Best vocalist but . . . definitely not singer. He ping-pongs in and out of genres so much in a single song it sounds more like he is doing a KZhead challenge to see how many times he can switch before the song finishes and it's done in a way where you don't question his vocal talent but you do question his ear for musicality. Like once the shock of " Woah he did that " wears off it's not something you'd listen to in the car or that holds your attention or ear for years to come.

No wonder why he’s considered to have the best voice in the world right now.
Look at the Gregory Lemarchal's version ;)
Léa Monnier Mmm ... it doesn't even reach Dimash's heels 😅. He not only lacks voice, but also interpretation. My opinion..
@@fernandobusilachi7787 I agree for the heels but not for the interpretation (as a french I understand the lyrics, and gregory gives much more emotion. this song is related to his background!) Unhappily he died from a disease few months after wining
Léa Monnier I didn't know he was dead. Given the lyrics and their illness, I agree that their interpretation takes more strength. May he rest in peace with all due respect.

I'm French and this song really means something to us. It has been heavenly sung by an amazing singer, who died from Mucoviscidosis, who made it his signature song. As of now, everyone who sings it, are automatically compared to him and no one so far has sung it better than him. I have to admit, I'm really impressed here. Dimash sings it at the perfection.
Thank you! 💕🇩🇪

I swear to God I have never seen a singer like DIMASH . He has an enormous range of E1-D8 and also his ability to connect with the song is on another level . He can sing Bass , Baritone , Tenor and Soprano and also he can sing in different languages such as Kazakh , English , French and Russian . So my conclusion is that he is not from this world
That true
He is from this world, he just practices a lot, we all can be experts and amazing If we practice and make it unique.
I wouldn't count the E1 personally, it was done on a growl
Baritone lowest at best. not bass. that's a stretch. agree that he's really good though.
I'd argue the original singer had more range (especially on the lower end). And yeah, you could say he "can" sing in French, but it would be absolutely impossible to understand what he's saying without subtitles. It's not like he learnt the language. By this standard, anybody can sing in any language.

Why? Just curious to know.
@@5229538 It’s not important song. It’s a song which is very popular in talent shows because it ’s a very difficult one. The song is from a very popular rock opera called Starmania written by Michel Berger, a very famous singer and composer, and Luc Plamondon a very famous lyrics. The original singer was Daniel Balavoine, who was and still is one of the most popular french singer. He died in 1986 in an helicopter crash in Africa.
@@isabelle133 Indeed. it's not the song that counts, but Daniel Balavoine himself. Because he was certainly a singer, but also a rebel who fought and was constantly worried about the youth, he did not hesitate for a second to tell Francois Mitterrand that his policy was bad. The song marked its time with its technical prowess. The artist has marked the world with his person and his ideals. He is for us, French, one of the most important artists.
