  • Nice one boys. 👍 I too hate going through bog holes. I always avoid them, and I only go through them if there is no way around it or an alternative route. My 4WD is not a garage queen. It gets used as intended, but I do like to look after it, and I do like to keep it as clean as I can. Mud always make a mess in the engine bay of my LC80, and as you'd know it's a bugger to clean - especially bog mud. Loving the content of your channel. Keep it up. 👌

  • Should do a leaf over axle conversion my old 79 series had one fairly simple but might need engineering

    @brendanbillinghurst6869@brendanbillinghurst68692 жыл бұрын
  • Any thoughts on mounting the diffs under the leaves? Would give you lift and clearance . Also when your front diff open centres and throws the power to one wheel ,try tapping the brakes and it can help even out the distribution of power to both front wheels. Kinda like man powered traction control.its saved me a few times on the muddy clay.

    @mechanic7430@mechanic74302 жыл бұрын
    • Mounting the diffs under the leaves would give it a massive lift and you need to extend so many things and it would be impossible to engineer and therefore be very illegal. Would be easier with stock leaves and take a leaf or 2 out to sag it a bit but then you would need a way to mount the leaves to the axle so you need fabrication to be done on the diffs
