When Hitler committed suicide in his bunker in Berlin, he managed to do what many others had tried to do for 20 years. This film explores how the fate of Europe and countless lives may have been very different if it hadn't been for the luck of the devil.

    • It's rather frightening that these obviously intelligent people didn't take refuge in other countries (when this was still possible)...as by the way a lot of people did - it is a fact that many (e.g. rich German lawyers) transferred their families to Britain, South America asf...I'm perfectly sure that many top brass members were constantly afraid of being arrested / hunted down - don't forget the Gestapo !

  • Rommel was not inspecting the troops/fortificaations when his car was attacked; rather he was on the way back to Germany to be with his wife for her birthday. He had even brought her a gift for her birthday: shoes. I believe that I am correct in making this observation.

  • 1/ tytuł nieprawidłowo przetłumaczony - nie ma w nim ani słowa o "szczęściu zbrodniarzy", ale o "szczęściu diabła" 2/ Ani słowem nie wspomina się tu o agresji na Polskę. Dlaczego? Bo wtedy trzeba byłoby przyznać że Polska została zdradzona przez swoich sojuszników zachodnich - a to przecież oni kręcą ten film.\

  • What is not mentioned is that despite he was cut for time and unable to activate the 2nd bomb, Stauffenberg choose not too leave both bombs together, he just got the prepped 1 in the briefcase and while he left the area, is reported to have thrown away the 2nd. IF he had left both together, when the activated one exploded would surelly ignite the second and the blast would be greater....

  • I have seen dozens of documentaries about WWII, namely about Hitler. This one, directed by Frederic Tonolli, has one of the best WWII movie selections I have ever seen. The historical background of Elser and the aristocratic Wehrmacht officers' endeavors is excellent. They tried in vain to kill Hitler but they live in our minds much more than that evil and sinister man .

Anche Mussolini subì 6 attentati famosi, tutti falliti. Poi nel 1947 alla Conferenza di Parigi tra vincitori e sconfitti, si decretò per l'Italia che i fascisti che durante la guerra avevano aiutato gli alleati non sarebbero stati perseguitati.   • Why do we get to watch footage from the greatest war ever and are robbed by scenes being blurred out. In my opinion you are hiding the main parts of a conflict eg, death and destruction. We as adults are not afraid to look at war footage as it really happened, not sanitized. You are changing history by editing footage.
