    @Opus313@Opus3132 жыл бұрын

      @MK42Dragon@MK42Dragon2 жыл бұрын
    • I'm sure Matt Damon will know how to pad the story. Start with Mickael Packard's childhood, continue with how he became a lobster diver, his life as a lobster diver, a gratuitous love interest side story, make the whale thing the climax of the story and end with a 20 minutes segment about his recovery and how his new found fame has not affected him in any way.

It’s simply a different venue that requires a different approach to the presentation. I have enjoyed both show deliveries but I am delighted that they are doing what they love which is to engage in stage/audience energy exchange in person in public all together enjoying the show. If you were in the audience you might enjoy the applause more. 👏🏻👏🏾👏

    • Another ozzie, though in exile, and yeah, I really miss the more intimate format where it felt like it was just a myself and a few other people whom I was acquainted with enjoying his riff; instead of hundreds of randos in the audience who I have no connection with. They're just noise, filling time where I want the actual dude who can do comedy to do comedy, rather then the white noise who keeps interrupting. :(

    • @@ammaleslie509 I didn't say it was fake. I suppose it's not always genuine, as they have an applaud now sign. Whether it's genuine or not, it's still annoying, maybe as a Brit I just find the American audience is too loud. Of course our audiences also do laugh and cheer etc, but it seems like in America everyone is trying to be the loudest, and whooping is a very American thing. Just grates on me.

  • im happy that other people are happy, but i personally miss the quiet togetherness that was the late night storage closet. this is much more chaotic, and less neatly composed. but thats just my opinion. i use to be able to get the news and enjoy the content. now i have to turn it down and wait for the 20 seconds of screaming to die down, before i hear the story. its different. i feel like a total boomer in this comment, but internally i want the crowd to just stfu and stop clapping and screaming for more than 3 seconds.
