That level 1 turret has seen it all.
This seems like one of those mobile games where in the ad, the player makes the stupidest decisions, not that you're stupid.
“Hmm should I multiply by 50 on the left or subtract 700 on the right” 🤔 “I’ll go right”
Fun fact I used to work with one of the guys who were on the team of scientists who were tasked with figuring out how to make more money from people with mobile game ads, and he was on the team that investigated the effect of viewing a bad player and thus wanting to play yourself, in order to play it right. Apparently they were paid sickening amounts of money from the mobile industry to figure out how to manipulate people best.

As someone who used to make gaming videos, KZhead does not automatically try to find what game it is. The person creating the video has to manually set what game they are playing out of thousands of options. So Real Civil Engineer is cultured, you see.
Matt will have chosen it as the "closest" game with a category on KZhead so the algorithm knows who to suggest it to. It isn't automatic, or at least it wasn't last I checked. It's quite common, especially if it's a new game clearly inspired by another (not saying that's the case here).
@Noyla. KZhead does automatically try to find what game it is if you leave it blank. I left it blank because the game isn't on their list, so cultured I am not sadly haha

it looked like there were multiple tabs in the upgrade screen too, this game isn't enough to compel me to look though... even if I got a "sketchy copy" of it.

I think it was one of those when you click it will give you an option to watch ads for coins
Clicking the helicopter gives you an ad, you only get a reward if you finish the ad so I ignored it!
Game designers don't normally know what letter to put after T (trillion) so they just do AA, AB, AC, up to AZ then BA, BB, and so on.
I play a lot of incremental games, this sounds like they just don't want kids to be confused

Pretty sure you can drag cannons to the trash can in the bottom right to get rid of them. Also the price reduce upgrade reduces the prices of the other upgrades so worth getting that first.
the biggest problem by single canon is: they shoot 1 bullet the lvl 25 cannon was stronger as the lvl 26 cannon, as the firerate is the same by all, it just shoot more bullet out and both cannon kill the enemy in the same time
Yea, it seemed like a lot of the cannons were straight downgrades once it started getting two round or three round versions, since most enemies were dying in one bullet anyhow.

And super nifty looking future guns.... that all still fire the same white round balls. There was a designer looking to cash in on the "lets make a simple game with upgrade mechanics" genre

making higher levels is better since it doubles damage for only 1 slot so you can for example merge all lvl 5 to lvl 6 and then fill in the rest with lvl 4 and 5 so the average damage per tower increases

Yup, every tower upgrade is something like (previous lvl x 2) + 10%
It killed me how long it took Matt to realize the wall was upgradeable and that button was not just healing. This could be a speedrun category for time or fewest waves to maxed cannons.

Multishot turrets do more than they seem to btw. It's better to keep as many of those as ya can for as long as you can, mostly cause they hit multiple enemies at once. Upgrading them immediately doesn't really seem worth it until you just can't handle the mobs anymore.
If i remember the math on turning speeds and firing arcs correctly it makes the most sense to put the strongest one in the middle since it has to turn less far there to cover the whole map than it would on the edge.
Ahhh... I thought that at least fire rate and/projectile effects would change when you merge, but it's a shame that it's only damage that's changing
You should play space station 13 and play as the engineer role in it, it’s chaotic and hectic at some points and playing the engineering role in that game proves to be quite difficult. The game has realistic aspects that make the jobs genuine and feel real.
It needs others to play it though. Not really a solo game

This looks so good but for me it’s just ruined by the fact it doesn’t go forever and there’s a cap to everything (especially seeing as it’s so easy; if it took a week of constant playing to get lvl 50 turret it’d be fine)

It is amazing how many mistakes you make in these games and how you can mess up so badly. I maxed my towers first run to 50 without dying a single time. If you don’t watch adds you will just lose. That’s the focus of all these games.
