  • Defense played lights out the last 18 mins. Aaron Rodgers is a MONSTER. No quarterback in the NFL can make the throws that he does & completes them. 1 of the best quarterbacks in NFL history. Hands down!!!💪💪💯

    • Some other QBs can make those throws, but none make it look so effortless. Like when he casually flips the ball 50 yards to Alison, thrown in a spot so perfect as if he was just handing him the ball.

  • Damn I remember losing my voice from this a game. Bears had new everything.. ALL new receivers and Tight end, NEW playbook and offense, NEW head coach, NEW Monster in Khalil Mack.. so to be up 17-0 felt like damn this coming together too fucking nice! Honestly think they would’ve won the game straight up if Rodgers didn’t get hurt, but him getting hurt then coming back gave y’all all the juice you needed 😭 and my voice was gone for the next 2 days for no reason at all 😂😂. Damn you Kyle Fuller for not catching that pick and then leading the fucking NFL in picks on the season 🙄.. would trade all those back for that ONE that you dropped at the end of this game lol. September 5th can’t come fast enough. Good luck to y’all this year! 🐻⬇️

    • You gotta think of it from a packers fan perspective, Rodgers second shorten season to a broke collarbone the year before. It honestly felt like he tore his ACL. Aha I am most certainly not arguing about your own opinion and that game is definitely a more improbable outcome and overall result from any odds perspective, but packers fan are always going to remember this game because it really felt like we were going to lose Rodgers for another season, which absolutely adds to the myth of this game for packer fans. Just some context on a packers fan perspective Beating the bears is always nice but people knew how crazy that bears D was before they ever played. It’s going to be a forgetton how crazy it all was not just because 21 points in the 4th

  • I had argued with a Bears fan extensively before this game about who would win, and I made him a promise beforehand that if the Bears won I would personally apologize for slandering his team. Around halftime when all looked lost I sent him a message with my apology and concession that the Bears were better, but I put in the caveat that should the Packers win by some miracle I wouldn't even come back and flaunt the victory. I am a man of my word, so I didn't rub this aaaallllll up in his face, even though I should have.

I'm sure there are other examples, including all the examples of Rodgers coming back to tie the game only to lose in OT without ever touching the ball. A lot more goes into a comeback than the play of the QB, but you people look for literally any excuse to hate on one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.

    • @@PedroMartinez-tt7lr No, but Dak Prescott then went down the field and put the Cowboys up by 3 with 1:13 left, and Rodgers went and won the game. I'm not saying Rodgers is always doing it, mostly because the games the Packers win they aren't needing comebacks. But, when the ball is in Rodgers' hands at the end of the game and the Packers are within reach to win or tie, they usually do. It doesn't happen often because usually they don't need it, or because the defense is so unbearably bad that it doesn't matter what Rodgers does.

Not because I was a poor sport or anything, I just thought when Rodgers went down the season was over before it started and following the wasted 2017 year, it was too heartbreaking to think of another entire season gone. When my brother (a bears fan) called me at half time to laugh at me, all of a sudden he stopped laughing, said $%&* a few times and hung up.
