We saw fleurys diving glove save 12 times😂
Had to express how good it was 😂
I've seen better
@@johnnyc790 congrats didn’t know you were that cool
Didn't know you were such a boy.
Would have thought Andre Vasilevskiy would have made the list with his behind the back glove save
That should have been # 1
@@evanspeirs6578no💀
He should’ve been where Lunq was tbh
@@114MrCool def should be number 1 name 1 other goalie that has done a behind the back glove save no looker no one
agreed. Much more impressive that the nashville "behind the back" save
Uh, as a Rangers fan, why is a typical Lundqvist glove save better than a diving Fleury?😂 The King has so much better saves than that😂
HENRIK THE GOAT!
How is Lundqvists standard glove save over. The first few? And ahead of Fleury’s diving save?
I appreciate mantioning 10th place Domink Hašek. Since this save he made in cca 2008 and from that time all nhl goalkeepers made many stunning saves. Thats great honor to Dominator who introduced or got crazy all nhl world in 90s by making imposible 2nd effort desperate save something casual every period 👏👏👏
Respect to the other goalies, but all ten could have been Hasek highlights.
i think you should add vasy’s glove behind the back save
Could have made a top 10 just from Bobrovsky and Hill from the 2023 Stanley Cup Finals. Hill's stick save should be on this list.
Mrazek's save on Boyle was something else too!
Replace Lundqvist with Malcolm Subban’s save. Otherwise a great selection of clips.
Tell me you're not a goalie, without telling me.
I think next save was with fleury, when blocked the first one it bounced up and he flipped around onto his side and stopped the puck when it couldn't have been more than the width of a piece of paper. Can't remember who against tho, either that or his literal cup winning save in 09
how is rask not on this list
Lundqvist didn't even move his glove until the puck was already in it. How did that save defy physics? That save happens multiple times a game, every game. The Brathwaite save is the most physics defying save ever. Where was that?
Caron’s save should be number 1 but as a caps fan I’m not complaining
Not having sebastian Caron on a list like this is an absolute crime. Sorry
The fact that no one else mentioned the Caron save shows y’all need some research
Price vs Ovi + Price vs Spezza ???
Think you need to watch more hockey. Good list though.
Not even a penguins fan but travesty that caron’s save wasnt on here, also honerable mention, one of my personal favorites is antero nittimaki’s whirlwind glove save on patrik elias
no hill save of the year.. but at least you put fleury in there
Nabbys save against the stars should of been there no doubt!
For the timing of it, that is one of my favorite saves of all time. When it mattered most, his little go go gadget arm stretched as far as it could.
Dominater could have been all 10.
Nick Suzuki was surprised he was still alive
What about Hank’s save vs Boston opening night 2013??!!!
Carons Save is missing!!!
Amazing top 15,except for the Lundqvist save. Not that it wasn’t a nice one, it’s just that he did it so often it was more of a common thing. Otherwise great top 15!!!!!
Adin Hill’s paddle save is a great honorable mention.
I know save of the year.. come on
You mean the one where he was out of position and the Florida player whiffed on the shot? Not to mention he threw a blocker punch 10 minutes into the game and the refs looked the other way.
How about Cristobal Huet's Scorpion Kick save in the playoffs?
caron on savage? roy on wilson? cujo on nieuwendyk?
The Bob save and the Lundqvist one were good saves granted, but nowhere close to defying gravity.
Why was an easy glove save from Lundqvist on the list?
Think you showed enough of that fleury save
😫 Of all the freaking saves why did they put the Holtby save in? 5:15
Pekka was underrated was pulling for him to win a cup against Pittsburgh
Nashville vs Dallas will always be a fun rivalry
Fred Brathwaite in Calgary diving back stick save.
Brossoits save vs dallas should be up there
That Lundqvist save does not belong on this list :D
Brodeur's is the third best scorpion save at best haha. I guess most people haven't seen that many clips outside of the past 10 years though.
Kipper had a great one.
@dannycarlow8204 Hasek did it many times too, and most were better. Interesting list though, some good saves here.
@@cluberti For a list of saves that defied physics it's odd that Brathwaite's reach back stick save wasn't on it. Hasek didn't use physics when he ruled the league. Those silly rules didn't apply to him. His mastery of the position would rule any era.
Where is Patrick Roy
1:53 I was not ready….
