  • as a leicester fan i reckon we’ll go straight back up. We’ve somehow kept Ricardo, Ndidi, Castagne up to this point. Go back a few seasons and ricardo and ndidi were up there with the best in their positions in the league. Vardy still has goals in him even if it isn’t a goal crazy season, he’ll pop up with a few. Winks, Coady, Nacho, Faes, Justin, KDH all prem regulars not so long ago and could easily still be there

  • Great format guys, very knowledgeable too. You justify your predictions succinctly... I would be very, very worried but I am watching this as Argyle have got past the predicted "struggle from day one" view... View? Phew more like😂 One thing you should remember about Argyle, and this is how all the teams in last season described us, is we are relentless and very very fit. The ridiculous extra times added will suit us. I think last season out of the 92 we scored the most goals in the dying minutes of the matches. Hoping everyone has an exciting and fun filled season.   • As a Norwich fan let's hope we can push a little higher than your predictions however I think sadly the era of bouncing between the championship and premiership has come to an end and a finish just outside of the play offs is a reasonable prediction.     • We need a striker, a left back, and a few midfielders in order to compete for automatic promotion. Most of our key players have left and we've only signed one player. As it stands it will be a fight to make the playoffs.

    • Yo yo yo, as a saints fan 😢 lol, I was watching the game recently and I think Wednesday have huge potential if their defense was top tier… not sure if it was just me either but, I swear their midfield held a better, more consistent defensive shape than their actual defense… if this was the case, once it gets sorted and they play the new matee up front, “muso-something something”, you actually could finish above a lot more teams than you think… Pros: held really good defensive structure and they utilized the long ball well with faster strikers etc Cons: not enough umph to go and get the ball, take risks and counter-attack; (they had 20% possession)

  • I said this last season, the disrespect on Lancashire clubs is always unreal, Preston haven't finished below 14th since coming up in 2015. And Blackburn still have good players with Szmodics and Ennis being brilliant. Preston will finish lowest 13th and Blackburn in a similar position possibly pushing playoffs

    • Honestly glad to see someone with actual championship knowledge I agree with both of these predictions and think people heavily underrate the two Lancashire clubs and Brereton won’t make even that much of a difference to Blackburn’s squad due to how out of form he was before he went on a free only negative was we didn’t get money for him we brought in replacements more than just Sigurdsson and I just think people think PNE aren’t great but I still see them between 8th-11th

But I think we’ll have all 3 of the relegated teams, shooting back up again to the prem… 1. Leicester 2. Southampton 3. Leeds (play off winners) 4. Middlesbrough 5. Norwich 6. Watford 7. West Brom 8.   • You didn't mention Ampadu he's fire yesterday we was on fire we looked so strong against Nottingham Forest if we had a striker it would have been 4-0 easy if we can get a good striker we will burn through the league I'm very confident Sinisterra and Gnonto and Adams we all hope to keep but we doubt it if we do manage to keep them well it's 1st place for us

  • Thogden, it's been a while since I made a comment on your channel. I'm not too sure if you're brave enough to do weekly score predictions for the Championship 2023/24. I think you may do these on Shorts more than anything else or do them in the community tab

    • Good idea. Shorts is a good shout. It’s a lot of games & a lot of extra work revising teams and play. If Bolton made it to Champ I would 100% do it

    • @thogden Just for a little bit of a heads-up. I think it's very likely that you're gonna do Premier League weekly predictions with your dad and the guests for the 2023/24 season. About the scoring system, I'm gonna say: keeping the same: ●0 points: outcome predicted incorrectly ●1 point: win/draw/loss (basically outcome predicted correctly regardless of the score) ●2 points: predicting the correct winning team+goal margin (only for win/loss) ●3 points: perfect score prediction ●4 points: perfect score prediction (required a prediction to have 4 goals or more) BTW, I hope your channel can keep growing ❤

  • You often hear the cliche that "the Championship is the toughest league in the world", when actually it isn't. It's all about consistency, so the trick is to treat ALL opposition teams as though it's going to the toughest match, even teams near the bottom of the league can be difficult. Make sure your team have a top defence and keep churning out consistent performances and you're guaranteed at least the play-offs.

  • Rotherham have signed proven championship players, 3 of which have won promotion to the prem. Kept hold of our main player (Johansson) and signed players that have improved the squad greatly. With Green and Tiehi set to sign Monday.

  • Your underestimating Sunderland we conceded lots of goals cos we had no depth in defence so we have a winger at rb and a rb at cb but we have bought some depth we had a striker crisis and played most of the season without one we already have signed 2 and a 3rd one is on the way
