Just a suggestion: I have started bleeding my catches, especially ones with a strong blood line like your Cubera. 1 quick cut through the gills on one side and they bleed out in seconds. Then throw it in the ice. The meat tends to be pure white all over (no blood left in it).

I am so envious, one of my wishes were myself and my thirteen year son go fishing in the ocean. After a day of fishing in lake havasu my chore was to clean all the fish my family caught, and it was always a huge amount of cats, crappies,large mouths,and stripers. My family always ate everything we caught, because we were poor we kept the freezer packed with fish and game,I also had to clean quail, rabbit, rattlers and an occasional deer. Watching you catch, clean, cook brought back a flood of memories, all good and fun! Thank you for the video I am grateful!

Yeah Soccer Girl and he never wears a life jacket and it looks like he's alone. It would be awful if he jumped up on the bow of the boat, slipped, hit his head and went overboard. And he's got a wife and two precious little daughters. I don't know what people have against wearing life jackets. They're not that uncomfortable at all. NO one seems to wear them there!

HEY ROBERT! Another awesome video. I can't tell u how much u have taught me since I started watching. This channel has grown so fast bcuz u are living the life that most people dream of. Only difference is u are willing to get out and do it instead of dream or talk about it. My Daddy always taught me the difference between winners and losers (his words, not mine) was winners will always be willing to do what losers are not. Not that others are losers, but I guess he was saying don't be afraid to go after your dreams, whatever that is in life. I grew up every weekend on the Lake of The Ozarks and it is some of my fondest memories of childhood to this day. I live in MW and am here in Fort Lauderdale cuz I lost my Daddy last year and trying to take care of some legal things. But u r a lot like him in the ways that he was a self made man, never expected anything from anybody, and just went for whatever it was he wanted. He was quite accomplished and traveled to over 217 countries at the time of his death at 78. Still working in the yard building sea walls and landscaping his yard on the daily! It brings me a lot of joy to see u do some of the things we did together as a child. He taught me to fish, swim, we went boating, taught me how to shoot a gun (I'm pretty good if I do say so myself!) and how to be an independent woman. You are a lucky man and u have a beautiful family. I know u don't take it for granted and it is wonderful to see u all sit down for dinner as a family and pray. Something that is rarely done in this day and age. I believe that is part of the disconnect with this current generation. We seem to have lost the sense of family. So good to see someone still holding on to good values and who appreciates life for what it truly is. A gift Take Care, God Bless and I am Gone! : ) TOODLES NOODLE
