Автомобильные колеса без поперечной радиальности шин для мотоцикла - верная авария! Ну и прочие косяки конструкции. А вот за видео - респект! Завораживает процесс созидания.
Да в этой конструкции, абсолютно всё, - верная неисправность )))))) Столько болтов, тяг, подшипников и даже два амортизатора, а подвески не работают вообще. Вместо внушительного заднего маятника, - лишь две хлипкие дверные петли, которые даже приварены не стой стороны ))))) Амортизаторы, причём оба, прикрутили сюда лишь для красоты ))))

Всегда удивляли такие видео, человек старается столько сил тратит, а в итоге столько косяков в конструкции, в общем воздержусь и от плюсов и от минусов. Ситуация когда плюс на минус дает ноль. :) Но вот за что реально стоит похвалить, это что человек предпочитает чем то заниматься а не пьянствовать.
Самый большой косяк при монтаже тормозной системы, когда тормозные шланги одевал. Там две уплотнительные шайбы ставятся по обе стороны фитинга, для уплотнения соединения. На видео автор обе эти шайбы с одной стороны зажал болтом, что влечет подтекание тормозной жидкости с завоздушиванием тормозной системы. Тормоза это жизнь. Остальное даже обсуждать не стоит, ездит и ездит.
@@mmiller2963 а если посмотреть чуть дальше, с моментом заливания тормозной жидкости в гидросистему, заметно что уплотнительные шайбы уже стоят правильно

Lots of quirky details: With those constructions, you can't expect either front nor rear wheel suspension to work - and consequently when driving they accordingly seem totally stiff. Lots of corners and long bolts that could hurt yourself and walking people! The hot air blowing from the motor cylinder seems to heat up the gasoline tank - could be a fire danger! If you used all the parts coming with the bicycle stand, then it would be just a little more sturdy. Besides all this looks nice and fun! 🙂 You could try to correct everything(!) - Good luck! Ifyou get the rear swing to swing, then you need more chain guides.

You're not totally wrong. That front end is working against itself, you can see the single sided arm is the flex point. Ditto the rear,. it's pivoting on a damn door hinge, and is set in a way that even at rest only allows the swingarm to drop down, no room to go up. The gas tank and heat, however, the engine is covered in shrouds and has a fan inside the recoil housing that blows air through the shrouds and cool the engine. Residual heat while moving and even while sitting once shut down do not approach levels that cause any concern for the fuel.

Самый удивительный - это с двумя цепями. Утяжеления оправданы. Цепи и и звёзды не изнашиваются и не подтягиваются , особенно о-ринг и х-ринг.
Берётся швейная машинка Зингера, добавляются колеса, руль, сиденье и получается чудная сноповязалка

Glad to see you get the crush washers correct on the banjo fittings later on in the vid. I was yelling at the screen whoa wait! Awesome build though. I would want to build one with two wheels in the back with a basket of some kind for carrying light loads. Would be great for running to the store and what not. Cool!

I would hafta disagree. As a kid I pulled scrap out and built several bikes and go-karts. I did have a stick welder and drill press. This was back in early middle school days. Back then they were not up to the level of this bike in style , or rather finish , but my skills were not to that level at that age. Those two items can be had for nearly nothing now days. Like I have a Harbor Freight welder that weighs around 10 lbs , and way less than one hundred dollars. It's easy to carry to anyone's house to do mobile welding repair work with several different plugs to fit whatever receptacle they may have.

👍 Очень интересная конструкция амортизации передней подвески.
Интересная, но, абсолютно не работоспособная. Задняя подвеска ещё интереснее! 🤣)))) Столько болтов, столько тяг, столько подшипников, столько металла и труда, а больше 25 км/час на нём не поехать. Так как ни передняя, ни задняя, подвески не работают вообще. Да они и в принципе, не должны работать при такой конструкции. Вы обратили внимание, как эта куча металла, переезжает через лежачих полицейских? Вот именно, что ни передняя, ни задняя подвески, даже не шевелятся. Если поедет чуть быстрее, все сварные швы у него отлетят, либо раму ему погнёт и порвёт. Видео красивое очень, контент залипательный, но, это просто контент. Это не мотоцикл, не мопед, не мотоблок, а просто трата денег, материалов и технически бесполезного труда, потрачены только ради видеосъёмки. Ролик для тех, кто вообще не осмысливает то, что ему показывают. Это просто кино. Это было понятно с самого начала, когда автомобильную резину показали. На автомобильной резине, двухколёсные мотоциклы не могут брать повороты. Только очень-очень медленно. Вот он и ползёт только по прямой. 250 кубиков, могут разгонять правильный мотоцикл до 130 км/час. А у этого агрегата, ни коробки передач, ни вариатора нет. И нет никакого смысла их ставить при такой бестолковой геометрии.
@@user-Ded-Rarited Полностью согласен. С такими колесами и при таких скоростях я бы вообще сделал жёсткие подвески без амортизации. А с таким оборудованием и такой материальной базой я бы наверное что нибудь поинтереснее замутил. Anyone notice that he put both crush washers on one side of the banjo bolt on all the brake hose connection! lol. You don't think the front shock is doing anything since the double pivit point he welded to the down tube! I did like the video though.. 6 out 10!

