    • @craziism It means a few things, but I'd boil it down to: Others' thoughts about you aren't a part of you -- you shouldn't worry yourself over external things you can't control, because what truly matters is what's inside, what you think about yourself.

      @MrMertakhai@MrMertakhai5 жыл бұрын
    • @@MrMertakhai I wouldn't follow that for everything though. Most assholes don't believe they're assholes, and they may get absurdly mad if you suggest they are. Sometimes, it's good to get an outside opinion so it's not just yourself having some inner dialogue and coming to "obvious" conclusions.

      @nickv1212@nickv12125 жыл бұрын
    • @@MrMertakhai I definitely agree with @zeuanimals it's a deep statement only if you have a realistic world view while for sure people will just hate for no reason other people's opinions matter. While their opinion is what's in their mind part of who you are is how other people perceive you. Your self identity is yours alone but how other people identify you is who you are to them. Their image of you is who you are in their mind. No one has a 100% realistic idea of who they are objectively because your by default biased to yourself.