3:49 after rinne made the save he threw his stick at ekholme after he got hit with the puck!! Poor matias
Just wanna mention that fluery is my favorite gk meanwhile he robs my COUSIN with a diving save 😅😂😊❤❤❤
It’s one of my favorites too, love how everyone reacts to the save.
The fact that none of Ryan Miller's are on here at all is a crime, a sin, a travesty, and a testament to how underrated he was.
Bro thatcher demko
When he does something worthwhile, he can be in a video. Unless that video is about goalies who disappoint, then of course he's in as is.
How are all these saves defying gravity
What did you expect? Goalies flying everywhere?
#1 shouldn't be #1 Also ½ of the running time surrounds ONE Marc Andre Fluery save
how Thomas save against the leafs is not there is just criminal
Lundquist makes routine save and makes the cut but none of Ryan Millers miraculous saves make it??
Lundqvist had a routine goal save lol how is that a highlight
No Adin Hill? I feel robbed as a Vegas fan. I feel it’s better than Fleury’s glove save.
Fleury robbed the Toronto player. The Florida player whiffed on the shot completely. Not to mention Hill threw a blocker punch 10 minutes into the game and the refs ignored it.
ur tripin blud where is vasi????????????
I really like this I wonder who made this channel first comment you deserve 65 million subscribers if you make more nhl videos😃
Appreciate that so much!
@@behindtheboards I am subbed as well can you make an nhl video about best goals of all time?
For sure, thanks for the suggestion
I can't disagree with any of the folks you picked, all amazing players, but I admit I expected to see something from Potvin and maybe a better offering from Henrik as he had better.
How is Fred Brathwaite not there ? Should be #1
so i take it theres fleury fans in this video
kinda surprised Miikka Kiprusoff didnt make the list with this save(s) kzhead.info/sun/g9VxeK2nj2iupXA/bejne.html
Wait why tf was the #6 on here 🤣
I also question #6
Saros is best❤
Adin Hillxs stick this year in the playoffs was better than Holtbys
Hasek had 30 saves better than this entire list
Not sure why Hanks save was in there... Not that impressive
That’s Lundquvst glove save wasn’t even top 10 for him
Why is the Lundqvist save in here? The guy shot it into his glove then he just windmilled it. This isn't anything impressive
Malcolm Subban, Andrei Vasilevsky Thatcher Demko and Sebastion Caron Over Lundqvist (a common save) Brodeur (Demko's was better) Hasek (He's the Goat but he made those saves commonly) and Thomas (dude's a prick so fukem)
Dominik Hasek the Best there was the best there will ever be !!! He was a god here in Buffalo New York. Prove me wrong
Not even god could perform the miracle of bringing a cup to Buffalo.
Hasek is the best but don't say the best there will ever be there's a guy down in Tampa Bay coming for him
@@allannixon5113 He's not bad, but look at the Is defense he's always head in front of him. Who did hasek have here in Buffalo? Zhitnik McKee and Warner woolley. Not bad defenseman but none of them could hit the net. Hasek faced over 40+ shots per night
@@allannixon5113 That guy in Tampa better pick up the pace then because he is nowhere close to Hasek when you compare the first nine years of their careers. Vasi led the league once in shutouts and led the league in wins 5 times which is more indicative of team play. Never led in save% or GAA. Hasek led in shutouts three times, save% 6 times and GAA twice in his first nine years. We haven't even gotten into the hardware and that's a blowout in favour of Dom. Dom also played against prime Mario, Jagr, Hull, Yzerman, Selanne and many other greats, not to mention 9 years of Gretzky. I'm not saying he isn't great, just saying he has a lot more to prove in the second half of his career to be mentioned with Hasek.
Flurey Was better than num 6
Do you know what ‘defying physics’ means? Physics and geometry and other sciences easily explain every clip ... sorry 1/10 ... just because nothing is 0.
Not that serious dude lol
Got scientific in the youtube comments
Its a fucking youtube title bro get over yourself
#6 was not special
Omg the number 4 sounded terrible yes I am a Canadian but that was the most American announcing ever lol 😂 😅 😂 pretend you have played the sport at least…. The next thing is that they will be calling it “ice hockey”…..
piiping sound between sucks, so damn bad choice, i didnt watch video to the end
Cool
hanks save vs the habs and boston is better than this save
Adin hill was better
