I was thinking the same! I googled the prices and the Sisley cream is around 100€ ($110) and the La Mer lip balm around 50€. There are way pricier products out there (like $500 creams…), but still she knows that those are expensive for what they are
I wish she wouldn't mention money at all actually. She does not need to; she's trying to be woke by tge acknowledgement but it's not necessary. We all know beauty products are very expensive
@Aneesa H I kind of fail to see the issue in being woke about this thing. Beauty is expensive but the issue is when celebrities and influences do not disclose how expensive it is and then those easily influenced feel the need to get at those expensive products or they won't be beautiful. There's a variety of beauty products far cheaper than La Mer that are worth the money- by being 'woke' it actually puts a hamper on the 'influencing'. Wouldn't you say that's a good thing?

Could you give some detail about that? Would slugging with vaseline not be the same in principle?

I was surprised by how refreshing (and beautiful) it is to see a celebrity with animated facial expressions and no frozen eyebrows! It must be impossible for actresses under pressure to not age and yet at the same time show subtle + dramatic changes of expression for their job, so I don't mean to put down the celebs who do go for that. But it's a bit of a wake up moment to realise how used to seeing these altered faces I've become! She looks so beautiful ❤️

I love this woman. I had been talking about her weeks back with my cousin. She seems to be one of the few unproblematic actresses in Hollywood. I love her quirkiness, her voice and her teeth lol. Love that they're not perfect. Watched Pride & Prejudice a few weeks back. I'd love to see her on the screen again. Love the 'less is more' approach. It's what I live by too.
