I don't understand if they have water filtration tech better than ours then why does it matter than the ocean is polluted?
Yeah. I mean in the navy we were able to desalinate seawater. It can even be done in a similar fashion to a moonshine still. Heat the water, it turns to steam travels through a series of tubes or pipes and condenses into water. Of course you have filters and perhaps charcoal to remove any chemicals or debris. The heat takes care of most of that plus most of the contamination does not rise with the steam. You would think that this high tech species would be able to do this easily.

You can tell fairly easily what stories are written by AI, most likely ChatGPT.... You tend to find character names get repeated, regardless of whose channel you are listening to. For example, I have just finished listening to a story from the HFY Sci-Fi channel and it had an alien named Corvus. Now this kne has an alien character named Corvus!! You also tend to find that the context of a particular sentence tends to get repeated a number of times. The sentence may not necessarily be identical, but the overall context will be.

OMG! This story is so f-d up. It switches from 3rd person to 1st person and back. The chopper into a mountain lake, chopper gets wrecked and pilot injured, it's miles to a hospital but suddenly they are carrying the pilot into the alien's ship??? Garbage AI writing.

Good basic story line, badly written story with even worse audio reproduction. Get a human to rewrite it it, edit it, and re-re write it after the editing pay for a human to read it, and then you may have something to be proud of releasing. But most importantly, fire the AI as he sucks at the job,
