Theme that plays when you fight Walhart the Conquerer and Gangrel the Mad King. Uggggh this game is so cool
Edit: Hey, thanks for all the views! I only made this because a lot of people don't have the awesome intro and it made me sad (Also it was like day 3 and nobody had really posted it yet.) But thanks guys! :D
"I will not be beaten by some farm boy prince" Guess what Alm started out as...
And guess who one of your units is lol
@@GenshinLover283 Mista Donnel, absolute GOD... oh yeah that Morgan person is pretty good too. My girlfriend got me this game and now I am absolutely addicted to it XD. I beat it within the first couple of weeks I had the game... on hard mode
@@JuBeoN Did you get FE Fates too? My first FE game.
@@danielmaster8776 My girlfriend also gave me Fates once she found out I was addicted to Awakening XD I prefer Awakening however, will have to play Fates soon enough
@@JuBeoN Hard is the actual "normal" of that game since "normal" is just laughably trivial. You should try Lunatic for a challenge or go with Lunatic+ if you want to torture your own soul.

@@CallofDutyBlackOps28 Oh, he definitely would.
You gotta respect the hustle.
Walhart becomes even more terrifying when you figure out who his ancestor is...
Edelgard?
Jay M no Alm
Jay M His ancestors are Alm and Celica from the Shadows of Valentia game. The continent he’s conquering is the same one you play on in that game as well (Valentia), it’s just it’s name has changed a few times over the centuries. Now it’s called Valm, just took the v from Valentia and stuck it in front of Alm’s name. Also no relation to Edelgard, though I really can’t blame your for that assumption. The similarities between their characters are almost uncanny.
Midas King I actually had no idea he was related to alm and Celica lol. I guess I should replay awakening it’s been a while xD
Liam Wilson yep! valm is the combination between valentia and alm , and it also explains grimas origins a bit more
People say this song doesn’t fit Gangrel but the first time I heard it, I thought of it more as the “avenging Emmeryn theme” and got massive chills
To me, as I understand it now it is less a "character" Battle theme and more of an "Idea" battle theme. Both Ganrel and Walhart Question Chrom's Ideals
@@nevrikxthat is true, they only challenged him in different ways. Gangrel mocked Chrom for his selflessness and faith in others, saying that all people are naturally only looking out for their own hides. Walhart basically called Chrom a puppet who couldn't think for himself, calling him out for the second-hand beliefs he didn't develop on his own. In both cases, they challenge Chrom's beliefs, and he grows because of it.
A man so fearsome even his crotch looks like a nightmare.
Now I can't usee it
Actually, he looks like he has a black thong on
😂😂😂😂😂
I remember when I first saw Walharts picture in the game I was like: "... WHAT? How the f*ck am I supposed to kill THAT THING?!" Great song for a great enemy :)
Anna When they realized that Walhart's 'force' coming from the north was literally just him by himself.

Drop-by from the future: This comment has never been more fucking relevant.
Using the skulls of minimum wage Meijer employees to construct his throne.
You know Walhart is one of those villains who do have a fair point. He was trying to unite the world. Having the conflicts now to have lasting peace later. Kinda like Napoleon. He also knew about Grima and did what he could to prevent hs return. He blurs the line between anti-hero and anti-villain
Dat profile picture do XD

