      @FLaDave351@FLaDave3512 жыл бұрын
    • @@FLaDave351 Not so much 'debatable' as it is incorrect. There is no such thing as 'right of way' in navigation rules. There's only 'give way vessels' which must taken action to avoid the collision and 'stand on vessels' which should maintain speed and course (unless it becomes clear the the give way vessel is not taking any action). And as far as size... might does not make right. The 'restricted in their maneuverability does not mean that the boat that is harder to maneuver has the right of way. It applies to ships that can't change their course due to such activities as dredging, laying underwater cables, ocean floor surveying, and the like. Below that, on the pecking order, are other categories which could be size dependent, such as restricted by draft, but that does not appear to apply in this situation.

  • On 06:45 the vessel is not crushing... is going for scrap. Common practice on the vessel's last voyage to go full speed ashore...

    • "Potato potato" doesn't work. A barge is an unpowered floating vessel designed for ferrying known amounts of cargo. A ship does the same thing, EXCEPT, it's a self-powered vessel, unlike a barge.

  • Running tally of the ones you inaccurately describe: The Yacht under the bridge broke free of its moorings during a flood and was pushed into there. The guy in the ketch was pushed up against the bridge due to the tide. You can see this in the flow of water. Wind had nothing to do with it. The guys taking the big waves are part of a support crew for a surf competition and know how to navigate these kinds of waves. They're not idiots. The guy going through the breakers with the person flopping is simply going out in a bad tidal condition. Not exactly anything new and he's not an idiot. Nor was the Maelstrom guy since he kept a safe distance and does it often. "Sans flotation vests" *You can literally see in the video that everyone, captain included are wearing flotation vests you mook* The ferry crashing into a bridge had lost control of its throttle body and they were in the process of trying to kill the engine to prevent the accident. The honking was the crew warning people to get out of the way before impact as they did not have control of the vessel. They weren't idiots. They took every reasonable action to prevent injury. *Florida man was an idiot* The forks were secured but the bounceback caused them to pop off. 6:44 that was a wrecking yard. They're driven up to break their keels intentionally. The row boat over a tree log was a vintage bill dance outdoors blooper they made for the dvd release. So 95% of your clips were just you sucking at identifying what was going on and ascribing idiocy where none exists. I think out of all of them. 5 clips were legitimately caused by idiots.
