Different areas of the face require you to inject at different depths. It can be difficult to know the correct depths to be injecting and many injectors often worry about causing eyelid ptosis or other complications if they inject too deeply.
In this episode I break down the different areas of the face and the injection depths you need to stay safe and create the best results.

  • Would love to see depth on DAO’s . So much conflicting information. I realise there are different placements and depths in that area but it would be wonderful to have your point of view . Wonderful video and explanation, thank you .

  • What about the depressor supercilii? We often inject there here in Brazil, because we consider it an important entity of the glabellar topography. We insert the needle very superficially in this area

  • I’m an injector here, here’s why you shouldn’t go deep at lateral corrugator, Once in a while I did a supraorbital nerve block with lidocaine, some of the drug go through supraorbital foramen into the orbit causing the patient to have an eyelid ptosis during the effect of lidocaine due to numbing effect of the levator palpebrae superioris I was very anxious at that moment and figured out it was just lidocaine effect 😂

  • I'm a new injector, i always feel weird injecting the frontalis. I see you do at an angle. i always go straight in, in front of the patient, and i dont feel it is correct. Do you have any recommendations on the position?

  • That medial cortugator gets mr everytime so aftraid of nit going deep enough. How many mm is an average frontalis fibers overlying the corgs ar this location on a thin women. And how about the corrugator supercilii what would u recommend for that location?

  • Thanks so much for a very informative video.. You have the best way of explaining.. Appreciate all the efforts. A quick one, I was trained to inject the patient while they're sitting upright as we were told the toxin may migrate and cause unwanted results. I see most injectors do it with the patient lying down. Can you please clarify. Thank you 😊