" I will not be beaten by some farmboy prince. " Alm, after all he had done to bring nobles and peasants together to form a peaceful kingdom:
The Irony is TOO strong with this one.
Having Chrom beat Gangrel is so fucking satisfying.
And having Say'ri beat Walhart is just as good.
Tanooki Link What about Say'ri killing Excellus................... with Amatsu.
I killed him Virion, the first time. I'm was a bit disappointed there was no dialogue between them.
Meanwhile, I just had Lissa beat into Walhart how "not delicate" she is.....literally. With an axe to the crotch.
For me Chrome defeated gangrel by critting and saying "your end has come". It was perfection
0:38 "You're sexy." I keep hearing that. lmfao
Is it just me, or are people descendant from the Valmese (formerly Valentian) Royal Bloodline really tough? Mycen was everything Jeigan (FE1) should have been. Even in old age, instead of playing the role of a Jeigan, he's one of those beastly old men. King Rudolph, if not for the fact he cannot attack Alm, would be the strongest Fire Emblem boss of all time. (I'm pretty sure Walhart is modeled after him too. Not only in class, but his A.I.'s behavior. And the first place you fight Walhart is where Rudolph died.) Alm (whom Valm is named after) is one of the strongest Lord's in Fire Emblem History. Both durable and flexible. His dlc in this game as a dread fighter is a testament to his power. Then we have Walhart who was so powerful, he held his own against the entire world. He cheated death. And even aims to conquer the outrealms.
such is their style. peace through power. it's how Berukt goes Mad. he's a respectable guy, but gets jealous that he's not a strong prince his people needed him to be.
I'd honestly consider Mycen to be more of a Gotoh because of his join time.
5 reasons why Walhart would have been better than Validar. 1) He's more imposing of a figure than Validar, who imposes as much fear into you as a fly. 2) When you think about it, Walhart looks more like Robin's father than Validar. 3) He has so much will to live than even when his heart stops, he continues living. 4) He could have been trying to raise Grima so he could kill him himself. The battle with him could have been a battle of ideals, and he shows that he is able to manipulate Risen. 5) We wouldn't have had to keep resetting the game to prevent anyone from dying in the Paralogue where he's recruited!
Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
Awakening had shit writing, it's nothing new, really.
Yet the characters are so endorsing....wow. xD
6) Excellus could have been replaced with Grima. :3
I would have liked Walhart to be someone that tried to be the strongest of all, or some new imposing character, that just tried to revive Grima to find a challenge
Jesus... First time I saw him in game I knew he was bad ass. The guy takes up like the whole screen lol. Bad ass right here
one day Walhart fought Magus (chrono trigger) and the music that played was so epic that the very fabric of the universe split apart and remade itself 100 times until it was stable once more, this land was known as Hyrule.
What does Hyrule have to do with this video?:/
This sir, is the best comment I have seen in ages. You are awesome.

Omg yes
"Clinging to eachother won't save you maggots when the boot falls!"

