A spectacular work of reflection, patience and precision to make this work on a wood lathe, composed of Jatoba and white ash glued with deep blue epoxy resin.
The finish is provided by an enriched polish and then carnauba wax.

As a person who has loved all kinds of decorative boxes and lidded containers most of my 70 years, I find this piece to be fabulous and fascinating. I might never put anything in it, but just the sheer joy of being able to open in and look at the beautiful inside would be all the "treasure" I'd ever need to begin with!

When you were mixing the epoxy and resin, I was hoping you would use blue and you did. Thank you. What a stunning piece. With the 2 colors of wood then the blue. I 💘 😻 💜 it.

Bravo Morgan, c'est tout (simplement ) superbe, le travail en amont de la phase de tournage, la réflexion et calcul doit être énorme, utilises tu un logiciel informatique pour les calculs dimensionnel .

Alan Yes, the resin should not be wasted so I proceed in small quantities 😉
You are such a joy to watch...your result...Breathtaking. ...(I really think some of your work deserves a pedestal...with your imagination and talent I think you could come up with something truly spectacular. I could see the amazing bowl you just made with a well-turned pedestal attached, for instance)
