This man expected a calm bullterrier but got a little firecracker. Rocky loves doing zoomies, rolling around and even jumping on the table. He has been a character since puppy age. And it took Danny, his owner, quite some time to find a way around it.

Expecting a bull terrier to be calm is like expecting a sloth to be energetic. Anyone who knows anything about dogs would have told this guy that.
well...others in the field would tell you that not all bull terriers remain so, after a year and a half, my Maxy calmed down considerably, he was amazing in fact.

My bull terrier was a dud. She loved to sleep and eat. Every now and then, she would get the zoomies, but otherwise the most she would do is follow a patch of sunlight to lay in

I have never met a "calm" bull terrier. They are all "firecrackers.". I love them. But if you're looking for "calm," get a bulldog.
Mine was a calm one, maybe because he matched my energy after a year and a half. Make no mistakes had his zoomies, played, and was stubborn as hell especially if he wanted to get in the bathtub with mummy (he loved water and his bath times) but otherwise completely chilled and just lovely. His puppyhood on the other hand..phew, that was something else!! I once ended up at the hospital because he jumped on me with his 40kg and scratched my chest in his enthusiasm to see me. :D x

What a lovely relationship. His dad is doing all these amazing things to make his boy happy, and is enjoying every step of the way himself. The love between them is growing by leaps and bounds. Could it be any better than that? I don't think so.

I had a beautiful white bull terrier called Buster , he could be very laid back sometimes , and energetic sometimes , depending on how he felt , still miss him after 25 years of his passing to the rainbow bridge .

The love of a bull terrier is like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. I feel so lucky that I got to have that. They’re just magical. My heart will always ache for him though, it’s also very hard to say goodbye. 💔
You don't train Rocky. It looks like he trained YOU. You carry him, push his cart, and paddle his kayak. When you tossed the frisbee, he looked like he was wondering why you threw away the toy. Now you have to go fetch it!

This is what I did with all of my dogs. I drove truck all over the US and they all got to do things they never would’ve done otherwise. I truly enjoyed my time with them. For the past 7 years, I haven’t driven and my last road partner in crime, Puppy, passed away at the old age of 16. I now have a new rescue Pittie named Dolly and a 7.5 month old Cocker Spaniel named after my fiancés uncle that passed away at the end of WWII. Albert Feingold. We have some traveling to do. They both love the rides. But like this fine gentleman and his pooch, I plan on giving my 2 beautiful dogs and my fiancé, Jo, the best rides possible. Thank you for your story. Keep on the inspiration.

I have a bull terrier too & they’re a very unique breed! But he’s the best dog I’ve ever had! He’s crazy & spins like a lil bucking bronco a few times everyday & it’s hilarious. But I do get hurt if I don’t move outta the way 😂 I’ve heard a lot that they’re hard to train but I’ve actually found the opposite with Brutus. He’s so smart & learns so quick. But he is stubborn at times too. I wouldn’t have him any other way ❤❤
Love the name, very fitting I'm sure! Mine was called Maximus ''Lord of the manor'', as he was KC registered and his dad won the Krufts 5 years in a row, pick of the litter big boy, but to me, he was my baby, professor piglet, boyo, because I got him from Wales, maximax, maxomaxo, etc :DDDDD xxx

My friends female bull terrier is a super cuddle bug. Shes happy to just lie still and be massaged , maybe feed her some grapes & run a milk bath - shes up for being treated like a queen.😂
I hate it when people train dogs to be who they aren't. There's nothing wrong with a dog wanting to chase its tail. I'm glad you changed your mind and learned how to accept and fit his needs

I have a Bull Terrier now. I adopted him from a lady & her 2 sons. Unfortunately, they lived in an apartment where when she went to work & kids the to school, some bratty girl would knock on their door & cause him to bark like crazy. When she told me about having to give the dog up, she told me he was a "Terrier". She was afraid to tell me it was a Bull Terrier. Now, so happens in the late 60's & 70's I bred them for show. So when I went to her apartment u can imagine how shocked I was !!. I was gone with him in! 15 minutes, before she might change her mind. Lol. He was 4 years old then. He's 10 now. Stubborn YES, but around the house he's pretty quiet & well behavior. He has a brother ( an ex-feral kitty) & a sister kitty I just found in the street when I walking Chico, beginning of Oct. Vet said she was only 2.5 weeks old. He gets along with both cat's, but the baby is HIS baby. He cleans her constantly & allows her to climb all over him, nails & all ( she's a baby). I have 5 feral cat's who live on my covered porch & he gets along with them as well. They're not scared of him at all . He has good energy around them. It's funny, when I walk him around the neighborhood, it's like when Norm from Cheers would walks in the bar, People come out of their house just to pet him & say hi, which he LOVES. Great dogs, for the right people