And?
James Marshall so its the right person

Walhart is no doubt my favorite villain of the game, this theme is the embodiment of his character. "This is nature!" (sorry, just had to)
Walhart isn't exactly a ''villain''. He wanted to defeat Grima, but in another way. He wanted to unite the world forcibly, through his dark charisma and commanding presence. He is a Conqueror, the opposite of Chrom, the King, who aims to unite the world through compassionate charisma, compromise and companionship.
He's an antagonist, though, as he works in opposition to the hero. That being said, being an antagonist does not make you the villain automatically.
ok, I wouldn't exactly consider walhart a vliian or a hero, I consier him an anti-hero
On my first playthrough, I thought this was kinda unworthy of Gangrel, since he was such an easy fight and kill. Good thing Walhart was there to make this theme worth something.
***** Depends on how you approach him and in what difficulty. Lunatic+ he'll make you squeal.
Oh was I not good enough a fight for you or something?
Mad King Gangrel I obliterated you. Didn't expect you to survive, honestly. I was surprised when Chrom said you were alive when we were finding helpto fight Grima.
Tactician Robin You think a few lightning bolts can end this king? In your army or not, my reign lives on forever.
Mad King Gangrel yep, right down to your pityiful grave
The fearsome Walmart his deals will crush all his competitors.
now if only they can play this theme everytime u have walhart [ally] attack an enemy
Nope but you can at least be glad to know all the enemies are hearing it
*Walhart will build a wall to block all Ylisseans and make Valm great again.*
And have Plegia pay for it
This is not even funny
Ignore theses idiots who want to force their political hatred on a fanbase, They think their funny when their not.
Trump won, Hillary lost get over it, it's March and about to be April next, you and your hateful group have had enough time whining he will not divide us and he;s not my president (wonder where you pieces of waste were when W was in office, guess you all were to scared of happened to the Dixie chicks to show yourself), if your so fearful of the wall and trump try (and I really wish your kind would for once instead of trashing and burning things while acting like my Autistic 5 year old niece) beating him in an adult matter by making the country great in opposition to his method show how his methods won't work compared to yours, but no instead bullying and comparing "evil" characters to Trump is so mature, hence why the narcissistic (and I'm slowly becoming a supporter of said narcissist because of certain idiots actions both before and after he won) orange gramps is so popular cause his opposition is way worse in trying to get there way and aren't above hitting bullying and punching (opposite of the love and peace they so love spouting out from their pie holes) to get their way, but keep it up soon he'll be so popular and his supporters WILL start fighting back that NO ONE OPPOSED TO HIM WILL STAND UP TO HIM IN FEAR OF THE BACKLASH THEY'LL GET THAT HE'LL BE TRULY FREE TO DO AS HE WISHES, While I like his hands tied which limits what he can do so the stupid damaging stuff can't happen, I hate how minor things that really will have little to no lasting impact are being attacked and lied about, People are literally falling on their political/media ending swords if it means the slights chance he will fail or get impeached and end up sacrificed for nothing, Hell Obama can kiss any good will he might have had with the Wire Tapping business as even if he's found innocent they'll always be the large majority who believe he really did order it and they covered for him. so even if he truly is innocent it will follow him for any future political move he tries in the future. Enjoy your at the time of this reply 54 thumps up cause here's a thumps down for ya. Peace Out
and he'll make the Feroxians pay for it!
Glory is meeting your enemy's eyes & watching the hope drain away with his life! MOST BADASS VEGETARIAN EVER!
Villain 1: A thug king who murders the main character's sister for revenge after a massive war that destroy his people. Villain 2: A man who wants to forcibly unite the world by destroying religion. Villain 3: The father of the Avatar, and a cliche, "HAHAHAHA" villain who has no reason for his goals.
More like: Vilain 1: Half of Ashnard from Path of Radiance. Vilain 2: The OTHER half of Ashnard. Vilain 3: Just as you said. Yeah, FE:A did a lot of stuff right, but vilains was certainly not their cup of tea.
Gogito4 I dunno about the first one, but damn, you're spot on. xD
"This is nature."
Super ComicalBros somehow i was quite dissapointed with Validar...shit even Excellus pulled a better job at being someone you want dead.Gangrel was actually quite interesting but lame...in the end his insanity left him with only a handful of soldiers and was merely a nuisance. (he gets a bonus point for having Emm inside a cute crater, for sometime anyway). Walhart could be the generic villain too wanting to conquer the whole world and impose his laws and will, but they did give him a somewhat fair standing point as the other extreme that weights against Emmeryn's ideals. Strength above words, Feroxi diplomacy much?
TheTimestopper Yeah. Walhart was the more imposing villain.
Walhart: perhaps the most intimidating villain in the Fire Emblem series!
You forgot the Black Knight.
Walhart would be intimidating but the fact that it's awakening (aka second seals and access to grinding) makes both his fights so easy. I feel if he appeared in a game that didn't have grinding or second seals and developed his character more he would actually be a very memorable villain. At least he has an awesome battle theme.
fomortiis all the way. I thought i was screwed when I first saw him
He's up there with black knight and arvis
@@louieleon2605 playing in the classic sense without grinding is actually how I enjoy the game more. Watching Chrom best him with only 20 hp left cause he procced Aether on 1 hp will never not be my favorite Fire Emblem moment.
I think this theme should have been exclusive to Walhart personally. Gangrel was a great enemy, don't get me wrong! But I felt this theme didn't really fit the atmosphere of the fight, or Gangrel's attitude.
You are damn right! I love Gangrel, but instead of making it big and epic, they should have made his theme sound somehow sick and twisted, maybe a bit sad. Some dissonances maybe? ...I know this response is late.
BreakApfel This is also a late response :P but I think the only part of this song that fits Gangrel is the intro and the part at 0:49.
Even later reply, but I agree, something more akin to "Dancing Mad" from Final Fantasy would've been a better fit for Gangrel.
The theme for gangrel fits for me personally, because it is the idea that gangrel represents. Yes the fight wasn't difficult, but it was the peak of an arc in the story. You were finally taking down the guy who had caused so much misery. I suppose they could've played off the leitmotifs in a slightly less epic fashion, but I sorta enjoyed the fact that both had the same theme, it was a sorta final battle theme.
y'know what'd be a really cool theme Gangrel could've had? imagine a battle rendition of Power Hungry Fool perhaps a rendition of this kzhead.info/sun/a9SCdauAineVZKM/bejne.html
"Local warlord literally too angry to die"
Definitly one of my favorite soundtracks in the game.
Interesting how the Valentian Royal Bloodline went from Rudolf, to Alm, over a thousand years later, Walhart. At first, I could definitely see similarities between Rudolf and Walhart, two big, red, powerful kings kings on horses (with very cool, goosebump-inducing battle themes). However, I did not really see many simularities between Alm and Walhart, but then I realized Alm and Walhart do have some similarities. For example, both of these people’s end goals were to destroy the system of religion and gods and get the people to rely on themselves, just different ideas on how they would utilize this. And also how Alm and Walhart are VERY strong, both story-wise and especially gameplay-wise.
walhart In this scenario is probably another alternative timeline To win the shepherd's failed Walhart Was the one to challenge grima with his army even after death Probably the closest thing grima had to a contender on the battle field With a sort of this "earth isn't yours to conquer" vibe And considering the xenolog quest brought back to life his own soldiers as risen
How did alms descendant look like thi- oh yeah...his dad
I held down the SlowMo button a lot so i could hear this longer in game
my fight against gangrel: such a good song for such a crazy and easy villian to beat, ugh, WAY too easy for me, then walhart showed up and the song was fitting, honesylu, I feel like they gave gangrel this song because they ran out of time to give him one
Robin the tactican Sometimes they just decide, "We don't need that character to have his own battle theme, so let's make him share one with this other character." It's unfortunate, but it's not that big a deal for me.
Out of all of the villains or bosses you fight, which includes Aversa, Gangrel, Grima, Validar, etc, Walhart is probably my favorite. It isn't so much because he's cool (rather, his armour is a bit excessive imo), but he has interesting ideals and isn't a total douchebag. When he was holing himself up to meet his fate I was like: Mad respect. Funily enough I got more emotional over that than I did Lucina's moments. I'm strange. I also loved adding him to my team... Lastly, this theme clearly suits Walhart better.... I didn't even know it played for Gangrel because he died too fast all the time. :I And yes, most badass vegetarian ever... because... it matters?
Gangrel can actually be a nasty fight if you aren't prepared for his ranged sword, since he can make *very* good use of it as a Trickster.
Walhart was a fucking badass, Fire Emblem seems to love creating enemy generals that I often have respect for, making it even harder to kill them.
Except that he survives and you can recruit him ;)
For Walhart? Nah, he doesn't survive. But you can recruit him at some point thanks to StreetPass.
uperpie Yeah but he survived which is why you can recruit him
Any one else looking forward for his appearance in Fire Emblem Heroes? I'd love to get that big guy
Midnox He's probably not in it cause he ain't a hero

