Bookwyrm update: in the current version (1.20.1) the bookwyrm charm can be obtained by augmenting the ritual of awakening with book and quill it then can be turned into a familiar by rightclicking the charm on a Storage Lectern (Enchanting Apperatus: 4 chests and activate with a normal Lectern) then u can use the Ritual of binding like on all other familiars i just found that out by accident Thanks for your videos about Ars, they are so helpful and very well made. keep up the great work Cheers

I'm not sure if there was an update since posting, but bookwyrms can be summoned with a storage lecturn, not just any lecturn.

Summoning a bookworm in the old way does not work in version 1.19+. It can be summoned through the awakening ritual using the [books and quills] item.
I didn’t know this. As far as I was aware it was currently disabled by the mod author

How or what mod lets you see the percentage of source in the jars and all the other details like where things are set to go im in the latest update of the RAD 2 mod and i cant see any of that.
Did you ever figure out why the Starbuncle wasn't using the magebloom bed? I'm having the same issue

can someone please tell me how that damn bookworm works i just cant get it too harvest anything or bonemeal stuff i got source i got the spell and the wand he just sits there and does nothing
Is there any way to give Wixies an output inventory to deposit into? Right now mine just craft the item I’ve assigned them to, then throw it on the ground.
Get a starbuncle to gather the blocks and put it inside a chest; the Wixie cannot do that. 💗
Why do the amethyst golems not change it into budding amethyst anymore?
I tried to collect iron from an iron golem using Drygmy but could not do it. Is it possible to get iron from iron golem using Drygmy with this mod?

Didn't the wixie drop the crafting table on the potion jar because you tried to set that as storage before? Or did you try to set the chest off camera?

I play direwolf20 what mod would you recommend to get into, to be op I play with my friends but I want to get a bit of an edge
I have no idea what mods are in his packs. I know he changes it up for every update so I don't really know what to recommend
Idk why but there is no archwood forest in my world, there are just some random trees
You are missing the Terrablender dependency.
Has anyone gotten Wixies to pull ingredients from storage lecterns? I don't want to have a Starbuncle drain my centralized storage system of *all* crafting and brewing ingredients.
I believe wixies can only pull out of direct inventories. You are able to filter starbuncles however so they don’t drain everything

What am I looking at
I’m kinda sad about this update. Every single magic mod I have ever played ends up focusing on automation and building big machines. Now every single one has a specific recipe, and it’s own “magic school” but it’s just an excuse to use essence for the glyph which would be bad if every single one has the essence and you must focus on automating the area so you have enough resources for ONE glyph that isn’t even fun. It’s just for completion. You have to travel a thousand blocks to summon wolves that die instantly. You have to focus on getting every single creature for charms that aren’t even duplicating when you OWN them. I need starbuncle charms all the time but my own summoned starbuncle can’t give them. I have to go find a wild one to get one single one. Like, why
When you awaken a awaken an Archwood tree will it attack all who try to reach that position?
Also tip for your farms in your series for this mod you can leave voiding jars in inventories including chests to remove items you don't want like rotten flesh so you can farm iron or say almost broken bows from skeletons

Can I use Containment jar on villagers?!?
Not without a different mod. In creative they work on the Wither and you can time it to get both the flashing and regular Wither. Strongly recommended to only attempt if you have a mod that adds Wither-proof blocks to make a cage to hold the summoned mob.
@@waveclaw Doesn't do any good, though. Boss drops like Nether Stars and Dragon Eggs aren't Drygme-able.
@@bluesbest1 They do add another mob. Mobs without drops add more drops from the mobs that do.
the cauldron keeps saying "no recipe found" when I give it an awkward potion 😭
Is there netherwart near by for the wixie to grab from?
@@Mondays3 no, the problem apparently was that I was holding a stack of potions, a feature added by a mod, so the cauldron didn't recognize it..
