    • Perhaps yes in a best of 5 match. Alcaraz 2nd serve was attacked. This is a strategy I suggested versus A!caraz a long time ago. And he used it to perfection. Dimitri was moving beautifully and reading the drop shot very well. Basically he was dealing n the zone. Nobody can beat a top player if they are in this "zone" And if you have 2 great players in the zone well you get one of the best matches of all time.

  • That was the best match I have seen Dimitrov play. My prediction was that Miami is too fast for Alcaraz and he still needs to make adjustments to play on these type of surfaces. Dimitrov took the ball extremely early here and that took time away from Alcaraz to play his game. Grigor showed a great understanding of what is required here and adjusted his game accordingly. That comes with age and experience. Carlitos still needs to tune his game for different conditions.

    @quest9133@quest9133Ай бұрын

    • I think that his biggest problem is Djokovic, his drop in from probably resulted from thinking about Nole instead of focusing on playing freely in every match

  • It's another proof that's when Dimi is on song he can beat anyone. The problem is he just can't maintain that level for a little bit more time. I hope he is more motivated than ever to tell the world that he can win a major. Keep up the good work, Dimi.. whoop whoop!!

  • Dimitrov is strategicaly and talent wise elite player. It was pure talent vs strength and talent won this time. Like someone said, great win for tennis in general!🎉🎉🎉

  • Alcaraz is like the Borg from Star Trek, your phasers need to be on a constant rotating frequency if you want to beat him.

  • MAROZSAN HAS THE QUALITY TO BECOME A TOP 10 PLAYER . TODAY HE GOT A LITTLE NERVOUS PLAYING THE BIG POINTS. Also Zverev will, in my opinion , win the tournament and will be mumber 1 soon. Don't forget that Sasha is only 26 and he has soo much experience and has improved a lot after his come back from injury. It will be Danil or Sasha. I don't think Sinner and Carlitos are at their levels yet.

  • Wow I am in huge trouble now I wanted Dimitrov to go further to be back in the top 10 after his brilliant past performances but when got to know he has to face Alcaraz in the quarters , my support shifted towards Zverev to take revenge from IW , but now both fav are here 😂but rooting for Dimi to win this all and break back in the top 10 💪💪

  • I love that Grigor is getting a resurgence, I'd love to see him lift a masters at this point. Injury and lacks of confidence definitely stole a few years off him.

  • ATP handshakes vs WTA handshakes... The same at non pro level btw. Both great matches. Dimitrov had a great 2023 and a really good start to 2024. Happy for him. Love to see Alcaraz win some trophies this year too. Zverev plays very solid, Marozsan put up a nice fight tho. Bright future in front of him. Looking forward to some really good SFs.
