Ultimate German Food Tour | All the BEST foods in Munich!
We spent an entire day in Munich, Germany trying as much food as possible. This was not very easy in Germany where all of their foods are very filling and heavy. We tried pretzels, pork knuckle and so many other things that we had never heard of before. Food tours are such a great way to do a deep dive into a countries history and culture@
We can not talk enough about how much we love our Priority Pass. It has gotten us into dozens of airport lounges and has saved us hundreds of dollars. Plus its so much more relaxing to be in a lounge. You can get the Priority Pass for free when you sign up for the Capital One Venture X Card.
If you sign up using our link we will both get bonus points 😊

I love how you guys describe the food ^^
You had me at “caramelized rum”. 😋
That pork knuckle looked wonderful.. I had to laugh tho when you said "best hot dogs from Chicago". Thats like taking coal to NewCastle.
@5:29 did you say "esophagus" served with sauerkraut?!?
Wow amazing video!!!!
Thanks!!
Truthfully, nothing special!
@@YASTravelsEatsWell Atleast better than leaving only negativ comments on Videos from People who share their experience. Maybe go out there and do it yourself.
The "Schnitzel" is called "Cordon Bleu". You're welcome. ^^
I get hungry immediately!
Pan cakes for breakfast are rather strange for us as they are too sweet. Breakfast in Germany is very different, it's a shame you didn't show it in the hotel. But great video
Yea, rally! They don't know! Not important foodies!
Schnitzel never with sauce Squeeze a lemon on top and dip in cranberry jam
Yea, really! They don't know!
We're talking about German Schnitzel not Austrian one.
Every meat needs sauce. Except of Steak.
Wooow 🤤🤩
No Leberkaessemmel and Fleischpflanzerl?
Yea, really! Not real foodies!
Kaiserschmarrn is Austrian!
As a diabetic I feel so envious of those crunchy, crispy things you put in your mouth!
Yeah it's hard , but you can eat these right after intense workout, as after instense workout your cells don't need insulin to metabolise glucose so your blood sugar will not increase
@@pauldirc.. Really?
@@angelfriend5211 yeah as a biochemistry student that's what I have studied , you can eat it in limited amount , you can consult your doctor And It also depend on which type of diaetes you have , it's definitely possible in type 2 ( insulin resistance in cell ) Anyway from which country you are ?
BAVARIA solo munich ?!
A Krapfen for 2,80? Wow, that´s expensive.
No donat😊
😂you start your day with a langosh
We are Americans after all.
There is no wheat in bavarian potato dumplings. Seriously how would you get that idea. Because Gnocchi got flour mixed in? Making potato dumplings is quite a tedious process and my grandmother used to make them herself up until the early 90s. Theyre among the best side dishes ever. While its a very hard decision for me theyre slightly edged out by potato salad. If you never had a good potato salad in bavaria youre missing out. Gotta be careful though as regularly restaurants use pre made potato salad. If theres mayonaise in it then its not bavarian btw. Northern parts of germany do that and its just not for me. Way too heavy.
i need a gf
me too 🤣
Munich is actually not the right place for Currywurst. Its not really big here and i think generally in Bavaria and i think its also not that big in Baden-Würtenberg too, basicly the south. Its huge from Berlin to Cologne, basicly the center of Germany. But bavarians are way to proud of their own sausages to let some fast food steal the show. There is not many places to get Currywurst in Munich. Its like a handful of good places and otherwise you only get it at like lower grade kiosks here and there.
Right THE CURRYWURST came from Berlin and out of the Ruhrgebiet. It became an international fan food because it was a favorite of former Chancellor Schröder, othe4rwise it is more or less an ordinary fast food And if you tried out more exotic fare you might had added the German/Turkish Döner to your list. After all that one had been first done in a Berman - Turkish restaurant.
to ALL american ! Bavaria has nothing to do with Germany, but okay. the food isn't that different.
what has munich to do with germany? and btw. 50 euros for a brezel is outrageous, i know the bavarians are dumb, but not that dumb. and schneider weisse is a wheat beer brand. and a dumpling is a potato. ok. and it's called cordon bleu.
Well you seem like a nice Person. Maybe cool it down with calling someone dumb, while getting so many things wrong. She said the store that sells the Brezen is 50 years old. No Euro in sight. And he called the Knödel a potatoe dumpling, which is absolutely correct.
Yes, silly post on your part. 1) Bavarians are dumb? Bavaria and Saxony have the most demanding and best educational systems in all of Germany. b) Bavaria (as one of the richest states in Germany) is THE state in Germany which supports the poorer German states the most (in particular in the North and North East the most) by contributing - as one of 16 states - 60% of the "German states fiscal equalization scheme" (Länderfinanzausgleich). And, by the way, the majority of Bavarians are very nice and welcoming and not dumb at all. c) One Breze costs € 50,- in Bavaria???? Even Northern Germans (having a totally mediocre educational system) can't possibly be as dumb as to post something like this. But I guess I must be wrong in this case. Very strange - once again - that Bavaria's and Munich's great popularity with tourists from all around the world leads to posts like this.
My intelligence just took a critical hit reading this comment...
@@niall3714 have you ask the bavarian politicians about what they think about that matter? they are like the uk before they've left the european union with their stupid #brexit.. und jetzt kommst du.. ich bin gespannt :P aber ich könnte auf die extra-weiswürschte verzichten, bist woh auch so ein söder/csu-fangirl? herzlichen glückwunsch für deine intelligenz :P