Tactician represents Awakening well too, even if he comes across as yusei-ish sometimes "We are not some pawns of fate, our destiny is made by our bonds!"
Close enough. I understand that whole scene on the boat as Robin saying, "It's not the whims of Fate that bind us together, but the bonds we share. Those bonds can change the path we go down, and it is our choice to break or nurture them."
How my Walhart fight went... Ok, I know that I can't walk right into Walhart's range and and not attack or I'll get fucked, I'll double rally movement on Gaius and that'll give me enough Mov. *Use Lissa and Cordelia to Rally Movement* Wait, Rally Movement doesn't stack? Oh shit. *Notices Lissa's in range of 3 Paladins* Fuck, well Gaius can still try hitting Walhart with his bow (He was an Assassin) *Bow only does just over half with a 1% crit* Anna plz *Gaius pulls a Lethality first attack* Now that's strategy.
How my fight went: Paired up with a level 3 Swordmaster Olivia as a level 20 Sorcerer, bought Mire from Gharnef from Spotpass, killed him from halfway across the map. Honestly, sorta regretting buying that leveling DLC. Got really carried away.
AmberStorm MU and Chrom had an S-support, and they destroyed him with a Rapier and magic! :)
Walhart: "I AM INEXORABLE!!!"
This would have been awesome battle music for Smash 4
PuzzleHunter Ibmthi A lot of songs in Awakening should've been in Smash, but they didn't do it for some reason. They added 2 characters from Awakening and they have like only that many songs from the game. Are the songs too serious for their kid's game or some other random BS reason? They'd best make up for it in Smash 5!
You kinda messed up the Quote there, buddy. It happens when Walhart levels up with most of his stats maxed and gets only 0-1 stats up. "Have i conquered...Everything?" I also like his Finding an Item Quote: "Whats this? Ha Ha! An Item! KNEEL BEFORE YOUR NEW MASTER!!!"
One of the my favorite things with Walhart is how similar to Emperor Rudolf he is he looks like him and his role in the story is fairly similar.
WALMART VS. COSTCO HYPE
Walhart: The closest thing Fire Emblem has to Raoh. And that's awesome.
Walhart=FE version of Kratos.
Lon'Qu agread he's like a god of war
Lon'Qu I don't like God of War. :/
They should made his Horse buff as Raoh's
Actually, comparing him to raoh explains a lot in his behavior

