What I did when leaving my bag at Bell Service was put my Keepall into one of those $4 zippered IKEA blue bags. No one can see inside, it folds up neatly when I'm not using it and also great for storing any other stuff I may purchase last minute.

Ugghh, I love this keepall! The monogram eclipse is everything. Good tip on the Speedy 40, I never really thought about it! Honestly, I'm so paranoid leaving my luggage anywhere...so leaving luxury luggage would drive me insane haha!
LValiquette yes!!! A speedy 40 would be a great travel bag. I think I may consider it for future as a smaller travel bag, or maybe stick with the long champ le pliage! I think leaving it at a hotel all just depends on which hotel you are leaving it at, but I was so paranoid!

You brought up some excellent points on safety when it comes to the bag while travelling. I don't think I'd ever spend so much on any travel pieces, despite them being gorgeous. I think I would be more paranoid than you!

The Keepall 45 actually fits the measurements of the "Personal Item" though...Spirit's personal item allowance is 18" x 14" x 8" and the Keepall 45 is 17.8" x 10.7" x 7.9" so no need for anxiety :-)
Love the details. I have a few collections of LV but not of the luggage collection. I'm just looking for a weekend getaway bag. One that I can also not check-in during flights. My biggest dilemma is whether I really need one w/a strap or do they have straps included in all of them?

Hello Harley it’s beautiful! I was going to purchase the damier Ebene but I did some research on KZhead first and found that print.
It is so gorgeous! If they made more bags that were feminine in this pattern, I would be all about it! I found that my straps that run along the front started to crease, so I had my S/A ask to see if they could repair it, so mine is off to France again to be repaired!! But hopefully this doesn't happen again!
Hello Harley It probably will, as leather is skin. Hopefully you will see it as a beauty mark and still enjoy the bag. I have. ☺️

Hi! I’m not sure what collection this is, I don’t keep up too well with their collections! the orange sounds very bold and eye catching! Which would be good and bad depending on if you want to be seen or not. I’m sure it’s a really cool looking keepall, but the combo of the flashy orange and the bigger 55 size might draw more attention to you! Hope that helps!

Actually the 55 size is the max size carry on allowed on planes.
ma lillis You’re correct, though I think she is talking about the 45 as a “personal item” under the seat, rather than a “carry on” for the overhead bins. Though the 45 dimensions may work, the airlines say personal items should be purses, backpacks, or briefcases. It’s a bit arbitrary, but they have final say on board. I think that’s what she means saying it can be an issue. 😉

Hey! I also live in Toronto and travel Porter to New York monthly. Were you able to sneak it into the cabin or did they make you put it underneath the aircraft? Was it able to fit underneath the seat?
Conor Alexander I was able to get it through, but my flight was pretty empty. I think if I had stuffed it, they would have made me check it.
My problem is with their bag and shown in your bag, the left side of it isn’t properly cut and leaving out excess canvas
Will even the eclipse and damier graphite get Vachetta and show stains ?
Hi Tyler, since eclipse/ graphite/ Damier ebene do not come with vachetta leather (untreated leather), there aren’t any stains or water marks. Though the treated leather is more rigid so there are wrinkles that form. Hope that helps!
I’ve had that before in Italy, they just leave my luggage outside and not in the luggage storeroom hoping it would be stolen by someone it seems

Nope! It’s treated leather!

I agree I picked a 50 wanting it for travel and as a gym bag. It s a little large as a gym bag tbh.. at some point I might have to get a 45 😂
This modele doesn't exist in 50
LV doesn’t make “waterproof” bags. The Damier Ebene does much better to resist water stains, The 45 and 50 are allowable on airlines, the 55 is the biggest carry on size :)
If you look on the website they do have options which say waterproof in ( )
They are all "allowable" minus the 60 but she is referring to the personal item that is free and it cannot be larger than 18" in length. A regular carry on requires a fee with those small airlines.

I would check the airline measurements guide! I fly air Canada often and never had a problem as a personal item.

55 is the largest size you can take as a carry on, not 45.
Actually for all Canadian airlines, 45 is the size you can take for a personal item. I’m not talking about the carryon, since the luggage is what I usually carryon. Sorry if it wasn’t clear!

If you are that stressed out about your luggage bag on a trip, you probably can’t afford it. For me, I only care about the loss of my luggage by a flight for the sake of the inconvenience of buying new items if I have someplace important to go (business meeting or wedding, for example). If the financial loss makes you sick, you can’t afford it.
