  • I loved making this as a kid, I still remember playing fnaf 1 in minecraft with friends with them being animatronics and me a security guard. fully working doors and energy mechanics. We used a timer with long redstone lines to indicate how much power was left and it would go down about every 2 minutes, and after that was done we would cut off everything that gives the pizzeria power, making the doors, lights comepletely useless, the most I remember that time was the long redstone lines going on forever, man I miss playing with friends in minecraft. This was about 8 years ago.

  • Hey Cuppa, absolutly loved the video and all the creations, i do have a couple of suggestions to make it a slight bit better from my own experience, 1. Maybe use a written book with clickable locations, and word art to look like the map of the pizzaria 2. Put the player into spectator mode and make them spectate an armor stand. This can make the armor stand slightly pan to the right and left automatically. 3. Use a bossbar at the top of the screen to show power

    @AvgYomiWizard@AvgYomiWizard8 ай бұрын
    • Thank you for the suggestions, and I'm glad you've enjoyed the video. This map isn't perfect by any means, as it was my first test to get better with command blocks. As I've remade the remaining 5 games, those maps progressively got more advanced. I did two live streams last month where I revisited this map to implement some of the new mechanics I've learned, but these recreations were always just made to be tests. Thanks again!

  • Here is an improvement to the item frames. If you make the item frames builds on the map at 60 degree's off the ground you can have them look for "Shadowy" so they don't glow in the night. Also, there is a special command to make item frames unbreakable and un-moveable, when you tried to close the door you accidentally rotated the item frame. Here is the command: /data merge entity @e[type=item_frame,limit=1,sort=nearest] {Fixed:1b,Invulnerable:1b} Just go near the item frame you want to be UN-MOVEABLE and paste in the chat, I recommend doing this to every item frame to make it actual decoration and not seem like item frames. The rest is pure beauty.

  • A few things if you really want to go the extra mile. Movement opportunities are random in that the animatronics may or may not move. It's all dependent on the hidden AI difficulty. Speaking of AI difficulty, the reason why on night 1 Bonnie starts moving at 2 AM is because his AI is set to 0 and the increments by 1 at 2 AM. 1 AI point is a 5% chance of being able to move. Nights last 8 and a half minutes long. Starting on night 2, you lose 1% power every 6 seconds, and this gets faster by 1 second every night until night 5, which stays at a constant 1% every 3 seconds. (May be too complicated, idk) Bonnie teleports. Freddy never backtracks.

They were later put out of use when multiple and simultaneous spring lock failures happened at a central location. we do not know when or where this happened, all we know for sure, was that the safe rooms were the perfect place for some delusional child killer to conveniently experience a springlock failure and die.

    • I built it a 1.5 years ago but got deleted. But I would recommend you to use the scoreboard command for the power usage, I realized that his power usage system is not that good cuz they'd decrease the same amount of power. And group the cams together too, unlike how he did it (which are limited by the amount of space in the hot bar) I divided them into 2 halves, activate 1 to get access to cam 1-6 and 2 to get to cam 7-12. And when you're looking at the camera, the animatronic you're looking at stops. Also I noticed that the light buttons are useless here too so maybe dim the light, adds in brightness

      @James42_@James42_ Жыл бұрын
    • @@James42_ These are actually great suggestions you should comment them outside my replies! The power system should somehow drain faster if the player is using both the cams, doors, and lights at the same time. There should also be a system where the command blocks detect the animatronic is at the door but makes them invisible if the lights aren't turned on. They're only turned visible (if they're outside) once the lights are turned on. But still, I'm very impressed by the cams system and how he made the animatronic's random chance movement.

    • @@Anaoa_Official I want to help you with the power, so if you don't know how to use the scoreboard command, you could use readstone instead. I did it by using a double chest with items inside to recreate power. The. You put 2 hopper underneath it. Both are locked by using red stone. 1 hopper can be turn off to let the power go down when you're using the cam. The other is when you're using the door. But it only works with 2 veritable door and cams , But you could make the hopper flow slow down too by constantly changing on and off So if you turn on the light and close the door, you could let it flow down at full speed by turning off the red stone. This enabling to add in the third veritable, the light. If you want to do it with the scoreboard command, it'll be much easier and less complicated( only a few command block, rather than a huge redstone system) ,but it's hard to explain. I'd try my best to explain it if you want to, don't afraid to ask

  • This is really really cool! I love the use of coral for the walls, its a very creative use for the block. The build itself is just immaculate. The animatronic AI is pretty well done, but have you by chance seen the tech rules video about their AI? Could lead to a more accurate experience. Also with the cameras and the doors with power, I feel like there probably shouldve been some stacking of timing involved in that, since otherwise it would be optimal to close doors before flipping through (Would take trial and error but maybe using scoreboards?). All in all though, this is seriously cool and seriously inspiring!

  • While the throwing items idea is great, it could be greatly improved with chat triggers (where you click on a piece of text which runs a command). This would avoid the completely immersion-breaking process of actually openning your inventory. Along with this, the power system could be improved using scoreboards instead of actual in-game timers. A scoreboard is far more versitile and precise, allowing you to set an exact time for the power system (along with being able to easily display the percentage power whenever you need/on the side of the screen). The scoreboard would also allow for multiple inputs (so if you have BOTH doors closed the power would go down faster). Time would also be able to be controlled by scoreboards - they are extremely useful. As for movement, I would (personally) recreate the actual movement script as best as possible from the OG game (every few seconds the animatronic has a "turn", which can move him on a set path if a randomly generated number is reached. There would be branching paths every now and then.) Something that I did notice is that there is nothing stopping you from leaving the room. Of course leaving the room is VERY much needed, but during "night time" the only thing that allows for is exploitation. Having even just barrier blocks spawn as soon as the night begins would prevent this method of tracking animatronics and, overall, make the game slightly more realistic - not really a critique of you or this work, just a little thing I would do (I work in making "actual" games and testing them, so I am slightly more aware of this stuff than is really rational) Using my movement method you could use (yet more) scoreboards in order to time the jumps between areas, allowing for easy modification and, in this case, a VERY simple night system (where each animatronic is enabled seperately like irg e.g. Freddy only enables night 3(?) and the timer inbetween movements is lowered exponentially). This would impliment an element of luck into the game, which no one likes, but it would be true to the original. I'm not saying you have to be EXACTLY like the original, creativity is exactly what we need, but the original clearly did SOMETHING right. I love this map, it is truly amazing, and I am sure that all of your others are great as well.

  • I believe using a scoreboard for the power detection would have been a better method. This is because you can cause the amount of power drained to increase as more is being used (Example: using 1 door compared to using both doors and lights). With your method, it is a constant drain if anything is being used. With the scoreboard method, it is a linear drain as your power usage increases. Also, using redstone dust instead of redstone repeaters whenever you can is (usually) a good idea for making contraptions run more quickly and feel more responsive.

In a way you could drag all of the camera items into your inventory instead of the hotbar, which would make it less awkward to go into your inventory for only 3 slots. This also means you could somewhat mimic the shape of the camera system by slotting the items into a formation on the bigger space provided, like in tbe actual game.
