    • There were many incarnations of Star Trek. Star Trek TOS (The Original Series), Star Trek TAS (The Animated Series), Star Trek TNG (The Next Generation, featured in this video), Star Trek: Deep Space 9, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Enterprise, and more recently Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Short Treks, Star Trek: Picard, Star Trek: Lower Decks, Star Trek: Prodigy and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Plus several movies Based on Star Trek TOS: Star Trek: The Motion Picture Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan Star Trek III: The Search for Spock Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home Star Trek V: The Final Frontier Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country And following the "second star to the right and straight on til morning" was Based on Star Trek TNG Star Trek Generations Star Trek: First Contact Star Trek: Insurrection Star Trek: Nemesis and then the Kelvin timeline "reboot" Star Trek Star Trek into Darkness Star Trek Beyond I was an avid fan (grew up with TOS) and kept up with the franchise until the Kelvin Timeline and the newer franchises. I know many disagree but to me the Star Trek feel of the newer stuff is lacking and I can't generate any interest in even checking out the more current stuff. Star Trek TOS brought SciFi up and out of the "pulp fiction" classification most scifi had before it, and was willing to tackle current social/economic/political issues. The Kelvin Timeline just feels like someone trying to make a quick buck off of adrenaline junkies in an "action/adventure" format. Not to overlook all the timeline inconsistencies and illogical "kirk promotions". I haven't been able to bring myself to watch the 'after JJ Abrams' tv series stuff. To each their own I guess

  • I'm sure you worked hard on making this video, but channels that use dramatically fake or exaggerated title screens is not what draws me in. In fact, too me, it's like false advertising. I get that you're trying to attract viewers. Good luck with your channel 😀.

  • What about repeat actor in different rolls like Jeffery Combs, Ethan Phillips, or Marc Alaimo?

  • Did you really have to use that fake and distorted picture of Marina Sirtis? I mean, their are rumors that the costume department used to comment about how much of her entered the room before the rest of her, but her chest is not really anywhere near that large. I'm sure she's disappointed that she gets represented that way. I guess anything to get eyes on your post, right?

  • Marc Alaimo’s bigger role in Star Trek was Gul Dukat in Deep Space Nine. Chief Spoonhead. Anybody know if Riker still has Power of the Q? Picard ordered him to never use it again, but…

    • No, Q took it back in same episode. You just weren't paying attention.

    • @@tanyairwin3695 Since asking the question I’ve spent an embarrassing amount of time online looking for the answer, without a definitive resolution. There are countless discussion groups talking/arguing about it. Riker was ordered by Picard never to use his Q powers, and Riker agreed. That’s what I remember, that’s the prevailing consensus among Star Trek fans. Nobody I encountered remembers Q taking back the Q powers, at least not on the same episode. Should be easy enough to resolve - watching the episode again… unless Q changed it.
