Agratronix I don't think actually manufactures them in house. I believe pieces are made elseware and they're assembled there in Ohio. I also believe they're now a 2 year warranty vs a 3. They were a 3 year warranty up until about couple of years ago. Gallagher carries a 3 year, parmak does as well, and so does speedrite. The Cyclops brand Manufactured in Asheville Alabama, which is another US made brand, makes one model that's a size bigger than that 24 joule Power wizard. The Cyclops Boss, 32 output joules. You have a decent unit there though.
I've worked on a handful of these units over the years. They're relatively trouble free minus lightning surges, fluctuations in ac power or dirty AC power, and brown outs and black outs. They're pretty sensitive to that sorta stuff, but parts are available, we stock most of them here. But for the price per joule, they're pretty good units.

What do you use to keep the brush down? I am going to fence a distance that could be close to a mile.
I use a total vegetation herbicide . I think it is RM24 from tractor supply co.
Will this work with polywire?
Yes. I use poly wire on my temporary cross fences.
@Rolling "O" Farm I read that poly wire effectiveness is no more than 500-800ft then there is a significant drop off. I just found this out last night when I did a little research after seeing my cows outside the fence from a 2 joule unit. Figure 24joules out to do the trick.