Both Walhart and Gangrel are some of my favourite villains from the newer FE games tbh. I just wish the Valm Arc wasn't so filler-ish. But even then you get Say'ri from that part of the game, so it's not all bad!
Valm's got some of the best battles in the game. Plus, you get to kill exelus, preferably while using Say'ri.
+James Cretchley It does have it's good moments. I will agree there! I just like the Plegia Arc the most is all.
"I AM INEXORABLE!!"
To be honest I would have enjoyed Exellous' s death more if it was Walhart that killed him.
It would've been an overkill or a cutscene kill. Besides, you get the pleasure of killing the annoying little crap yourself. And legit, I could've sworn he was female on my first playthrough.
Tactician Robin no shame in that. I thought he was a hag as well. Besides I think that Walhart and Megatron have some things in common considering they have a right hand man that thinks about stabbing them in the back.
Tactician Robin WAIT WHAT! EXELLUS IS A GUY?!?
B-but then you don't get to feel the that awesome feeling of bitch-slapping him with a Crit+Luna 1-shot so hard, that his existence gets obliterated. On the other hand though, I seriously wish that you could recruit Cervantes in the army since he was a hilarious boss.
joshua kim Mustache. Much mustache.
This is the first time that I've actually heard this song for more than 10 seconds...considering that in all my playthroughs I've either killed him in one hit or Lethality'd him.

227someguy Yup. KZhead sarcasm at its finest.
This music is awesome and Walhart's a badass, but…all I can think of is how he looks like a red version of the Tick.
Try Lobster-Devil. Also, he would probably be the worst greeter at Walmart...if Walter from Jeff Dunham's act didn't end up on the top of that list.
Zeus killer productions (For ultimate effect, read this in the characters voices, and Walhart in a Walmart greeter's uniform.) **Chrom walks into a Walmart.** *Chrom:* Walhart! You survived?! *Walhart:* My heart beats no more... But the flame of generosity within me refuses to gutter out. This marks the third and final time our prices will drop so low! *Chrom:* The recession has ended, Walhart! We've no reason left to buy these things! *Walhart:* You have EVERY reason! A capitalist rules by profit alone. A customer walking out empty-handed is death, and I must rise again! *Chrom:* That's utter nonsense! The Target across the street is reborn and plans to destroy this world! If you're really so set on profit, buy my loyalty as a customer! *Walhart:* Such arrogance. This market is mine! I'll suffer no one to harm my profits, be they KMart, Target, or otherwise. *Chrom:* Only a wretch would grasp at the gold clinking in the pockets of others. You want to swindle a lord? Walhart: The world's scariest vegetarian ever
I am inexorable!
naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
I got to Gangrel last night. This, along with the standard theme for the battle, made me elevate this game's status from pretty good to BEAUTIFUL.
Play sacred stones.
Path of radiance is amazing.
Delivering final blow to Gangrel: Longgggggg liveeeeee the kiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnngggggggg
Chrom: This is is Walhart! You've nowhere else to run! Walhart: Don't worry Excellus, I'll crush these bastards!
Shortcut in School: 1. Use Miriel's vocabulary. 2. Use Laurent's vocabulary. 3. Gain Associate's Degree in High School.
Is there like a genre for this type of music with the people singing in the backgroundl like that
Edelgard: "alright, I'm an axe wielding emperor, with the intent to conquer the world and free it from the grasp of religion. I am the villain in every route besides Crimson Flower, I am a very overpowered unit, who wears red, and has the best boss unit theme in the game... alright that's gotta be original and new right?"
Props to you for being the only one to upload this track and actually include the amazing intro
STAND UP AND FIGHT!!!

