Used to watch Bob a lot back in the day, loved his style. It was ASMR before it was a thing. I would just chill out while watching as he talked and painted me right into a world untouched by man. And sometimes, at that moment when all the strokes and layers of paint had finally come together, into something I personally was totally satisfied with, BAM! He slices right through a third to a half of that peaceful, colorful mountain meadow with a glob of dark brown paint to outline... the presence of man! No matter how much I prepared myself for it, it always jolted me out of my slumber. But by the end of the episodes, Bob always manages to harmonize man's presence within nature, i.e., a simple rustic structure with NO, actual people around.

It was like you were looking at a color photograph of the place he was painting. It is neat how he can paint his cabins with a knife and the realism he'd add to em. But to me, his cabins kinda spoiled that absolute masterpiece of a nature scene in some cases.
Agreed there were so many beautiful pieces of nature he had drawn and was like “now lets add some buildings in here” and I’d just be like “noooo please it’s beautiful”
Very true
“Your world you can do whatever”
Bob would be the art teacher I'd want, you would literally never have to stress about anything and you can just relax to his voice. No stress at all.
I wonder who was calling 31:00 into this
I travel a lot, most of the time I’m alone without my wife and my kids. And the best thing that happened was discovering Bob Ross on KZhead. I feel like I have a friend that I can talk to every day. God bless his soul
U took me back bro
i love bob ross
It's sad that such nice and humble people like Bob pass away, like why all the good people 🥲
And he was only 53.
Exactly
R.I.P. LEGEND
It's astonishing to me to paint with a knife. It's even more astonishing to paint masterpieces with a knife!
Is Bob Ross a good artist? I've never seen one of his paintings. I fall asleep as soon as his soft voice starts naming the colors he's going to use
Now imagine if they had given bob a hour time slot instead of 30 minutes the paintings would like even better
Everyone gangsta till Bob pulls out the Titanium Hwhite
This is awesome!!! Thank you
"Barnactomy" 😂❤
"cabinectomy" 😄💗
I enjoyed watching his show every day when I was a kid. Even then I felt how soothing and relaxing he made me feel. His cabin paintings were always my favorites.
👍
So soothing. This really helps me sleep. Thanks Bob, I love you🎨
Funny that i started to watch his videos ages ago but i never thought it would become ASMR lol even though that's what it is without any of us realising it in the beginning
The man was a national treasure
The best
I grew up in Alaska watching him on PBS and I always thought he lived here and always wanted to meet him as a kid
Love bob and his paintings. His voice has put me to sleep many times.
Watching and listening to him makes me happy
God bless whoever did this compilation.
You'd think it took someone hours to color and texture all these individual boards in the cabin, and Bob's over here just, "And we bounce bloop-bloop-bloop-bloop-bloop."
Blank space: I hope you have a good night, and sleep well

Sound volume needs to be equalized
I think I’ll try to learn with 😴😴😴
Omg how did you know these are my favorite sounds 😭
He makes it look so easy…
I love the videos but feel sorta sad every time knowing that he's not around anymore. It really is sad. On his show at least, he just had such a positive attitude. Very infectious
that reminds me about a sad book called a dog’s life by ann m. martin
I suspect that today Bob is probably amazed and delighted at the size of his fan base. He is so beloved by so many viewers. The internet has made his painting shows so accessible, to people of all ages. (Edit: I meant that Bob is observing things today from heaven, of course.)
@@eduardo_corrochio He is not alive though.
@@StrategosBill I think most people know he passed away quite some time ago. He was 52 in 1995 when he died from cancer. In my previous comment I was speaking of Bob in the afterlife as he sees what's going on today. I'll edit my original comment to clarify this.
I know Bob passed away, but he wouldn't want you to be sad.
Thank God for Bob Ross, PBS, & the wisdom to make Bob Immortal! Don't ever 🛑!- Michael McClary, Professor of Trumpet 🎺, Georgia Perimeter College & GSU🎉😅
The best sound known to mankind
I think we’ve all had a relaxed and tingly reaction to a certain video in our lives before we even knew Asmr existed.
Bob Ross: 2 inch scraper, 20 minutes later a masterpiece. Me: stabbing canvas with 2 inch scraper 15 minutes in.
I got angry, cut holes in the canvass , broke up the frame and easel and created a modern art masterpiece called ; "the art of failure" It's currently on display in an alley next to a dumpster. (The dumpster was already full)

All Hail to the Founder & King of ASMR! When in my youth... I couldn't figure out why His voice was so calm & soothing... How everytime I'd somehow end up falling asleep to the sweet voice of this man... Now I finally understand it. And this is why after decades... I still humbly return to be soothed & hypnotized by his calming voice... The Art is just as impressive too!
I appreciate this. Really helped with a sudden lack of being asleep one night.
Here you go this is where you can find the cabin in a fall setting this is the winter setting
Bob got me into it - I will thank him when I see him . A beautiful experience . Great teacher . I have had many flight hours on youtube from 0 to wow .
The best ASMR ever. No one can top him, no way.

"Knife only." Yeah, my favorite Call of Duty mode!
Um dos melhores vídeos de Bob, mas não vou prosseguir: motivo: comerciais cortando a magia

For all my pregnancies, rest time was lying on the couch with a pillow under my feet and Bob Ross on the TV.
Having midroll ads on this is a crime.
This is so so relaxing😍
I remember one day my Mom was going out to run some errands. I was watching PBS, and the joy of painting was on. I had never seen it. I had heard of it, but never watched it. I decided to watch it, and I was hooked on it. I immediately got on my iPad and looked up more episodes of the show. For a long time now, I have been wanting to paint like Bob
You can do it. I started last year and have done some amazing work, if I do say so myself.
What a great soul he was 😔😊
Once you experienced Bob Ross..you'll ever find yourself accross! ❤
Goodnight everyone, I hope you sleep well

This man was asmr before an actual asmr 😂 he is definitely more than that, what a legend, when I want to sleep this man helps me most if the times
.75 speed is just right for me. Thanks, legend.
Bob was on at lunch in the 1980's in the breakroom where i worked.Ir was hard to get out of the chair and get back to work.
My favorite asmr video
I love his show, I was the same way, watch about 20 minutes and I would be fast asleep. God bless Bob Ross.
Sure miss him
Used to watch Bob a lot back in the day, loved his style.
ASMR has always been a thing
@David Jollie don’t be pedantic
@@kenhammscousin4716 I like being pedantic! Since I was a kid 🥴
@@davidjollie3807 do you not cringe at yourself