Awesome, building a motorcycle from scratch! Where the tube of the front wheel is connected to the head tube the metal seems a little thin. I don't really know, just visually. Also conical bearings are better for a head tube but the ones you used are very big so that'll be OK.
I definitely would have used a spacer in between my hub bearings! Awesome build non the less👍🏼
I definitely would have used a mill and a lathe to give some level of precision to the manufacture of the hub assy, a give away that you're about to see shonky engineering is the wearing of gloves. Anybody thats been educated at college or to apprentice level in engineering knows not to wear gloves when using power tools, Thats day one safety.

As a proof of concept, it ain't bad. Virtually every detail would have to be improved before I'd take it down the road. Can you imagine a car following you, and all you can think about is that your life depends on a door hinge?

The two folding chair hinges hold the entire rear axle. But not for long.

Awesome vid,awesome bike,I want one,but I would use lock washers on all the nuts and use filler wire on most of the welds. Great videography. Agree… cool project, not sure about a few things as far as it lasting… welds without filler wire, using essentially door hinges for the articulation of the suspension, and the welding on the exhaust won’t last long with vibrations with its design and welding job. Clean thou, looks good…
That came out really nice, and I love that's it's a pull start 250cc.
1) Weld the exaust in 2 places, not just one. After a while the vibrations will cause metal fatigue and break the bolts 2) Make fenders to protect from water 3) Never bolt suspension without a weight to compress (bound) it first, because it reduces the rebound. The geometry is wrong. 4) Move the engine closer to the wheel and replace the chain with a belt and better tensioner 5) Use the wasted extra space for storage 6) It is not a trike, because it has 2 wheels, not 3
Did you notice he used two door hinges as the pivot point of the swing arm . That's a major week point .
I agree. With his skills, time and money used to build this thing, he could have restored a small motorcycle and had better handling and suspension. When he took it out for a test ride, it looked like the handling was a little squirrelly. I'm just learning welding, myself, and was confused with what I saw here. It looked like he was using a TIG welder, but with NO filler rod. Was that some kind of TIG / MIG hybrid that I've never heard of? Or is it okay to do that with a TIG if you have the skills?
@@willphelps6715 I can't explain that on either. Stick, Mig and Tig are all additive processes, ie a you need to add material to the work piece. I'm not sure what we were seeing here, except maybe cleaver editing. Make the weld, then come back to flash the weld on the video. And then edit out the actial weld process.
That's not a 250cc engine either.
@@willphelps6715 I believe there's some editing trickery for the welding scenes. I believe he's using at least some filler, then filming himself running the torch across the completed weld without filler just for show. With Tig you can do "fusion welding" with no filler, where you use the arc from the Tig to melt the two base metals together. In general fusion welds are weaker but are perfectly acceptable in some applications and required in others. Food production and some laboratory settings require stainless steel to be fusion welded together because the filer rod introduces material other than stainless steel which is undesirable. Aluminum can be fusion welded in some applications because the filler rod is essentially aluminum. Either way tight gaps are required for fusion welding and whether it's appropriate depends on the application

Дааа, правильно люди подметили про дверные навесы но больше я ах*ел с того как он тормозные шланги прикрутил!!!!. Я знаю потом он это исправил.
Пересмотрел. Понял что он там петли от сарая приворил. Только верх ногами Карл. Они на разжатие аморта сделаны, а не на сжатие. К такому меня жизнь не готовила.
Это хуЙло еще и уплотнительные медные кольца на тормозной штуцер с 1 стороны поставаило....Кпп нет...Нахер нужно это уебище?

Was it tig or mig? Could the filler rod be spool- wire fed? Did he use any inert gas? I find argon prohibitively expensive for hobby welding.

The design is good and the workmanship is excellent. I do feel that both the front and back suspension could be better. Those two hinges at the back do not complement the strength of the whole bike, same for the front suspension. Apart from that the thinking behind it all is brilliant, Congratulations. All the best.
15:23 - I'd highly recommend against using a threaded bolt for a shock bolt because it will wear away at the inside of the shock mount and start making it rattle and get loose.... It's easy to get shouldered bolts that are made for shock mounts, but that's only if you want your build to last a long time.
