The finals is literally the first game that I bought into the battle pass. And as a player that completed the 97 levels before the rework, I enjoyed every minute of gameplay leading up to that point. I work Mon-Fri and play for about 3 hours a day casually + solo and the grind wasnt even a grind. Just focus on dailies and weeklies and you'll walk through the battle pass. Regardless, Ive spent over 150hrs playing S1 and the 50hrs after the battle pass was complete was the real grind waiting for S2 to drop.

@@samuellinn nukes already got nerfed to where you only get 1 c4 charge so it’s only insta killing lights now, but if you have a fast enough reaction time theoretically you could block them.

this game has so much potential with a TDM concept, i know this game was never built around it but IMAGINE how awesome it would be, because not always you going to want to play group vs group vs group vs group.... its a solid game dont get me wrong, but its missing out so much on not having a simple tdm.

A few quick notes: - Light SMG has a red dot - Gravity grenade can lift the cashout so it can't be stolen, which is extremely useful - The reshaper could be amazing as quickly clearing cashout defenses, as currently it can be challenging to take out well set up teams

I'm confused on the heavy getting the motion sensor. As a light player that thing was a joke! And now we (lights) get the sonar grenades and tracker dart, meaning mediums and heavies have even less chance tracking me when I cloak XD

I stopped playing about halfway through season 1 due to the grindy feel of the game and getting burnt out. I'm back in for season 2, love the removal of recon senses until they can find a good rework, new contract system seems to level you up pretty well, and overall great new gadgets and weapons. Really positive look for Embark and The Finals. Let's hope they can keep it up

The content creator in Embark is outstanding. But I do feel that the balance group will ruin everything afterwards. I just feel no fun after the balance group balanced after season 1. Every fun stuff is nerfed. Every stuff they buffed is still under par.

I didn't buy a single level, and burned through the battle pass in like 3 weeks. For the remaining 9 weeks I sat around wishing I had more levels to grind. All this whining about not getting everything for the least amount of effort possible is honestly just kind of sad.

I feel like this game is kicking off more on PC then console as I don't see many playing on console at least out of the 100 something friends not one has really picked it up. No. There are currently only 3 burst fire weapons 2 of which were added in season 2, in actuality theirs a huge variety of weapons from samurai swords, to riot shields, and even sawed off shotguns.

They did balance classes. Recon senses is gone, heavies only get one c4 (so less nuking). Great changes imo.

I'm back in for season 2, love the removal of recon senses until they can find a good rework, new contract system seems to level you up pretty well, and overall great new gadgets and weapons. Really positive look for Embark and The Finals. Let's hope they can keep it up
You can tell level cap doesn’t play the finals, that object reshaper is actually goated, clearing mines without trigging fire, dropping cash outs, and making gas clouds is actually really nice.

The Finals is the future. First game I've seen take The Portal/Portal 2 ideas and put it good use.
But the real question is have they gotten rid of Invisibility yet? If not it will stay on the shelf. Gunplay and stuff is fun but I didn't pick it up to play a shooter I can't see half the players in.
You can still see them when they shoot or get close. And lights drop in one shot anyways

The content creator in Embark is outstanding. But I do feel that the balance group will ruin everything afterwards. I just feel no fun after the balance group balanced after season 1. Every fun stuff is nerfed. Every stuff they buffed is still under par.

I didn't buy a single level, and burned through the battle pass in like 3 weeks. For the remaining 9 weeks I sat around wishing I had more levels to grind. All this whining about not getting everything for the least amount of effort possible is honestly just kind of sad.
It still was a pretty heavy battle pass to grind bro. Not everyone has time and devotion like you and plus there's other games to play. A lot of which are doing the same battle pass grind gimmick m

I feel like this game is kicking off more on PC then console as I don't see many playing on console at least out of the 100 something friends not one has really picked it up. It could be that it is such a fast pace game and all of my friends are mid 30's and older and just chill and play for a bit well kids are sleeping
No kids but I fall in line with this assessment lol. I don't have much fun with this game. I don't like not having a mini map, the maps themselves, and the total lack of team work when you run in solo with randoms.
You have a spot mechanic and you can always just put your mic on to communicate 😂. Even if you weren't solo if your mic is off how can you do teamwork

3:06 this just makes me think you're lazy. If you can't put in 50 hours in 90 days to complete the battle pass then that's on you not the company. Even season 1 halfway through the season. I had the battle pass completed and didn't spend a dime on extra tiers. Anyone complaining about the battle pass was just delusional and did not want to put the time in

I’m pretty sure only the new pistol is burst fire. I think jackfrags just prefers tap firing for recoil control which makes it looks like all the weapons are burst.
There are only 2 burst fire weapons in the game, and are the New ones, so that is probably why he is using them a lot too
No. There are currently only 3 burst fire weapons 2 of which were added in season 2, in actuality theirs a huge variety of weapons from samurai swords, to riot shields, and even sawed off shotguns.
My only complaint is the use of AI for the announcers.

Still not gonna go back to The Finals, After they released update 1.4.1 the console aim assist gained this terrible feel to it and it just made the game unfun to where now none of my friends play it now because of this reason but hey I'm glad the people on Reddit and Twitter got what they wanted😑

The small amount of new weapons added look ass and no attachments/sights etc is lame. The Finals is a hard one to enjoy for me. I want a shit load of guns and attachments like all the older Battlefield games used to have, otherwise no true reason to grind out the game.
Unfortunately, me and my friends all dropped the game and I doubt we will play it again after season 1

They did balance classes. Recon senses is gone, heavies only get one c4 (so less nuking). Great changes imo.
