Conor McGregor's joint venture to own Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, a competition with the UFC, is attracting interest amid his strategic expansion into the combat sports business.
Conor McGregor has made headlines again, this time by signing a major partnership with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, a rival organization of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
McGregor's involvement with the promotion, where he previously served as a sponsor, marks a strategic step in expanding his business efforts.
In a formal announcement, McGregor conveyed his excitement, stating, “Ladies and gentlemen, the huge announcement that I have for you today, Conor McGregor myself and McGregor Sports and Entertainment is now an owner of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships. Welcome to the big leagues. David Feldman, baby, we did it.”
Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship has attracted a number of former UFC luminaries to its ranks, including former champions Mike Perry, 32, and Luke Rockhold, 39.
Despite these high-profile signings, founder David Feldman has maintained a friendly stance with UFC President Dana White, dispelling any notions of discord.
In a recent development, Feldman met with White, highlighting the potential alignment of interests despite operating in parallel sectors of the combat sports industry.
