  • Leach the reason I became a fan of TTECH and college football. Everyone did a boring run game. Not this pirate he swung his sword and won games even when down by 3 Tds. What happened with his firing was awful F Adam and Craig James. I definitely remembered that Alamo bowl.

      @lupowins@lupowins Жыл бұрын
    • that was all bullcrap. Craig James an espn person and craig james’s spoiled son complained about getting punished and Texas Tech administration majorly majorly over reacted and fired him. I was there at that time. The majority of students really hated the dbag Meyers guy who was the TTU athletic director in the pocket of the spoiled rich boy who was like, a third stringer and his ESPN talker daddy who had previously been exposed for taking bribes at SMU in the 1980’s. Then that crappy athletic director turned around and hired Flommy Flubberville to be the next coach and everybody hated him too. I say this as a TTU alumni who loves TTU but really hated that shitty athletic director who did that to Leach.

      @nozrep@nozrep Жыл бұрын
    • and because Craig James was with ESPN, ESPN took his side and made it seem like people turned on Leach which is probably what you heard when in fact it was a shitty spoiled third stringer rich boy and his espn daddy and a Texas Tech administrator who had it out for Leach before the supposed incident anyways and used it as the excuse to over react and fire him

      @nozrep@nozrep Жыл бұрын
    • It was like politics. 90+% loved Leach. 10-% were pious prudes that didn't understand his antics. We depended on a court of law to right the damage. The crooked judge we waited so long for to make things right chose to side with the elitists. Our opposition (Hance) ran an insurgency, stacking the deck with new, salacious material regularly. A lot of people didn't know what to think. Tell me the increase in Hance's net worth after he fired Leach until he retired?
