thought maybe the platt
There aren't any duck on the platt this year buddy@@Bugbee86
i love the people who try to teach them how to hunt in the comments lmaooo
Click….duck hunting nightmare lol
That blue hood the guy was wearing gave away their blind Everytime. Why would he wear that?
👍🇧🇷
M’lards
Very much looks like Snake River in Idaho
That'll spoil a man
if the dogs release word is her name, don't say it before you tell her to sit or heel. its like your telling her to go and sit at the same time. just confusing the dog.
I never understood why people use their dogs name to send for a retrieve
@davidlaunderville4416 I didn't know any different so that's how my dogs are trained. If it's a bird they seen fall I use their name and if it's a blind then I use back. If I had to do it all over again I would have probably used ok for the release.
@@davidlaunderville4416 So you have two different words for each dog? He's hunting multiple dogs.
Yeah I don’t get that. I was thinking the same thing
28 & 410 are highly inefficient Coming from a guy whose retriever doesn't retrieve 🤔 I think you might want to stick with your mate a bit more.... He's right you know? You need to work your birds in like a civilised being (😂😂 top remark btw) and at those distances 410&28 are all you need. For longer distances Tungsten makes 410 as good as 12 at a fraction of the price....
Furst
No cook up.. disappointing
Work your dog off a leash...do not allow it to keep making the same mistakes. That makes it your fault not his.
Say "ta - ka - ta - ka" when you feed call. Not whatever humming mess you were making.
Cal you need some lessons, the way you hold the shotgun is so wrong - take a lesson
There is more than YOUR way to do things. He hunts for a living. I think he knows what he’s doing.
Guys I do not watch hunting videos fro the "friendly banter" nor hunting advice.. I watch to see "kill shots" yours are too hard too see. JMO
