The koi you got is likely a Chagoi. They are some of the least expensive koi. With koi the flashier they are the more eye catching the more expensive and as close to standard. The butterfly koi you recently got are probably worth more.

For the most expensive Coi is the red and white and I would think they would be 85$ to 90 I guessing
The axotols in pet trade are hybrids I want say
he looks more like a golden carp than a koi to me. They are related though. But I am far from being any kind of expert.
