The issue is VAR can be more easily used by the refs for corruption. This is a classic case. Refs let a Massive amounts of pushing and shoving during the play, all game. But the second Wolves score you go to VAR and find some minor infraction and access a penalty or take back the goal. Because the players thought this was the normal play that was being allowed by the refs. If they are going to use VAR for this infraction then they must use VAR for ALL OF THESE INFRACTIONS THROUGH THE GAME….OR NOT!!! It cannot be adhoc accessing.

I am not even a Wolves fan, but I believe that goal should have stood. There was no legitimate reason for the goal to have been disallowed. Even the Bournemouth players were surprised. Kluivert himself did not even protest or claim to be fouled. Absolutely terrible decision by VAR.

Moaning about VAR when frankly Wolves played terribly!!. If we are scrabbling around for VAR decisions to go our way whilst ignoring the overall trend of being utterly lack lustre and devoid of creative play then we will forever be wallowing in obscurity. We have long since realised VAR isn’t our friend and rather than moaning about it we simply need to play more decisively and put the games beyond doubt. Control what you can control and don’t sweat the technicalities that never go our way.

@@iykeharrison9161 Cunha has fouled the defender during the build up to the goal. It was a textbook example of foul during build up play that changed the situation. He hit him and then there was a space that was necessary to the cross. They got that space because of the foul, so VAR was right to disallow it.

If there was, which I can clearly see in the footage, than according to the current rules it should be disallowed. I know the rules sometimes are too soft, but the refereeand the VAR followed them, which is obviously their job, and made the correct decision according to the rulebook.
