All bikes $2,000 to $2,500 will need to be as good or better than a Wired full suspension or its a No Go. Fancy Display and 9 gears doesn't cut it to pass by on a Wired bike. Torque sensor is a plus for some.
Have you ridden one Kevin? I know there Citizen Cycles and TailHappy have. And they look impressive.
@@EbikeEscape yes.. Now 2 guys at work have one. I got to try them a couple times at lunch break as we ride to a restaurant near work. They ride my Kepler when we trade.
We also have some magnum branded bikes I've gotten to ride at work. In our bike group we have about 40 E Bikes of various brands and types. 200 or so members and about 25% are E Bike owners. 2 Bike groups near me and we do 10-20 mile rides around metro Detroit . I have been checking out various E Bikes for 5 years or so here.
So shich is the best e bike for around $2k range
The ASYNC is a good looking bike. The battery has a similar setup to a Rocky Mountain bike.
Good looking bike but having a bike that is almost 80lbs that you have to lift and flip over upsidedown just to remove/insert the battery is nuts imo. Why oh why did they design it that way. 🤦 Could be a deal breaker for some, especially older people.
Agreed. That is something I don't understand. Especially since the L3 variant the battery removes right out of the frame, like normal.
In a world where half the country lives in freezing temperatures and should not have their batteries in the cold for long, why in the world would they create a messed up battery removal situation like that?
UL certified. Couldn't find it on their site.
The L5 is not currently UL certified. But the A1/A1 Pro is. I also couldn't find it on their website. But I have specifically asked them about UL certification, and it was confirmed. I will get the UL information, and will share it here when I receive it.
@@EbikeEscape Thanks
Looks sweet, but pass on the hard tail.
Not at all worth the $2,500 asking price. You can get the same for less than half the money. This is a hard no for me. You can get a Walkie with a higher top speed + a 40AH battery for $1,700. This is just not a compelling bike.
Stop Waist time and get to the specs & price.!!! Thats the first thing people want to know before wasting . More time learning about the bike. Most People don't need to know about all the Obvious Features, I can see, such as headlights, fenders, 7:50 ect.!!!!
I couldn't get through the video, you are so overly wordy
Honest question. Would you rather have less information in the intro about Async as a brand or less actual information about the specific components?
@@EbikeEscapeignore these losers, you did a great job man. Very informative, which is why we come to these videos to begin with.
@@EbikeEscape Get to the main points first, then all the other stuff in fine detail after. Top points people want right away, *TOP SPEED *RANGE *BATTERY VOLTAGE & AMP HOURS *PEAK VOLTAGE OUTPUT *SUSPENSION. Don't beat around the bush.
