The UFC still want that Oliveira fight because that Brazilian market is still their 2nd biggest market and then they have Gaethje carrying around the BMF belt. In regards to the Martins loss, it was his 2nd fight in the UFC, he got caught it happens and he’s moved on, something Dan clearly hasn’t done

To be fair if Khabib didn't runaway after his daddy died then Islam wouldn't be champion either. Then when Khabib Clone #3 shows up and wins you will say the same thing. "Nobody can win the title until Khabib #3 retires". Retirement is undefeated even with the Khabib clones.
Dan knows he cant be champion anymore. He realised his level when he fought Islam. He tried Featherweight and failed there as well. Now he's fighting just to pay his bills which is okay.
