I prefer without 5x speed. I like to hear the original sound of things. Playing it 5x slower does not restore original audio. It'd rather have original video and if I get bored I'd watch with 2x speed or skip around to seek interesting places.

it was built with real wood too. all these new modern homes, although i will say are extremely efficient, arent made to last being most of it is being held by glue (OSB, MDF , egineered wood etc)

Of all the careers you could've chosen, you decided to be a home wrecker. Nice job getting that place leveled. For the last few I've seen from your channel, every time you go into fast mode, it makes me think of an old B-horror movie like Godzilla, King Kong, or the many of the 60's -80's flare with its herky-jerky motion. My house was built in 1963. I drilled a hole in the wall in one of my walls and there was no insulation in the wall. There was about about R-24 in the attic. I blew in insulation in the walls and went to R-60 in the attic. Very low energy bills these days.

my old house was originally built in 1917, and additions added in later years , so no insulation, the heat bills were through the roof until i started heating with wood

This is beyond messed up! This is a 40’s to50’s era home. You will never see a home built as well as these! The lumber as good as this is long gone! The workmanship is some of the best! This is a disgusting waste! Who am I to say? A carpenter of 50 years experience. This is a sin!

I did my first demo back when I was 12 and all we ever use was a 983b and still have & use that old girl today now and then Ha.. and our daughter who is now 30 can run it like riding a bike.

I've grown to like older small looking houses like this. My grandparents had a house like this during my childhood during the 80's and 90's but I didn't pay it no real attention back then. From the outside they look small but will have sometimes have a total of 5 bedrooms in it. Houses like this arent always healthy to live in.

Probably just to keep the homeless people from seeking shelter in it like every other abandoned building these days , people would rather rip down unused houses instead of turning them into a furnished space for the people who need a place to live and can't afford to get a place.

With a basement, all that torn down material would go into the basement as he tracks forward. He would compact it, and then sit on it further into the home.

No asbestos requires a much different demo.

That’s not always true- our 1960’s home on the coast has flooded multiple times and the county won’t let us restore it- they’re forcing us to tear down and build up on pilings!

We used to walk the customers around their vehicle's when they dropped them off . Number of complaints drop to near zero after that . Good operator by the way .

Well if you're a professional and you knew how to rip these houses down in record time instead of screwing around trying to look for the right spot to dig into it you wouldn't have to speed up your videos I don't do that for 11 I just want you but at least I know if I was to operate that machine I ripped that d*** house down a lot quicker than you do get into it s*** you're getting paid for it no matter what

There are no laborers. There's an excavator (with operator) and a truck (with driver). The excavator crushes it up and loads it onto a truck, which hauls it away and dumps it. They don't pick it up by hand.

I bet your laborers hate you. You obviously can run a machine well but could use some direction on minimizing the mess when wrecking a building.
There are no laborers. There's an excavator (with operator) and a truck (with driver). The excavator crushes it up and loads it onto a truck, which hauls it away and dumps it. They don't pick it up by hand.
@Home Wrecker I own a large Demolition company. I know how it works. Trust me there should be a laborer on the job especially after this method of demo.
