  • You know what you do when they leave their clothes outside the hamper, you leave them there. Then on wash day you wash what's in the hamper only. When they ask why their clothes didn't get washed you tell them you only wash the dirty clothes in the hamper. Tell them that if they want them washed that's where they belong. Don't ever pick them up or you'll be doing it forever.

    • I’ve married for 55 years, probably the last 45 or so I’ve done my own. I do them the way I want them and how I want them, my wife the same. When we had children living at home it was up to them to do the same. We had foreign exchange students with us for many years, the first day with us they learned how to wash and dry their own laundry. For nearly all of them it was their first time doing laundry.

  • For all the ladies who have men who can't put laundry in the hamper:- Pick it up everytime and put it in a plastic bag next to his side of the bed or his 'chair', basically his favourite place. Do all the washing in said hamper. DON'T mention the laundry to him. 1: He will eventually run out of clothes and/or 2: He will get fed up of the smell from said plastic bag. He will enquire as to why you can't just pick up his dirty clothes and put it in the hamper and why do you have to make such a problem about it etc etc etc. Repeat his own words back to him, then walk away. YOU WIN! This worked on my husband.

  • Some of these aren't so bad, others, it's scary knowing these people can reproduce. If a guy wants to wear his socks in a funny way or eat his food in his own manner, let him. It's when bad habits affect other people that one should draw the line.

  • For the lazy @ss ones that leave their laundry on floor by hamper…I’d do laundry but leave theirs where it is u washed and say well, I washed what was in the hamper, I thought that maybe you wanted to wear them again. The level of laziness in this is mind boggling! I am so fortunate that my husband is AMAZING, he won’t used the last bit on the top but with how wornerful he is in every other way I can live with that. He does laundry, not the way I would but hey, he does laundry! I know there are tons of things that I do that make him cringe but we talk about the serious stuff and work around it. I couldn’t imagine living with a man baby that I’d have to clean up after, I didn’t have children and I refuse to clean up after an adult male!

I hope it goes away soon since it’s now on the top ten list of food allergies. I hope we will see burger places advertising “No sesame seed buns!” They will probably charge us extra 😢

    • I suffered with diverticulitis for close to 20 years. You'd be surprised how difficult it is to follow orders in a fast-food place, when you ask them for a seedless bun, or "no seeds" and as you are driving away from the drive-thru, unwrapping your burger, only to find no one was listening. I've had to pull into a parking lot or to a roadside, and do the same defiling to the bun. And, check the bottom bun, too. There's always three or four strays.

From all these complaints about how husbands mess up little ordinary kitchen tasks like loading the dishwasher or stacking plates in the cupboard, you would almost believe they didn't think those tasks were worthy of much attention, wouldn't you? You would almost believe they were sending a little message to you that they don't really care about the job you gave them to do. By the way, how well do you edge the lawn or break down boxes for recycling?

    @Unknown17@Unknown1711 ай бұрын

Put his next meal in one of those barely washed dishes and halfway through the meal point out the leftovers from last nights meal he’s eating again a day later then inform him that you will retrain him tonight on the proper way to load the machine.