0:28 pure mayhem and I love it
This theme is so manly my chest sprouted hair just listening to it
I think King Rudolf and Duma would be VERY proud of Walhart
AMAZING!!
"I die...as all men die...alone..."
I somehow picture this as a Simba vs Scar fight, its just so epic
"I tried, Emm..."
"I... Am inexorable!!!"

The great and powerful conquerer Walmart
can't agree more
walhart being a descendant of rudolf makes me wonder what happened with alm in the gene pool lol
Who knows, maybe Alm got buff as hell in the 20 to 30 years after the events of Gaiden/Echoes.
HE IS COMING 2 HEROES PPL
Yep, Walhart is definitive the best boss of Awakening... :D
Ryng Tolu Morgan (Grandmaster) and Donnel (Hero-Warrior), instawin walhart :/
SquirtleMaster I (of course) used Chrom to beat Walhart both times. The 2 physically strongest men in Awakening at each other's throats!
This song is awesome. Just Like Walhart himself ! \ o /
Great song for a great game
EPIC!!!!!!!!
epic
i let chrom land the last hit and he did it with a crit strike saying "your end has come!" oh my
It's the intro (which is included in the game as a separate track), which plays on the little conversation they'll have before the fight starts. As soon as you press through the conversation it will start the main song.
Gangrel: clinging to each other won't save you when maggots the boot falls! Walhart: stand up and fight!!!
Beomkyu Kim That's also Walhart's crit quote. Epic.
@@danielmaster8776 Yeah I know that And sorry for long reply...
Gangrel was simply insane. Sure, that made him fun. But he had no depth of character beyond every other insane villain in video games. Walhart, he was different. He wanted to become immortal, not through a magical artifact, but by conquering the world. To go down in history as the most powerful man to ever live. And he damn well did. I dare any of you to grind a character up enough to solo Walhart. Even with 3 units I still had to pull out all the stops. Wanna know how I killed Gangrel? Sumia.
You gotta be talking about lunatic mode
Was it just or was Walhart easily the toughest boss character in the game? Whether it came to simply defeating him or recruiting him, he was pretty tough
I have to argue that Priam was tougher. Priam was the strength of 5 walharts combined.
I only found Priam tough due to the many surrounding enemies in his chapter
Yen'fay and Priam say hello
nothing is hard when you have swordmaster-Kjelle.
Lucina and Chrom teamed up and he attacked them.... And they both hit twice each and killed him from countering. It's definitely going to be harder when I replay on hard, but on easy he got rekt
Awesome music for a wonderfull game! =)
Altough I feel Hardin and Zephiel are the better Emperor villains, Walhart is a close second
*third*
Haven't played FE9 so I can't say if he is better as well or not
a theme suited for a conqueror
Reminder this guy comes back to life when grima awakens controlling risen Bro commands himself only
Don't blame you, she was a huge English wiz of a teacher in my 12th grade of high school. The fact she didn't know really surprised me but it seriously occurred, no kidding.
"I have risen to a higher plane of existence." "Then today you come crashing down to the hell you've made out of this one." Say'ri out of nowhere with the most metal line in the game.
Stand up and FIGHT!!!
Wallhart is awsome he is one of my top men in my army now that I recruited him
This also plays against Gangrel. The NOA name for the song is now Mastermind, to fit the theme of all boss music starting with an M.
same here great minds think alike
Definitely my favorite battle theme of this game. And yes, that means it tops Grima's.
Best character
Walmart is certainly an interesting character. What would you call him, a nihilist idealist?
Oooohhh, ok!
Wait? what why is the music so depressing walhart is a good man, he was trying to stop grima from being summoned.
This song = epic.
