  • Thank you for the feedback about comfort and the headache problem! Nobody mentions this in their reviews, but most headsets give me headache, so I can only use earbuds (HyperX Cloud Buds are the most comfortable ever). It's impressive how flexible the headband is, I didn't know you could twist a headband like that without breaking it! Awesome review in every aspect!! 🥰

  • Great review Christina 🥰❤️👍🤯🎉🥳 always love to hear your/KitGuru in-depth reviews 🥳👍 as you always manage to bring up points or interest or concern NOT raised by other US base pc tech review channels! These new Virtuoso headphones with hot pink look sweet…..oh sorry that’s you Christina 🥰😉, the headphones though with the metal finish look more premium to the original. The price thou put me off them and I ended up ordering the Drop Sennheiser HD58 Jubilee for USD $150 and getting them shipped to here in Australia as I play lots of single player games and being open backed headphones, the Drop HD58, offers a rich open world experience over closed back headphones such as the Virtuoso. Great work again! Looking forward to seeing your next review. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺 🍻👋😎😉

  • Sounds like they maybe going after the Steelseries Wireless Pro but for me being able just to change out the battery and having another in the dock was a game changer. Expensive yes but well worth that price alone. Very Good Review BTW.

    • I LOVED my Arctis Pro Wireless... until they broke. The plastic earphone is fragile where it connects to the headband and this seems to be a common problem. Glad I got the extended warranty on mine so I can trade them from the Virtuoso XT!

  • When I connect them via USB wireless, I do not take the audio automatically from the headset, I must select it manually if I want the sound from the PC or the headset. This issue did not happen to me with the previous RGB version. When using the XTs with the usb type C cable, it does so automatically. Does anyone else have the same thing?

  • This looks like a premium set. I have them coming today. These are a potential replacement for my Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless which I like very much. But the mic quality has seemed to deteriorate over time. I figure I will try the Virtuoso XT for a little and send them back if I don't like them.

    • @DarkAvenga I had the virtuoso. Ultimately I sent then back because after about an hour they would hurt the top of my head. Sounded good though. What I ended up with was Razer Kraken v3 pro wireless. They sound good and they have so much padding I can wear them for hours without problems.

They audio qualities a bit below my Bose QC35ii's and I find there's so little clamping pressure there's massive sound leakage and basically zero bass. Disappointment :( Also, there's no software for the Mac, so how can they say they're Mac supported? :(

  • Great headset but for a lot of people (me included) you’ll need to buy aftermarket earcups to stop ear pain after 2-3 hours of wearing them For the price tag, comfort shouldn’t be such a big issue

  • For me it always comes down to sound quality. If the sound quality matches the price I am interested, no matter the brand or marketing. If the sound quality isn't there then no amount of features will sell me on it. Unfortunately, this particular product doesn't justify it's price.

    @Berserkism@Berserkism2 жыл бұрын
    • I agree, for 250 you could get something from Sehnheiser or Beyer Dynamics with better sound quality. But this looks like gamer oriented - RGB, no cable and a removable mic are all the features a lot of gamers are looking for. Because the Corsair brand is known they can go for prices like that, although I would say that it is a bit expensive. Pads look a bit cheap. A lot of plastic - Beyer for the same price offers a metal frame. And when it comes to sound, very individual thing, but mic quality was very good. Would say that the bluetooth features are a great feature though.

      @Belznis@Belznis2 жыл бұрын
    • @@Belznis I don't GAF about RGB on a headset its pointless especially on wireless headsets since it eats up the battery and you don't really notice it but most of the other features are compelling and for a gaming headset which this marketed as it is one of the best wireless gaming headsets out there ESPECIALLY for wireless headset mics Yes there are headphones or headsets that may sound better for £250 but non of them are wireless with ultra fast sub 1ms response and a detachable mic which is a feature I REALLY LIKE about these since you can be 100% assured no sound is being transmitted through the mic if you have some shady applications running on your PC/phone or if you accidentally turn on your mic unintentionally and record yourself and so on also if your mic breaks it can easily be replaced

      @zahidshabir4038@zahidshabir40382 жыл бұрын
    • @@zahidshabir4038 This is pretty spot on. I don’t think this headphones should be compared to a wired audiophile oriented set of headphones because this is not what they’re intended to be. In terms of gaming headsets, which is, in my opinion, the market these headphones are oriented at, these seem to be at the top of the food chain. The only thing they may be lacking is, as another commenter pointed out, a chat/game scroll wheel to focus more on the game or the discord conversation.

      @J.I.R.A@J.I.R.A2 жыл бұрын
    • @@zahidshabir4038 check out the audeze Penrose , incredible gaming sound with very large 100mm planar magnetic drivers, they have the richest gaming audio I've heard fro ma headset before, I've had lots of beyer and sennheiser headsets and headphones before, only headPHONES I have had which were the best gaming sound was the beyer t5p 2nd gen, but because they needed some good amplification to get the best out of them I got frustrated with all the cables etc. The Penrose is a good substitute though and the wireless and no cables is a massive win.

    • Depends. I find certain headsets very uncomfortable, and the idea of being able to plug these into my switch and play on one monitor whilst having it wirelessly connected to my PC at the same time for discord sounds really useful. Also, being able to hear sounds doesn't mean the quality is the same. Being able to distinguish between different sounds with a headset that has a bigger range is bliss when playing things like FPS games. Hearing footsteps whilst gunfire is happening etc.
