  • As a former aircraft tech, and usually doing my own car maintenance, it’s reassuring to see your thoroughness. Correct torquing, good husbandry, clear instruction, I’m here because I’m considering a Bentley in the future. Thank you.

  • Like the detail, but very impressed with your addressing the "little" things that are generally over looked by less concerned "professionals". Great video and editing.

  • Not only are you an extremely knowledgeable young man but you are very articulate and have therefore created a professional video detailing this nightmarish task. Your family should all be very proud of you. May God bless you and keep you as always.

  • I watch alot of videos as a ASE certified master tech, I am not a factory trained tech, I received most of my certifications working at direct repair body shop doing frame work, I framed cars for one company for 5 years straight everyday and worked at a shop where you had the choice if you were trained you could frame your own jobs or have one of 3 full time frame guys do it, and of course I did my own and loved it made it much easier during the reassembly process, but my point is this guy has made one of the best and precise videos I've ever seen. Two thumbs up brother keep up the quality videos.

    • I take back everything I said after seeing you use cutters to reinstall those clamps BAHAHA JUST KIDDING, I myself know exactly where you are coming from using some tools for different things that they are not really designed for but work excellent because of all the experience you have, you are one heck of a mechanic I wish I knew everything you know when I was your age, ignore the know-it-all corrector crybabies, don't even waste your time replying and again keep making these awesome videos.

  • This video is extremely well done! I own a 2012 Continental GT and wanted to do this myself. I watched the video 2 times and then dove in. It turned out perfectly. Just to give reference to what this would run, the independent shop that I use to do service work on my car wanted close to $900 just for the labor. A dealership would have been way more. Thank you for putting content with this quality of information and clarity out for us to use.

  • Hey. Thank you very much for putting this Video online. it was extremely helpful with first step and pointing to potential problem avoiding areas. Followed your guide and total success. Please note that you do not have to remove vacuum lines in order to change 2 front rows on plugs and replace gasket. 3h of labour and all done safe way. Many thanks and look forward for future videos!!!

  • I just wish you did this awesome video a few months earlier...took me 8 long hours to do this very same job, trying to figure out what should remove and how to reach the spark plugs. Luckily for me i just drive about 2000 km per year on this one, so, next spark plugs change would be on my retirement age..... thanks Mr , your job is real delicate. So bad bad I live so far away to bring you my cars for maintenance. Keep up with the good work.

  • Great Video and very, very thorough. You articulated everything very well and did a great job of explaining why to do or not do some things (Like don't touch them with your hands) I appreciate your showing the part numbers as a confirmation on the ones I had listed for my 2005 Contiental GT. I am going to change my own, since this is going to be a project car for me, but I could pay someone to do it, but where would the fun be in that.

  • Great video and it supports my thinking as to why you get main dealer or independent specialist to maintain your Bentley. If you can't afford to pay then you really can't afford to own one because remember any sales person will get you finance to buy one but it's what comes after that's important. Also maintaining one yourself with no proven stamps or invoices will affect resale value so your savings actually become losses. Still if I win the lotto one will be on my shopping list, great cars...

  • I noticed that one person commented that he had gotten a DTC P0301 after changing plugs. I happen to own a 2005. It has always been serviced by the dealer. There was a "quiet" recall and the AD replaced all 12 ignitors,and the fuel filter under a factory recall. FYI to any fellow car people who suffer from the beautiful exotic car virus. .

  • This is a great video. Only thing I’d do different is put a small amount of anti seize on the plug threads and intake manifold bolts. But that’s just my opinion.

    @wholelottamiata6976@wholelottamiata69762 ай бұрын
    • That changes the torque and no manufacturer recommends it

      @SuperMarioDiagnostics@SuperMarioDiagnostics2 ай бұрын
    • @@SuperMarioDiagnostics I’m aware it changes torque. But when you strip enough threads out of aluminum components from galvanic corrosion you start to see its benefits. Anti seize manufacturers give a value or instructions on how to calculate a torque adjustment for their product. So you still have a properly torqued fastener, and you’ve extended the lifespan of the threads in the part you’re threading into. Bentley says the manifold bolts are torque to yield, so a well calculated torque percentage adjustment will still stretch the fastener to spec.
