Left 4 Dead 2 - Resident Evil | Full Campaign | 2K 1440p 60FPS
Resident Evil is a Left 4 Dead 2 custom campaign map made by (steam user id) Roku. Available on the steam workshop.
REDSEVENNINE NOTES: There are various mods used e.g. custom guns, survivor skin mods. UI, sounds, etc etc most of which are available on the steam workshop.
NOTES ON GAMEPLAY: A mod used which alters gameplay significantly is: Gamemodes Script Pack (Modern Zombies - Duo). This mod changes infected/survivor HP, changes to special infected, bot behaviour and gun stats etc. it also allows only 2 survivors.
Additionally, the campaign has been played on Advanced difficulty but this is not the default 'Advanced' difficulty due to the Script Pack being used. Infected are more resilient to damage and inflict more damage.
LAST LEVEL NOTE: Unfortunately during the Escape (last level of the map) in my haste, I accidentally quit the game, so I had to restart the level with basic weaponry. Due to this the end of campaign stats reflect only the last level 'escape' and not the whole campaign.
In the near future I will be covering all three of Roku's Left 4 Dead 2 Resident Evil custom campaign maps in full. The playthroughs will contain even more mods than what is seen in this video, which will make Left 4 Dead 2 even more like Resident Evil.

I still play this mod, it's an amazing job, together with the stars alpha team characters (Chris, Barry, Jill, Wesker) the addition of the puzzles really makes it well thought out by the modder

Yes I am. The original RE is probably my favourite game of all time. And I must say, even though you have probably heard it many times before, brother you made a great map. The attention to detail, use of the original source 'material' and your own creative input and substitutions are top-notch. I'm very happy that you are still updating and modifying the maps (or maybe you are finished with them now?). I really enjoyed the recent changes like lighting and an extra puzzle (in RE2) but not the reduced difficulty in the RE2 finale. You may have been responding to requests from the steam community but I was actually disappointed by the lack of challenge. The finale should be overly difficult e.g. Cold Stream. And I consider myself to be an average gamer. Sorry to go on like this but I've wanted to give my opinions on your maps for awhile. I personally would like to see more of the original RE's games music and puzzles. I would have loved to have seen a REmake version of this map but it probably would be too much time and effort for a map that would end up being too similar in gameplay. Thank you soo much for creating these RE maps. They're brilliant! And also you've inspired me to learn and make small mods for these maps myself.
Yeah,, sometimes I have to make things easier for the community, new generation players are a little bit "weak" :P
Yeah I thought so. One of them said to me - while we were on a RE3 puzzle which none of them could do except me and they wouldn't let me do it without interference, - "why should I use my brain while playing games". Sums-up the 'new generation' lol.
